Coroner: Petito cause of death is strangulation

The Teton County coroner said Gabby Petito’s cause of death was strangulation, while maintaining the manner of her death was a homicide. Coroner Brent Blue made the announcement in a press conference on Tuesday, in which he estimated the strangulation took place three to four weeks before her body was found.
