First Daughter Ivanka Trump is urging Americans to vote in the midterm elections.
In a video address Tuesday, Ivanka called on citizens to go to the polling stations and vote despite the poor weather conditions in parts of the country.
Her request comes as heavy rain is battering parts Midwest and the East Coast, which some political experts fear could impact voter turnout.
Ivanka reminded Americans of the great importance of this midterm election.
“One of the great privileges of being an American is having your voice heard,” she stated. “Get out and vote — don’t let the rain stop you.”
