President Trump is criticizing the mainstream media for its coverage of the impeachment inquiry. During a press conference with the President of Finland Wednesday, the president got into a heated back-and-forth with Reuters reporter Jeff Mason.
It began after Mason asked a question implying the president was pressuring Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden. President Trump said Biden is, in fact, corrupt and asked Mason to move on to other topics. The reporter refused to move forward, which triggered the heated exchange.
“Look, Biden and his son are stone cold crooked and you know it,” said the president. “His son walks out with millions of dollars.”
Mason continued to push the topic, and President Trump firmly responded by saying:
“It’s a whole hoax and you know who’s playing into the hoax? People like you (Mason) and the fake news media that we have in this country. And I say in many cases, the corrupt media, because you’re corrupt. Much of the media in this country is not just fake, it’s corrupt. And you have some very fine people too, great journalists, great reporters, but it to a large extent, it’s corrupt and it’s fake.”
President Trump has continued to stress the impeachment inquiry is unsubstantiated, and said there is nothing to discuss.
The Do Nothing Democrats should be focused on building up our Country, not wasting everyone’s time and energy on BULLSHIT, which is what they have been doing ever since I got overwhelmingly elected in 2016, 223-306. Get a better candidate this time, you’ll need it!
