Speaker Johnson reveals GOP is working on new healthcare plan amid shutdown

GOP Speaker of the House Mike Johnson revealed that Republican leaders are developing a new healthcare plan amid the government shutdown, while Democrats continue pushing the Trump administration to permanently extend Obamacare subsidies.

USDA: Over 40M Americans will lose SNAP benefits beginning Nov. 1

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that approximately 42 million Americans will lose their Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits beginning on November 1st due to the government shutdown.
