President Donald Trump hosted a Tuesday night dinner with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other notable figures in attendance.

The lavish dinner followed a series of meetings at the White House in which the president and the Saudi Crown Prince discussed the Abraham Accords, a two-state solution in the Israel-Palestinian conflict, and the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Prior to the Crown Prince’s visit to the White House, Trump expressed that he had hoped to persuade the Saudis to join the Abraham Accords — ultimately normalizing ties between Israel and the Saudi government.

During a Tuesday joint press conference in the Oval Office, the Saudi leader stated that the Saudis “want to be part of the Abraham Accords, but we want also to be sure that we secure a clear path to a two-state solution.”

“We had a healthy discussion with Mr. President that we’re going to work on that to be sure that we can prepare the right situation as soon as possible,” he added.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk joined President Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for an intimate dinner at the White House as well, rounding out a high-profile gathering of global influencers in sports, business, and politics.

“My son is a big fan of Ronaldo,” Trump stated during a speech to the group. “And Barron got to meet him, and I think he respects his father a little bit more now that I’ve introduced you. Thank you for being here, it’s an honor.”

President Trump could be seen acknowledging Musk on his way to the dinner, indicating that the two are back on good terms after their public falling out.

Other guests in attendance included Apple CEO Tim Cook, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Ronaldo is currently playing with the club team Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, after the Saudi government invested billions of dollars to attract world-class players. He recently signed a two-year contract with the club, reportedly worth over $400 million.

Ronaldo stated that President Trump is “one of the guys that can help to change the world,” and his visit comes as the United States prepares to host the 2026 World Cup — which is expected to be the 40-year-old soccer superstar’s last one.

“I’ve directed my administration to do everything within its power to make the 2026 World Cup an unprecedented success. I think it’s going to be the greatest, and we are setting records on ticket sales,” Trump proclaimed.
