According to White House Deputy Press Secretary Brian Morgenstern, the President is very interested in getting back out on the campaign trail. On Friday, he discussed President Trump’s health and his desire to get back to work.

“He can’t wait to get out and interact with the American people in a safe way,” stated the deputy press secretary.

As soon as the President is no longer contagious, Morgenstern has said he is planning to hold rallies and attend the remaining presidential debates as planned.

“He can’t wait to debate Joe Biden, and the presidential debate commission changing the format unilaterally was a very bad idea,” he added. “They should face off before the American people, live and in person.”

Morgenstern reiterated the President does not plan to attend any in-person events until he is cleared by medical experts.
