23andMe Files For Bankruptcy, CEO Steps Down

Genetic testing company 23andMe has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and the company’s CEO Anne Wojcicki has stepped down from her position.

23andMe Must Pay $30M As Genetics Data Breach Settlement Is Reached

The DNA testing company 23andMe has agreed to pay $30 million in order to resolve a lawsuit arising from a data breach in 2023 that resulted in the exposure of over six million users’ personal data and information.

Hacker Leaks Millions Of ’23andMe’ User Data On Cybercrime Site

23andMe, a popular genetics testing company, recently confirmed that data from its users has been hacked and the company is now in the process of investigating the breach.
