White House officials told the Washington Times that Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will be watching from the White House residence rather than the watch party location.

“Tonight, the president and first lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff,” a White House official told The Washington Times. “The president will receive regular updates on the state of races across the country.”

Harris is hosting an election watch party less than two miles away from the White House at Howard University.

Additionally, the 46th president did not attend Harris’ closing argument speech, which was directly across from the White House.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump will be following the results from his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, where he is set to host several gatherings.
