The White House is looking at ways to pressure Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to revisit repealing and replacing Obamacare next month.
Sources say no one in the west wing is ready to give up on health care reform, and everyone is pushing for a bill that works.
Officials may be looking at the reconciliation rule again, which expires at the end of September.
Much like the previous vote, it will allow the majority to pass legislation without a Democrat filibuster.
However, McConnell says he plans to move away from Obamacare repeal and begin work on other legislation.
This comes as the Senate Health Committee is preparing for meetings next month.
