Turkey Deploys More Troops on Syrian Border

Turkey’s forces’ tanks and vehicles hold positions close to the border with Syria, near the town of Reyhanli, Turkey, Monday, Oct. 9, 2017. Turkey continues to increase its military presence on the western part of the Syrian border.

The Turkish military has deployed additional armored cars and military personnel near the city of Ogulpinar, which is located near Aleppo.

Turkey claims the move will help stave-off threats towards its territory.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan says his country is ready for a military operation in Syria, and is looking to help the Free Syrian Army.

“We are in constant touch with our friends at the front line,” said Erdogan. “We are receiving continuous information regarding what is happening (on the ground)…We follow the developments step by step and hope it will end well.”

Turkey, Russia, and Iran signed a deal to establish so-called de-escalation zones in Syria previously, one of which would include the city of Idlib.

The Turkish army sat on the border while ISIS pillaged Syria and Iraq – massacring Yazidis and Christians, killing Assad’s soldiers, and Kurds of all nationalities. Erdogan firmly believes that anyone who kills Kurds or hurts Assad is not to be interfered with – no matter what other atrocities they commit.
To be fair, Obama also sat on his hands while the “JV Team” established a Caliphate.

” All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do NOTHING.”

Of course the “good men” part pretty much leaves Obama and Erdogan off the menu.
