House votes to pass debt ceiling bill

A bill extending the country’s debt ceiling was approved by the House on Wednesday after days of deliberation among Republican legislators to support the measure.

673 University professors rally together to oppose courses on America’s founding

A public declaration opposing proposed legislation that would require university students to take classes on the nation’s governance and founding documents was signed by hundreds of University of North Carolina (UNC) professors on Tuesday.

Sen. Scott’s New Bill: Armed officers in all U.S. schools

Under legislation proposed on Tuesday by Senator Rick Scott, funds allocated for thousands of additional IRS workers would be diverted to a grant program enabling schools worldwide to hire armed law enforcement officers.

Eight bodies found in Cancun resort from cartel violence

Authorities said on Tuesday that eight bodies had been discovered dumped in Cancun, one of Mexico’s most well-known tourist destinations.

Joe Biden and South Korean President announce new deterrence plans

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol visited the White House on Wednesday in order to discuss deterrence plans with President Joe Biden against the increasing North Korean nuclear threat.
