Wall St opens slightly lower ahead of data, Fed commentary

Wall Street opened a touch lower on Tuesday after the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq notched record high levels in the last session, with focus on a crucial jobs report later this week.

Report: Trump Allegedly Told Trudeau Canada Could Be 51st State If They Can’t Handle Tariffs

President-elect Donald Trump reportedly suggested to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last week that if his country can’t handle Trump’s tariff plan they should become the 51st state.

China bans export of key minerals to U.S. as trade frictions escalate

China has banned exports to the U.S. of items related to the minerals gallium, germanium and antimony that have potential military applications.
