More than 130 federal agents have stayed behind in Portland to act as a “quick reaction force.” Earlier this week, the Trump administration reached a deal with Governor Kate Brown to withdraw federal agents from the city.

On Friday, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) pressed Dr. Anthony Fauci on whether protests have been driving the spread of coronavirus cases in the U.S. During a House hearing, Jordan asked Fauci if the government should limit demonstrations to help slow the spread of infection.
President Trump has set a deadline for Democrat leaders in Portland, Oregon to put an end to riots in their city. On Thursday, the president confirmed Homeland Security agents will remain in the area for 48 hours to see if crime and political violence show signs of letting up.
Oregon Governor Kate Brown recently announced the federal government has agreed to withdraw officers from Portland. The Democrat leader took to Twitter on Wednesday, where she stated all CBP and ICE officers will leave downtown Portland starting on Thursday.
Leaders of Portland’s NAACP chapter are calling for protesters to bring demonstrations back to form. Chapter president E.D. Mondainé recently called attention to what he believes is a “white spectacle” brought on by leftist agitators, such as Antifa.
Seattle police declared Black Lives Matter protests a riot after demonstrations turned violent. On Saturday night, 45 people were reportedly arrested and 21 officers were injured.
