President Trump continues his national midterm campaign tour with Texas being the next state on the itinerary.

The White House confirmed Monday the president will visit Houston on Monday, October 22.

This will be the president’s sixth rally in the state and the second in Houston since he first announced his candidacy back in 2015.

The trip comes as senator Ted Cruz is in a heated contest with Democrat Beto O’Rourke in the Texas Senate race.

O’Rourke is on the heels of a massive fundraising quarter in which he brought in an unprecedented $38 million.

The president and Cruz had an adversarial relationship during the 2016 campaign.

However, they’ve since warmed up with President Trump going all out in his support of the Senate hopeful this election cycle.
