President Trump recently opened up about his one regret since taking office. In an interview with ‘Meet the Press’ Sunday, he said appointing Jeff Sessions as his first attorney general was his biggest mistake.

The president has long expressed his dissatisfaction with the former attorney general after Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation.

Sessions resigned from his role in November 2018, eventually resulting in William Barr being named the new attorney general. President Trump went on to tout Barr’s accomplishments since taking up the position, and congratulated him for doing a “spectacular job.”
