Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage said no deal is the best deal and the only acceptable deal while speaking out on the U.K.’s impending exit from the EU. He made the comment at an event in London Tuesday, where he also called a no-deal Brexit a “clean break Brexit.” This would make the U.K. an independent and sovereign democratic nation.

Farage also warned U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson the Brexit Party will run for every seat in parliament if he “insists” on the withdrawal agreement. However, Farage also suggested the party will back the prime minister’s Conservative Party in a general election if it were the only way to achieve a no-deal Brexit.

”If the only means of achieving that was calling a general election, which I frankly suspect it would be, in those circumstances if Boris Johnson is prepared to do the right thing to win our independence then we are prepared to do the right thing,” said the Brexit Party leader. “And we would put country before party, and we would do it every time, we do it every time.”

Farage also said their will not be a genuine Brexit without the Brexit Party’s involvement.
