As Obamacare continues to see sky rocketing premiums and fewer options, a new report finds the law’s individual mandate is crushing the middle class.The report, published by Forbes, reveals 80 percent of those who pay the Obamacare penalty are making less than 50 thousand dollars per year.
Just hours after the House passed sweeping tax reform, the Senate Finance Committee approved its tax plan, pushing the legislation to the floor for a full vote. The panel approved the measure in a 14-to-12 vote along party lines on Thursday.
The Trump administration is set to make an unprecedented move, allowing seven states to enforce work requirements for Medicaid recipients. Arkansas, Arizona, Indiana, Maine, New Hampshire, Utah, and Wisconsin are expected to submit the waivers. Four of these states previously decided to grant Obamacare Medicaid expansion to low-income residents.
