The Trump administration honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during a wreath laying ceremony at the civil rights leader’s memorial in Washington.
On Monday, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke joined the King family for the commemoration of the Reverend’s memory.
Dr. King’s eldest living son then spoke to crowd about his late father.
“All over our nation, and really throughout our world, the question becomes what will we do as communities across America to fulfill and envision and make the dream become a reality, said Martin Luther King III, the eldest living son of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. “I’m not here to talk about what has not happened because we know what has not happened, but what I’m here to do is look to the future, to figure out how we as a nation can come together as the nation we always have been.”
The son of Dr. King also said he and his family will honor the 50th commemoration of his father’s assassination on April 4th.
