“I’m committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House, where he once again serve us as our commander in chief,” she stated.
“I know that President Trump understands the grave responsibility that a president bears for every single one of our lives, whether you’re a soldier, you’re an airman, a marine sailor or a Coastie, he keeps us in his heart, in the decisions that he makes,” she continued. “We saw [his] first term in the presidency when he not only didn’t start any new wars, he took action to deescalate and [end] wars. … As we head towards our decision as a country in November, the same cannot be [said] about Kamala Harris.”

For a number of reasons, Gabbard became disillusioned with the Democrat party, which led to her exit in 2021.
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stroke anti-white racism,” Gabbard wrote in a 2022 post.
“I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by and for the powerful elite,” she added. “I’m calling on my fellow common sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party.”
Gabbard has also been working with Trump ahead of the scheduled debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, as the former Hawaii representative publicly destroyed Harris in their 2019 Democratic presidential primary debate, criticizing her record as a California prosecutor.
“She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana,” said Gabbard in the viral debate clip.
