Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said he will not run for reelection as the leader of the city.
President Trump continues to call out alleged corruption in the Obama-era Justice Department, citing a statement from a political commentator. On Twitter Saturday, the president quoted radio host Dan Bongino, saying the Trump-Russia dossier that was paid for the Clinton team was fake and nothing has been verified. The president continued to echo Bongino’s remarks, saying the FISA court did not hold a hearing, violating his 4th amendment rights.
A federal judge in Texas denies the state’s attempt to invalidate the DACA program, citing a processing error on the part of the plaintiffs. District judge Andrew Hanen made the decision Friday, saying the state had waited too long to file the suit.
Details continue to emerge about possible FISA abuses by Obama-era officials as we now know the FBI leaked information to the media, then used those stories to file for spy warrants.
