The Supreme Court turns down an appeal from Osama Bin Laden’s former propagandist.

On Tuesday, the court declined to review the case of Ali Hamza Al-Bahlul who is a propagandist for the terror group Al-Qaeda and apparent media aide for Osama Bin Laden.

A military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay convicted Bahlul of conspiracy in 2008, and sentenced him to life in prison at the facility.

Legal experts and civil rights groups had called upon the court to hear the case, saying it raised constitutional issues about the federal rights of detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

There are 41 war prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay to date, and Bahlul is the only one who has yet to be sentenced.

    What “federal rights”?

  • SSgt. J D. Herrington

I’ll have to agree. Our Constitution was written for Americans. Don’t worry hadji, allah will take you soon, hopefully.

    • Bud

Then he will be entitled to his 72 virgin male piglets.

      • Tim maher

Oink, oink! Poor piglets. Can you imagine how bad a jihadist must smell?

  • MikeInSATX

he’s considered an “illegal combatant” according to the laws of war and the Geneva Conventions. Which means he’s only subject to the rules of a military tribunal. No constitutional rights.

  • jenshadus

Uh, he’s not a citizen. He doesn’t have constitutional rights.

    • Heremeroor

…with this administration. With the previous Admin, the Jihadeests and delinquents had more “rights” than the actual US citizens…or so it seemed.

  • Tim maher

Good for them. Foreign terrorists have no “constitutional rights.” I hope they have him turning boulders into pea gravel for road construction. Good idea on the BLT too.

    • PGCDan

You’d think from the cries of the leftists, that they were pulling fingernails and lashing them with the whip at Gitmo.

      • Tim maher

They would sure have us believe that if we were gullible enough to accept their propaganda. Truth is rarely a requirement for them.

        • PGCDan

They just enjoy hearing their own self-righteousness.

          • Tim maher

            How true

  • Rosicrucian32

Give him a BLT and tell him to STFU.

    • Tim maher

      Good one!
