After a fiery exchange during President Trump’s recent press conference, the White House has suspended the press credentials of CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

The move comes after the president was repeatedly interrupted and shouted down by Acosta and other members of the press pool Wednesday.

The tense exchange between the president and Acosta was prompted by a question about the migrant caravan.

The president accused Acosta and other members of the media of being extremely hostile toward him and White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

Some say the new wave of fierce attacks on the president from the mainstream media is being encouraged by the GOP loss of the House.
