NYC Subway Uses AI To Combat Fare Evasion

The staggering loss of revenue over fare evasion has prompted the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to quietly implement surveillance software that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to spot people attempting to evade fares.

Jury Awards Florida Family $800k After 4-Year-Old Girl Was Burned by Nuggets

A Florida family was awarded $800,000 in damages by a South Florida jury. They ruled in favor of the family after McDonald’s steaming hot chicken nuggets left a young girl with severe second-degree burns.

Police Believe Lion Is On The Loose Near Berlin

A large, dangerous animal suspected to be a lioness is on the loose near the outskirts of the German capital. Police in Berlin have urged residents on the South-Western outskirts of Berlin to keep pets inside and stay indoors after an overnight sighting of the large animal.
