IRS Halts Surprise Visits To Taxpayers’ Homes And Businesses Over Safety Concerns

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced on Monday that the agency will dramatically restrict the number of unannounced inspections of homes and businesses, citing safety concerns for its personnel as well as the possibility of scammers posing as agency officials.

UPS And Teamsters Union Reach Labor Deal, Avoiding More Strikes

On Tuesday, UPS and the Teamsters union, which represents approximately 340,000 workers at the package carrier, announced a tentative labor agreement that includes raises for both full-time and part-time employees avoiding a potential strike that was scheduled to begin next week.
