Senator Eileen Flynn told The Irish Sun on Friday that she wouldn’t nominate McGregor to “wash the dishes.” Various other government officials echoed her statements.

McGregor balked at the remark on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, telling Flynn to go see a dentist and that she would be the only reason to bring back masks.

He went on to say that only 5% of Ireland supports the current government and that he has the backing of the masses.

In order to be eligible to run for president, McGregor requires 20 nominations from the Irish parliament. Currently, he has none.
