President Trump’s former campaign aide, George Papadopoulos who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, is set to speak with House investigators on October 25th.
The closed door voluntary interview is expected to focus on the Russia investigation as well as the FBI’s handling of the investigation.
The former campaign adviser was charged with lying to the FBI about his contacts with individuals tied to Russia during the 2016 Presidential campaign, but has denied any collusion.
The attempt to discredit my wife and I before my testimony on capitol hill has reached a fever pitch. Someone is nervous. I think America was smart enough to realize that someone who has never knowingly met a Russian official in their life never could have colluded. Fake news.

His lawyer, Caroline Polisi said he is still in talks with other congressional committees regarding providing testimony; however, his main focus in the meantime is to testify to the House panels.
