Governor Sarah Palin to Guest Host One America News Network’s Political Talk Show “On Point”

Palin Brings Star Power to Week of August 24th

Washington, D.C., August 18, 2015 – One America News Network, “OAN”, a trusted source for 24/7 national and international news, announced today that Governor Sarah Palin will be guest hosting One America News Network’s political talk show “On Point” the week of August 24th. “On Point with Guest Host Sarah Palin” will air nightly in prime time at 10 PM EST, beginning Monday, August 24th through Friday August 28th.

“I didn’t get into public service to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why the ship is built!” said Palin. “I’m excited for this opportunity to give voice to so many Americans we hear from every day, and the concerns about our future, and how best to fix the problems. Sitting back behind the desk instead of in the hot seat is enjoyable and welcomed temporary return to my roots. I’m thrilled to guest host “On Point,” she concludes. Palin began her career in broadcasting.

According to Robert Herring, Sr., CEO of One America News Network, “Palin’s experience and insights will further the political conversation, especially meaningful as the 2016 Presidential race heats up.   She’s been influential in helping multiple candidates on the right, including some running for the GOP Presidential nomination. Regardless of one’s political view, the discussions will be meaningful, while also being entertaining.”

Palin served as Governor of Alaska – the youngest and the first woman to hold the office.   She was the first woman nominated by the Republican Party as a Vice Presidential Candidate, running alongside Arizona Senator John McCain in 2008. In 2009, Governor Palin formed SarahPAC where she has worked tirelessly and effectively to elect conservative candidates across our nation. She is a three-time New York Times bestselling author, with her fourth book “Sweet Freedom” out this fall from Regnery Publishing. Governor Palin is one of Time Magazine’s “Most Influential People” in the world, twice listed on Barbara Walter’s annual “10 Most Fascinating People” and one of the 100 “Most Significant American’s Of All Times” as ranked by the Smithsonian Institute. Palin holds a Communications degree with an emphasis in journalism. She and her husband Todd live in Wasilla, AK and have five children and two grandchildren.

One America News Network has been providing extensive coverage of the 2016 Presidential campaign, including numerous exclusive one-on-one interviews with the leading candidates. One America News Network will release on-going 2016 Presidential polling results. 1. Sarah did pretty well. She seemed a bit nervous, but raised her game as the night went on. She dropped most of the folksy mannerisms, and laid it out, plain, simple, and to the point. She did get at least one “Grizzly Momma” in, but old habits are hard to change. I will watch again tonight. B+, keep going.

  3. Palin is a joke that belongs to reality tv

  4. Alaska Born58 | August 24, 2015 at 9:28 pm |

Really, Sarah’s talking about Hilary’s emails. Does she forget her own email issues using her own personal email for Alaska business? Was she “above the law” as well. OMG!!!!!!!

    • She did not have a server of her own, separate from state government server.
She had a smartphone w/ both a personal & government email address. Alaska didn’t have gov’t secrets. Remember the press requesting her emails by FOIA? She released 25,000 emails for her 2 yrs in office & the media went crazy trying to find
“Dirt” on her only to find nothing just that she was doing her job. They were so dissapointed!
The biggest thing with Hillary is the SERVER, stored in her NY home. Sarah had an email address plus her personal email address (not a separate server).

  5. Palin is a tormented soul. please no more.

  6. I love Sarah Palin! Thank you OANN for bringing her in. I will watch her every night, she is a breath of fresh air in the world of politics.

  7. Sarah did a FANTASTIC job tonight…sure enjoyed her show. So informative and uplifting! I’ll be watching this show every night. THANK YOU OANN for keeping the programs TOP NOTCH on every level! Wonderful to see….

  8. Enjoyed Sarah’s time at the seat this evening. She covered quite a lot of hot topics. Look forward to the rest of this week; will watch Hannity at Midnight my time. 🙂

    • So you can still see Hannity! I like being able to watch both shows when they are on @ the same time but different channels!

  9. Jeanne Bezek | August 24, 2015 at 8:38 pm |

So excited to see Sara Palin. She is a refreshing breath of fresh air for truth. I will be tuning in every evening this week. I hope you sign her up full time. I will be watching and I am sure she will improve your ratings. She has a huge following of people who love and respect her. Ignore what the naysayers are spouting. If they watch her with an open mind, they will grow to respect her. The media tried to destroy her in the past and those speaking out against her are products of their war on her.

  10. Where Toni goes, so shall I. I had enough of Palin years ago. I wasn’t impressed with what I saw today at all.

  11. John williamson | August 24, 2015 at 8:22 pm |

Sad day if Tomi is gone. Hope she is back on air somewhere. The country needs the truth

  12. What a farce!!!! I’ll refrain from watching for the rest of this week. Sarah Palin is a disaster!!! Can’t talk, can’t pronounce words with more than two syllables; looks like a cadaver with a wig; whiny, nasal screeching!! Everything she’s saying is a repeat of her ghost-written Facebook page.

What genius at OAN decided to put this idjit on the air??

  13. I love Sarah Palin, but also love Tomi….. if she leaves, I will leave OAN also

  14. Menifee Mike | August 24, 2015 at 7:39 pm |

I like Sarah but this is Tomi’s show. On Point with Tomi Lahren with special guest astray Palin would have been better. If Tomi goes I go. Don’t mess with a good thing. Finally someone that speaks for us! Tread lightly OAN.

  15. Mike in Menifee | August 24, 2015 at 7:23 pm |

I love Sarah and I am not against her guest hosting. But I am against changing the name this is. tomi Lahrens show. It should be stated as such with special guest Sarah Palin. If Tomi goes so do I!!! We finally get someone in the media worth listening too and you pull her. Did Tomi have a say? Why the cone of silence? We deserve to know OAN!

    • I watched On Point w/ Sarah Palin tonight. I like her better on that side of the desk.
I keep checking Tomi’s Twitter acct & there was a mention about her show with Sarah Palin “filling her shoes this week” so maybe she’s on vacation!

    • Check Tomi’s Twitter account.

Tomi Lahren introduced the majority of those watching On Point this evening to the OAN Network. She put the network on the media map. The OANN leadership seems determined to make sure it’s a short stay. If Fox News has offered her a deal that OANN can’t match, they need to very visibly and quickly say EXACTLY THAT on their air. Make it very clear that they tried to keep her but the Tomi Lahren star was rising too fast for them to afford. Quietly replacing her with Sarah Palin is not the answer.

  18. Only a few minutes away. Looking forward to seeing what Sarah does. 🙂

  19. Marie mcleod | August 24, 2015 at 6:25 pm |

My husband and I will no longer be watching OAN now that Tomi is not there! She was the best thing we have seen in reporting along with Graham Ledger! Bring Tomi back…..

  20. I have no issue with palin guest hosting the show but WE WANT TOMI ! WE WANT TOMI ! WE WANT TOMI !!!!!!!!!!!!! UNDERSTAND ?

  21. With all due respect to Governor Palin, On Point without Tomi Lahren is like a gun without a bullet. Worthless!

  22. francesca guarino | August 24, 2015 at 11:15 am |

I will be watching the Great Governor Palin

  23. Until notified otherwise, Sarah Palin is GUEST hosting On Point. That’s what the promo pieces and the banner above state. I’m going to go with what the OANN website is saying. All the speculation is just that– speculation. As far as where Tomi went, how about a vacation? I would think she gets a vacation like most people.

  24. Well tonight’s the night at 9pm my time. Looking forward to seeing Sarah share her thoughts on the matter. It would be cool if the Donald would make a surprise visit this week too. 🙂

  25. kevin oconnor | August 23, 2015 at 5:18 pm |

Why would you have this brain dead grifter on your show?

    • No one is having you on the show, Kevin…

      • Did your parents have any children that lived?

        • Hey people! Just bc we have different ideas about Gov Palin doesn’t mean we have to get nasty – “did your parents have any children that lived”. Can’t we just be civil on the website comments????

  26. Ray Williams | August 23, 2015 at 4:57 pm |

Tomi Lahren was on Fox & Friends the other day and they introduced her as the FORMER host of “On Point.”

  27. I meant the other news outlets have become unwatchable

  28. i hope Tomi is just on vacation, although I do recall some kind of farewell speak the last time I saw her show, didn’t think much about it at the time, Sarah is very good, McCain was the problem in 2008, but I don’t want to get started on that idiot. I will give Sarah every chance, the others have become unwatchable dribble

  29. If Tomi was fired this ranks right up there with Jerry Jones firing Jimmy Johnson. WE love you Tomi and much as I like OANN I will not watch it if you are not hosting On Point! And no I do not hate Sarah Palin either.

  30. I will miss Tomi but I love Sarah Palin!!

  31. I really LIKE OAN and sincerely hope that Tomi Lahren is not being replaced by Sarah Palin. Sara Palin is a very smart lady but I believe she is an “Established” politician who has already had her day many times over. Hopefully OAN is not falling into political traps in attempts to achieve more air time through cuddling with GOP cronies…..

    • Diane Martinez | August 22, 2015 at 5:38 pm |

Sarah is NOT part of the GOP establishment! They do not like her or her connection to Tea Party candidates. They never liked her as McCain’s VP pick in 2008 but she drew crowds that he couldn’t. When the left & press went to Alaska to look for dirt, attacking her family including her kids, none in the GOP came to her defense!

  32. I do like Palin, and think she can take charge of On Point if she :
    1. Drops the Grizzly Momma references, and of putting lipstick on things..
    2. Quit using folks sarcasm, when discussing some of the lib issues… Go for the jugular! Have the facts, lay them out, use a hammer.

Palin does have the requisite creds to call out BS when she hears it. I hope she will get straight to the point, and give no quarter.
I think how great it would be if Sarah does well, and Tomi comes back somewhere (you know she will, somewhere). As far as Tomi resurfacing on Fox, I Think O’Reilly would be the 1st to object to Tomi, as she would be an instant threat to his imaginary “no spin zone”. Kelly would be right behind Bill, then Hannity, etc. But I guess anything could happen, so we all have something to look forward to. Would like to see her and Gutfeld mix it up.

Trump vs Clinton drip drip drip might be changing her pant suit to orange
Trump vs Sanders you’re a what?? Wasserman can’t describe the difference
Trump vs Biden hmm sympathy vote? Knows the ropes, lots love “crazy Uncle J”
?? vs ?? Who else? Yogi Berra said it all about predictions….

  33. Chris Kleckner | August 21, 2015 at 4:23 pm |

Hopefully more cable and satellite providers will start carrying OANN in their lineup. Personally I like Tomi Larhen but think she’s a bit too shrill and needs to talk a little slower. My gut feeling s she has gone on to Fox News but at least that doesn’t degrade OANN as an excellent news source.

  34. I don’t understand why some ppl are calling Tomi a “no talent”! Once I heard her viral video, I found her show & watched it every night & then I heard this past week, I noticed her shows were reruns. I found her note on Twitter saying she had just finished her last show on OANN. I saw her on Fox & Friends this am (Friday).
When I find out where she goes, I will follow her. Tomi’s leaving has nothing to do with Sarah Palin!

  35. No Tomi, No watchi. She was fresh, vibrant, local, and with a new perspective that is so missing from all of this “corporate” news and commentary. While I do like Sarah, she is not Tomi. Oh and Coolchange80… You’re and idiot. I don’t make snide remarks. EVER but you son have earned that one.

  36. Lots of vitriol going on up there in these comments. Let’s evaluate some facts of the past few weeks. 1) Megyn Kelly takes ten unpaid days “vacation” from FNC after bashing, yes bashing, Trump at the FNC sponsored “debate”. 2) Tomi Lahren’s contract is at an end with OANN. 3) Sarah Palin is available, and willing, to fill in for Tomi, while contract negotiations are ongoing. From this information, wrong or right, I would guess Tomi is being considered for Megyn’s job at FNC which, God bless her, would be a huge advancement in her career; or maybe she is just spending time with family, trying to get a better contract with OANN. Sarah, always a hot ticket, is getting some face time on a NEWS broadcast, which she is very good at. I don’t know the situation with Megyn, but I’m pretty sure the other “cable news” channels aren’t interested in her. Television is a cut-throat world, and I would wager all three of them will end up better than any of us pecking words here. Being we are Americans who want the truth, and believe in God; Why don’t we wait and see what happens instead of blaming this, accusing that, and screaming about nothing?

    • I’m sure Megyn’s job at FNC is safe Ric. Believe the vacation was planned (I thought what you did too, but later found out what I now believe is the truth). I also believe Tomi is going to be coming back to OAN. Contracts are just that; they only signed a 1 year (my guess)since she was a new comer and an unknown and OAN is a relative new channel. I’m sure there will be an agreement and all will be well. She does have a hard spot since she goes against Hannity. I’ve not watched Hannity as much as I have in the past (watch other shows besides news programs; lol), but do like the guy too. Regardless, I also catch Tomi now and then and do watch her on weekends (where she use to be live when they had repeats on FOX news) until her recent move to weekday prime time. 🙂

  37. I hope Tomi is coming back,as I only came to this station for watching her reporting every night. Such honest passion and patriotism is seldom seen in this age group. I told friends to tune in to her news show…and in 45 years of watching news I never did that for anyone before. I’m hoping Tomi returns after Palin. We needed someone like her to get her age demographic to be more seriously involved in politics for the good of our country. Thanks for being smart enough to give her the opportunity, I hope you were smart enough to also somehow keep her.

    • Yeah; I like Tomi too. Did some searching and it appears that there’s a contract dispute between her and the owners of OAN (as reported by, I believe, the Washington Examiner for whatever reason). Not sure if that will get resolved or not. I’m sure, in the meantime, OAN will have guest anchors such as Sarah Palin until either they resolve the contract with Tomi or go with someone else. We shall see what happens. Still, I do look forward to seeing Sarah next week. She is good friends with the Donald too so maybe she can get him to come on On Point next week too. 🙂

  38. Just saw on OAN this. I do like Tomi (don’t always catch her since I usually watch Hannity; do see her repeats on the weekend though), but am also looking forward to a week with Sarah next week. Hannity will have to wait until midnight. lol

  39. The OANN Exec that caused this should be asked to leave. I am done with OANN.

  40. I am absolutely, positively devastated by Tomi’s departure. I just can’t believe it. I am a 47 year old male that was entirely too focused on watching sports(until Tomi). She gave me the inspiration to get into world events and news.
It is such a sad time!!

  41. Cheryl mccauley | August 20, 2015 at 7:33 pm |

I really enjoyed tomi lahren’s feistiness and intelligence. I hope she wasn’t let go by OANN. I also will look forward to Sarah Palin. Both women are Patriots and should be respected. Enough negativity!

  42. john porowski | August 20, 2015 at 7:23 pm |

Tomi Lahren is the only reason to watch OAN. Her passion and youth are invigorating. Palin is not just old news but a lousy commentator. If tomi is gone so am I.

  43. George & Loretta J. OKeefe | August 20, 2015 at 6:48 pm |

We 79-year olds instantly took to Tomi Lahren’s style, demeanor, intelligence, forthright newscasting while allowing us to also see, hear and be informed of views from the “other” side. She is a fair commentator who espouses her love for this country. If she has moved on to a better job allowing her to extend her yalents and learn more journalistic skills, that’s one thing. But, if she was let go to give a political hack to bring in the ratings, then that’s something else. Tomi brings OANN a “NEW” slant to an old media. My wife and I and our neighbors and friends will also be waiting to hear the real reasoning behing her departure.

Her abrupt depature, whether temporary or permanent, sounds just like many of the other backroom decisions that we’ve seen and heard thouughout our 61-years of marriage. At least give us the truth for once.

  44. Hello Everyone,
The only problem with Trump is that the truth is out in the real world everyone seems to be looking at a Mr. Rogers plan and the land of make believe where you can really have lolly pops and rainbows everyday of the week and that’s coming from me I work my tail off everyday of the week and it’s a shame that Tomi Lahren really doesn’t see the bad side of things going on in the rest of the USA !
PS. I hope that Trump gets in the white house !

  45. My Verizon Guide informs me that Tomi will return to her 10 PM (EST) time slot the following Monday (31 August).

  46. This change is only for one week while Tomi is off. The bozo that called Tomi a shill for the establishment has never watched her show. She is a Conservative and is to the Right of Palin.

    • Actually, to my huge disappointment, Tomi said this on Twitter: “I’ve completed my last show at OANN, and I am profoundly grateful for their support over the last year. Something new is coming in my life and work, and I can’t wait to share it with you. I’m ready to hit the ground running.”

The rest you are dead on about though.

I became an instant fan of the youngster, and even emailed her several weeks ago, urging her to stay here on OANN.
I’ll miss being able to share with friends the youtube videos of her show that she posted here.

  47. It seems to be mostly kids at the helm at OANN. If their intent is to replace Lahren with “marquee” names, they are signing their own business death warrant. Lahren has put OANN on the map. The network leadership seems hellbent on making sure it’s a short stay.

  48. I’m disappointed to see all the sniping back and forth about Tomi and Sarah. Let’s not forget these women are both a credit to their gender and conservative values. I believe that neither of these women would want to create a division among true conservatives. There are enough people of shal we say a less than conservative nature that are eager to sling mud at both of these wonderful people. It is blatantly obvious that both of them have a ton of fans. I would like to see all this energy focused on defeating the liberal agenda. Let’s keep in mind who the true enemies are. But that’s just one man’s opinion. God Bless

  49. I think its a bad decision you need to bring tomi back I’m an independent but I got four of my hard core democratic friends to watch her show now that you’re putting sarah on they will not watch the show I think it’s a bad decision

  50. Wow! was waiting for this to happen, I really like OAN glad they are starting to diversify their programing. They could surpass FOX News, and will surpass CNN. and the others.

  51. Its great to see the passion in all of the comments relating to On Point show! I do believe that ALL of the OAN staff bring us a clear, truthful, unspun news reporting, and that they will continue to do so. Graham, Cassie, etc., the owners of OAN know what this country needs, they deliver that 100 percent. All of their team is right on. For comparison, do a brief switch back to those ” other ” agenda driven attempts at news channels, and you will recall what brings us to OAN !

    • Bren Pool Vignaroli | August 20, 2015 at 7:56 am |

Absolutely right Chris…OAN is THE #1 News Network that we all have been waiting and hoping for. The entire news staff is to be commended…not just one or two. They have all done an amazing job of bringing us the TRUTH which is what we all seek.

  52. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 11:17 pm |

Anybody that stands for Marco Rubio is a fool! Marco Rubio is a Proven Liar and conservatives know it.

  53. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 11:14 pm |

Remember that Sarah Palin was a Journalist before she was a Politician . There are a lot of Palin Supporters that look forward to Sarah Palin bringing the truth. Palin is a Conservative unlike the FoxNews GOP establishment that trashes conservatives .

  54. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 10:53 pm |

Tomi Lahren promoted the GOP establishment and will fit with the Megyn Kellys off FoxNews

  55. Norman Kundla | August 19, 2015 at 10:44 pm |

I will watch just because of Sarah Palin , never heard of OANN til 2 days ago

  56. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 10:42 pm |

Tomi Lahren supports Amnesty boy Rubio and has ties to Boehner’s girl Kristi Noem .

  57. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:32 pm |

Sarah Palin speaks with power and authority, when Sarah Palin talks people listen . Tomi Lahren is another blonde anchor , Sarah Palin will be fantastic

  58. Tomi has made me a conservative from a moderate and before that, a liberal…she makes sense out of politics..Love her style, professionalism, and maturity..

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:30 pm |

I’d give a damn about Poltics before Sarah Palin . Sarah Palin is the Tea Party ‘s greatest champion

  59. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:12 pm |

Tomi Lahren was a Rubio supporting hack . Sarah Palin is Conservative . Tomi will be another Murdoch establishment stooge that will praise the establishment .

    • Enjoyed Tomi Lahren’s show a great deal. You do Sarah Palin a great disservice by attacking Tomi. Comments like the ones you left above only serve to harm Governor Palin. You are literally turning Tomi’s fans against Sarah Palin. For someone who claims to be a Palin supporter, I’ve seen few people more responsible for creating bad feelings toward Gov. Palin than CoolChange80. The Governor would benefit greatly if you would never mention her name again.

      • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 10:39 pm |

Shut up and stop being a gutless wimp incapable of telling the truth .

        • Michael Teuber | August 23, 2015 at 9:57 pm |

iizthatiiz has done more actual work restoring and defending the admirable record of the most unjustly vilified champion of America’s workers and small business owners than all but a handful of other dedicated Sarah Palin supporters.

  60. Kathleen Thompson | August 19, 2015 at 7:58 pm |

Sarah Palin is Ratings Gold and her track record proves . I definitely be watching Sarah Palin !

  61. Kathleen Thompson | August 19, 2015 at 7:56 pm |

Sarah Palin is terrific and is a Superstar . Tomi Lahren is a nobody with little talent .

  62. Kathleen Thompson | August 19, 2015 at 7:55 pm |

Sarah Palin will put OANN on the Map . Tomi was a no talent

  63. CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 7:54 pm |

I see the Trig Truther site spammed the posts .

  64. Look forward to Sarah Palin . Will be watching

  65. Eric Michalak | August 19, 2015 at 7:43 pm |

    keep Tomi Lahren!!!

  66. I am an independent conservative senior. Really enjoyed Tomi Lahren and have been watching and telling everyone about her show. What gives?? I’m disappointed in the network for not reporting on the status of Tomi. I will not be watching Sarah Palin. The primary reason I watched OAN was because of Tomi’s inspiring approach, refreshing style and knowledge about the key issues facing our nation. OAN needs to clarify Tomi’s status.

    • Norman Kundla | August 19, 2015 at 10:49 pm |

Jon, there will be tons of Palin supporters watching that didn’t watch OANN before . I ‘m one of them .

  67. Debbie newman | August 19, 2015 at 5:48 pm |

Nothing personal Mrs Palin, but what is going on with Tomi Lahren?

  68. Diane Martinez | August 19, 2015 at 3:09 pm |

Check Tomi’s Twitter account & her you tube channel. She left
OANN for something else but she didn’t say what yet! Gov Palin is
    only guest hosting next week.

  69. Laureen Davis | August 19, 2015 at 1:51 pm |

Recently started watching your network because of Tomi Lahren. Love her truth and passion. Hope you didn’t do something stupid at the network to have her leave. Will follow Tomi at her next show (hope it is soon). Maybe she decided to marry her Navy Seal, since his tour was ending in August and move to a new location. Best wishes Tomi!

  70. Its a shame you don’t have Tomi Lahren anymore.I Like Palin but she is no Tomi Lahren. She was the face of your network ..if it wasn’t for her I and my friends would never know about One America News….of she ends up at Fox she will take away your ratings..should have paid her she is worth every but of it and made your network shine.

  71. I’ll look every time and again and if tomi isn’t on, we’ll I’m done with OAN

    • Kathleen Thompson | August 19, 2015 at 8:04 pm |

Sarah Palin will bring in 10 times the audience that Tomi Lahren brought . Sarah Palin is a Superstar with many millions of supporters and fans . Tomi Lahren is not .

  72. I think Sarah will be great and should continue to grow OAN’s reputation. I love Tomi and she is a star rising and I will continue to DVR her show when it begins as well as DVR On Point w Sarah. I think we all win because we now have two great ones to watch. Tomi will have a show; she is a 10 out of 10. So it is not goodbye. Lets not trash Sarah because she is replacing Tomi. They are both conservative women with great values and common sense. Both patriots

  73. I’m going thru Tomi withdrawals!

I hope we see Tomi again soon, wherever she appears next!

Sarah Palin will bring in 10 times the audience that Tomi Lahren brought . Sarah Palin is a Superstar with many millions of supporters and fans . Tomi Lahren is not .

  74. Bren Pool Vignaroli | August 19, 2015 at 10:12 am |

HOLD ON FOLKS…some of you are jumping to conclusions…Tomy did nothing wrong to get canned from OANN…her 1 year contract was up. She is moving on to something new! Stay tuned, and read her tweets!

Tomi Lahren ‏@TomiLahren 14h14 hours ago
“I’ve completed my last show at OANN, and I am profoundly grateful for their support over the last year. Something new is coming…#TeamTomi”

I fully support Tomi she is a breath of fresh air that we, as conservatives, all need! I also support Sarah Palin 100%. Get behind her and lets hear what she has to say. Both of these ladies are PATRIOTS! SUPPORT THEM!

  75. To be clear, not to be another Fox. OAN might have been on the path to surpass Fox, to be BETTER THAN FOX. But they must hold their audience until they reach critical mass. The host(s) must be fearless. Our host seemed to be, but the Network, maybe not so much… I realize all this speculation about the future of On Point and Tomi, is just that. She may be back in two weeks, we don’t know yet for sure. It is amazing though, how passionate many of us feel about her.
I really can’t think of any other comment/opinion-ator at this time that I would even bother to post about. Blond Terminator, she’ll be back!

  76. I give Palin 2-3 months before she quits AGAIN.

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:05 pm |

The Trig Truther site will be watching

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 11:07 pm |

It is Trig Truther site losers and GOP establishment fanboys threatened by the existence of Sarah Palin .

    • Since the announcement specifically states Sarah Palin will be guest hosting for a week, a 2-3 month run would be fantastic!

  77. whisperingdan | August 19, 2015 at 9:24 am |

How could OAN possibly dump Tomi !???? Are you REALLY serious? Where can i find her??

  78. No, please, no! Stop trying to be another Fox, and stick to hard news.

  79. Uhhhhh, when I looked for Tomi’s show on Mon at 9pm CST, and saw “Graham Ledger”, I had a gut feeling that she’s pissed off somebody. I suspect it is because she was holding “The Donald” (whom I really like) up to some hard truths. Not sure about that, but if she was “asked” to go, I have lost some respect for OAN, not only because they may have dismissed the best potential talent to come along in a decade (eat your heart out MK!), but OAN doesn’t have balls enough to let the viewers know their decision. If she was dropped, I would have to say they don’t deserve her….
I think she was on her way to building a viewership to challenge the Bloviator himself. Now perhaps that wave has passed, and they seem to be trying to soothe us with reruns for a while.
I like SP also, but if this is not just a temporary situation, some OAN “Executive” should get fired!

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:06 pm |

Sarah Palin is going to be way better than Tomi . Watch . Sarah Palin is the REASON people will watch .

  80. Brenda Butler | August 19, 2015 at 8:10 am |

I do believe the article says Sarah Palin will be a guest host August 24-28th! I love Sarah Palin and look forward to listening to her.

  81. You can see by the responses that we absolutely LOVE our Tomi, and our OAN !! We worry that such a great news source would change format that we are so very happy with as is. I believe this nation hungers for the kind of clarity and honesty that OAN and all of the team on board provides for us. So we worry. Sarah is from my state, Alaska, and although some in the media world enjoy bashing her stand on many points, she does great work and her message is clear. Thank You for the posting opportunity !

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:07 pm |

Sarah Palin is going to be way better than Tomi . Watch . Sarah Palin is the REASON people will watch .

  82. Most likely you’ll see her on fox news shortly!

  83. Love Sarah Palin!! Great combination, Palin and OAN! Good choice!

  84. You’re scraping the bottom of the barrel with Palin as guest host. Just listened to her word salad delivered on Greta tonight. No wonder she never made it in her allegedly chosen career as a newscaster. She can’t link two coherent thoughts together. It’s so easy to tell when she writes her own posts on Facebook, they’re completely incoherent. However, if they are intelligent, well-written, etc. they’ve likely been written by her ghostwriter who is paid by her PAC. I can’t accept anyone as a spokesperson for anything who gives less than 5% of her PAC money to candidates as she said she was going to do. Why should anyone send her $100, $50 or even $10 when only 5% of it will be used for actual candidates? I know many others who have PACs’ do the same but that doesn’t make it right for any of them, especially someone like Palin who has claimed from day one that she’s not wired like other politicians. The joke was on us and we fell for it initially. Some still haven’t woke up.

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:08 pm |

The Left-Wing Lunatic and Trig Truther AKRNHSNC .

    • Well now – SPDS lives on. Word Salad seems to be the deranged leftist sound bite of the day. What’s for dessert – oh yes, frozen hearted references to Trig topped with a special sauce of Bristol smears.

      • This is what it’s like when Sarah Palin appears at a venue that’s supported by an online site, that allows comments. Her fans with their sock puppet accounts flood the comments with insults aimed at people not totally enamored of Palin, with copied-and-pasted screeds about her “accomplishments”, and bleats urging her to run for President.

  85. Please tell us this is a joke, or at the very least it’s only a one week gig.

Tomi is fantastic. Truly “on point”, and an incredible speaker. I was mightily impressed that one so young, could be so intelligent and well spoken, and became an instant fan, linking her youtube vids and sharing them with many.

This Alaskan has zero desire to listen to Palin’s incoherent word salads delivered with her mishmash of weird tonal inflections.
I don’t need to hear anymore of our state’s most Liberal governor pretend she’s a Conservative.

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:09 pm |

Sarah Palin kicks ass will deliver the ratings . She’s a Superstar and a media professional

      • Well, that didn’t take long.
Sarah hasn’t even hosted Tomi’s show one single time yet, and already her paid Palinbots are doing what they do…..spamming a thread, trashing and lying about a beautiful and very talented young show host, while breathlessly chirping about how magnificent their idol is, like the idiot children you are.
You and your little buddy, Kathleen Thompson are shameless, absolutely shameless.

“media professional”? Apparently you think that having social media accounts, ie Facebook and Twitter make one a “media professional?

Go away. Submit your invoice to SarahPac for your “consulting and logistic” services you did on this thread, and then just go away

        • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 11:03 pm |

The Trig Truther site is obsessed with SarahPAC . I never received one penny from Sarah Palin , in fact I think guest hostin OANN is beneath her and a waste of her .

          • I have no idea what your Trig Truther site is that you keep babbling about.
I’m not interested in your Trig Truther site, so stop with the spamming.
You’re obviously a Palin groupie/cultist as your shameless behavior perfectly demonstrates, but contrary to what you may think, that does not give you license to spam everyone’s comments with your childishly breathless and idiotic baloney.

    • moose50th | August 18, 2015 at 9:59 pm |

Please tell us this is a joke, or at the very least it’s only a one week gig.

From the first paragraph of the announcement you’re commenting about:

“Governor Sarah Palin will be guest hosting One America News Network’s political talk show “On Point” the week of August 24th”

Perhaps if you focused on the content of the announcement instead of hastening to share your dyspeptic contempt for an accomplished and heroic Alaskan and American you wouldn’t attract ‘idiot children’ responding to your ill-informed prejudices.

      • Thanks for your concern, but I cannot take seriously someone who calls Sarah “an accomplished and heroic Alaskan”, and who conveniently overlooks that I correctly pointed out that CoolChange80 and KathleenThompson are paid by SarahPAC to troll threads about Sarah.
If you are not aware that Sarah has been paying people to troll threads with about her for several years now, then you are ill-informed, and I am not really interested in your advice.

FYI….I was focused on the content of the announcement. As an Alaskan Conservative, it is my opinion (and I am entitled to it) that OANN is making 2 big mistakes: #1 is letting Tomi Lahren leave, and #2 putting Sarah in her place, even if only for one week.

        • Moose50th ~ You maybe from Alaska, but you don’t speak for me. I love Sarah Palin, and I don’t get paid to post anything about her. Read her books and back off Sarah, you sound like a talking head with air between your ears. Sarah was on last night and did a fantastic job sitting in for Tomi. I think Tomi jumped ship and moved to Fox News. She was a guest on Fox about 2 weeks ago on the Morning Show. I don’t think Sarah is going to permanently take over the “On Point” show, I believe OAN is looking for a replacement however. Vote Donald Trump 2016

          • Sandra, you’re right, I am in Alaska. But I never said I speak for you, I speak for myself and many other Alaskans…..not all, but many.
I also never said you get paid to post about her….unless you’re Kathleen Thompson or CoolChange80 coming back here under a different name.
I am not a “talking head”. I am a Conservative in Alaska, who has been watching the Sarah circus since before you even knew who she was.

FYI….I don’t take orders from commenters on the internet, so don’t hold your breath on me backing off. I know what I know, and I will always tell the truth, even if people like yourself don’t want to hear it.

She is only a Conservative when she’s out of the state, and seeking publicity….when she’s here, not so much.
You probably don’t know that just last November, she was totally on the Democrats side on the two biggest issues in our state election. That is not my opinion, it is cold hard fact.
She joined the Democrat Party, Mark Begich, and the labor unions in endorsing the Socialist for governor. He won, and is currently expanding Medicaid by doing an Obama-like end run around our state Republican majority legislature. He’s also trying to collectivize a future gas line by getting the state to have a majority ownership. He campaigned on these issues, so don’t try and say she didn’t know what she was endorsing….she knew.
She also campaigned along with the Democrats on the oil tax bill on the ballot, that thankfully was defeated.

Learn a little before telling me to “back off”. I love my state, and don’t enjoy seeing it destroyed by Liberals/Socialists.

  86. Tomi left. She sent out a tweet thanking the network for the last year, but she is moving on. Sad. Palin will ruin it with her argle bargle word salad. She hasn’t held office or run for office since 2009 when she quit as Governor. The 2012 GOP wouldn’t even invite her to their convention. Why choose her as a guest host? Free labor? We want Tomi!!

  87. Carol Mefford | August 18, 2015 at 9:16 pm |

Where is Tomi Lahren?? I hope you have not removed her from On Point. She is great to listen to–so intelligent and a great talker. Great to listen to this young person. I think she can handle subject that comes her way and has certainly had some facinating talks with her guests. From 2 San Diego seniors.

  88. I just asked the network what the heck is going on. It’s shame if she is not coming back.

  89. Ken coldwater | August 18, 2015 at 8:43 pm |

I have seen Tomi a few times and the August 18th passionate talk with Marine, she is great. I went to email her about her hard hitting passionate delivery, and it looks like you may have dropped a Her!! That’s disturbing if true. I’m sure u need more viewership, but I’ll predict she will be a star wherever she lands. Keep punching Tomi!! Looking forward to seeing u soon! KW

  90. Then why can’t you bring up her name? Why is she not on tonight or tomorrow night?

  91. thesepeopleomg | August 18, 2015 at 6:48 pm |

Half of you don’t grasp that it’s a temporary gig? One week! Says so right there. Do you comprehend the other news you read any better?

    • Chad Eiermann | August 18, 2015 at 7:43 pm |

What I grasp is Tomi is gone this week without notice and my cable guide does not even list her re-run shows that have been on the last two days(even though they are running them in the same time slot) In addition, there has been no reply from inquiries by several about it.
To answer your question–no. “Other news” from other news outlets in my opinion is filtered crap. The issues that concern me and the passionate way Tomi discusses them is what interest, motivates. and informs me. If not for Tomi, I wouldn’t know OAN exist. I hope you are right–no pun intended….

    • Then why is she not on this week?

  92. Greg Schreve | August 18, 2015 at 6:15 pm |

Palin as a host is a terrible idea. I’m guessing Tomi is gone. Her last sign off was rather cryptic. You would think the network would issue a statement.

  93. Ron Stevenot | August 18, 2015 at 5:47 pm |

Is Tomi Lahren being replaced?. Sarah Palin will not come close to Lahren. If she is being replaced is it because she has brought truth and honesty and exposes the corruption in our government?

    • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:16 pm |

Ron , Are you even familiar with Sarah Palin ‘s record . Tomi Lahren is a blond hack . Sarah Palin actually cleaned up Alaska . Wake up , you dummy .

  94. I love your show . God bless

  95. Diane Thilmont | August 18, 2015 at 4:23 pm |

I look forward with much anticipation to watch Sarah’s show. Also, I am happy to have found a network that espouses conservative thought.

  96. Where is Tomi? On vacation?

    • Chad Eiermann | August 18, 2015 at 5:32 pm |

Not a Sarah Palin hater by no means but if Tomi Lahren is being replaced by Palin–goodbye O.A.N.
      Dear Tomi,
I pray this message finds you. Please keep your followers informed as to where we can continue viewing and listening to you.

      • With Tomi’s obvious dislike for Trump. She is probably trying to get on at Fox.

        • CoolChange80 | August 19, 2015 at 8:35 pm |

Sarah Palin is a Conservative . Tomi is just another blonde talking head that shilled for the establishment

          • Tomi will be followed by her fans and cost this network more viewers than Sarah will bring. You’re probably the network idiot responsible for the change judging by your snide comments and your name calling.

    • I hope Tomi Lahren is only on Vacation. She is very good for a 23 year old young Lady. Gov. Palin might have more Experience but she is in a way like POTUS she is a divider, she does not bring people together.

  97. The ratings will go through the roof with Governor Palin as guest host. Looking forward to it. Thank you!

  98. Bren Pool Vignaroli | August 18, 2015 at 3:24 pm |

Been waiting for this!! GREAT CHOICE by OANN!!

  99. Well, this should be fun(ny).
