AG Sessions Calls Collusion Queries ‘Appalling’ and ‘Detestable Lies’

OAN Newsroom

Attorney General Jeff Sessions wraps up a day of testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.

The highly anticipated hearing on Capitol Hill focused heavily on alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Sessions said he had nothing to do with any alleged interference efforts.

The attorney general strongly rebuked allegations that he lied under oath in a prior testimony, or tried to collude with the Russian government.

After he rejected the claims of perjury against him, he said he — quote — “always told the truth.”

Sessions appeared before the House Judiciary Committee, tackling questions relating to former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos having contact with alleged Russian authorities during the 2016 campaign.

He said he pushed back against the former adviser over his alleged Russian contacts.

“I wanted to make clear to him that he was not authorized to represent the campaign with the Russian government or any other foreign government for that matter,” Sessions stated.

The attorney general also said the DOJ is conducting 27 investigations involving classified leaks, saying it has reached — quote — “epidemic proportions.”

Sessions was later questioned by GOP Representative Jim Jordan, who recently called for a second special counsel to investigate former FBI Director James Comey on a basis of conflict of interest with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Sessions said more facts would need to come to light, but opened the door for an appointment of special counsel.

The attorney general has called on his department to investigate the Obama-era Uranium One Deal and the Clinton Foundation.

In a letter Monday, he directed senior federal prosecutors to look into the sale of Uranium One, unlawful dealings of the Clinton Foundation, and James Comey’s handling of the Clinton email probe and dossier.

  • MUSLIMANIA

Sessions is literally RIDICULOUS…. “worthy of ridicule”…. in preserving the DOUBLE STANDARD that the left has created for the CORRUPT Clintons.
The MOUNTAIN of evidence against that slimey family is OVERWHELMING.
THEY SHOULD ALL BE IN PRISON.

  • ginjit.dw

If by facts, sessions means a confession, he may have a long wait, but there are computers, with hard drives, emails, witnesses etc….but he ain’t interested…he rather say he doesn’t recall…

  • veryoldcop

I have know Sessions since he was the US Attorney for the southern district in Alabama. I have never found him to be dishonest in any of his activities. I realize he is having to work within a framework still staffed to a large degree with Obama/Lynch holdovers and I suspect that presents significant problems.

  • Deplorable Phytomorphogenesis

sessions, it is time for you to go and depart quickly. You FAKE your loyalty to President Trump.
You are in for the position to defend the crooked C.

  • Fred Jones

To the surprise of many, Jeff Sessions was among the first DC long-time politician to endorse and then join Trump during the campaign.

It is pretty clear, now, that he was a mole. He is NOT attempting to clear the swamp. He has NOT busted one of these illegal leakers in the ‘deep state.’ He is NOT going to go after the Clintons. He is NOT going to go after Obozo.

He gained Trump’s trust, and now he’s burning him…

    • nfcapitalist

Looks like everyone in DC is on the Clinton Foundation “blackmail” list… what would we see if that list were made public?

The (not our) intelligence community are covering up the cover-up.

  • kaiju

    Your the leader.

    • dskap201

I can tell you that if I were AG….I would be on this with justice on my mind and America’s future and what it would be if I failed and just let it pass.
Too many have fought and died for what we have and that includes an honest, fair and blind justice system that treats everyone the same no matter who you are, where you came from or whom you know.
      Stay well!

      • kaiju

I’ll agree to that. I sure do hope there is a whole lot of good things going on at the DOJ that we don’t know about. Sessions says 27 investigations into leaks alone. Just have to take issue with too much complaining towards the guys that are in there trying to straighten out the wreck the BHO left them. This is something you won’t ever see the Dems doing. They will support their people no matter what and unfortunately that gives them great strength.

  • aldoro

It’s about damn time. Way overdue. And about time sessions grew some balls.

  • A marcus Young

James Coney is definitely the most serious of allk these investigations. When you exonerate someone before you investigate them, you have collusion.

    • Fred Jones

      obstruction of justice… it’s a felony…

      • nfcapitalist

FBI committing crimes galore… obstruction of justice, destroying evidence, and covering up their cover-up… treason?

  • darrell wall

Trump should fire him as the Attorney General, replace Moore with him, and make Rudy Guiliani the new Attorney General.

  • Mountainhiker

“Uranium One Deal and the Clinton Foundation”, these two issues must be addressed. The more we learn about the “foundation”, it sound like the largest international money laundering operation in history backed by a democratic party that has taken corruption to greater heights than ever before.

    • nfcapitalist

Treason for money and power… and the Obama appointees in leadership positions of the intelligence community covering up the cover-up…. stinks from the head down.

  • nfcapitalist

Any wonder why we are confused when AG Sessions doesn’t see the disease that has infected what was America’s great intelligence community… the DOJ and FBI should be investigated to expose who obstructed justice then the NSA and CIA to expose who is ignoring treason in the political establishment while tracking dissenting conservatives instead of communists… confusing and concerning.

    • Fred Jones

the ‘deep state’ is VERY problematic… it will be very difficult to drain the swamp when the drainers are swamp creatures…

  • jenshadus

He seems to be a laggard about a lot of things: Clinton to name one.

  • C B

    Progress is Progress ……………. Book’em Danno !

  • MJABRTDK

The entire country knows that Obama, Holder, Clinton’s, Lynch & Comey are corrupt to the bone … Looks like AG Sessions and company have been gathering all the evidence they’ll need to go after the Swamp.

    • Fred Jones

      won’t happen… Sessions is protecting the swamp…

  • Slowpoke

    Mr. Sessions: bring it.

  • kinijane

That session was a pure witch hunt by the dems…..but if the AG does not want to do his job then he needs to go. As far as I can tell hes done nothing to restore faith in the DOJ or FBI.

  • bucketnutz

It has to be really frustrating to be called a Liar by the Biggest Liars in the Government.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Americans must come together amidst the occasional violence, divisiveness, and hate.

  • mrapp769

My friends you don’t get it. Sessions is part of the club. And the club does not investigate it’s members. Knowing what we know about Mueller and Comey – both ought be in jail now. What Trump represents to me is a hammer smashing the false gods of our rigged and sick political system. The mistake Trump has made is hiring political establishment people. He should have appointed a Giuliani or Chris Christie as attorney general and really have at it.

    • Fred Jones

      great post!

been saying the SAME thing. Trump has great intentions, but his first mistake was to hire ANYBODY who had been in DC before he got elected! A lot of the blame for these hirings go to the Kushners – who seem to love everything ‘establishment.’

  • Tado

    Congress.
    A farce.

  • Christopher Binkowski

And General Sessions was right to do so.

The Democrats were an embarrassment to their office. As usual.

  • Roger Cordi

The Democrats and Mainstream Media like to falsely claim collusion with the Russians and President Trump, but now the tables are turning on The Clinton Foundation, The Democrats and The Mainstream media to fall sucker to their claims. It is about time the investigation is started against them for a change. They are now trying to claim President Trump is now going after a Political Opponent, when in fact Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party, Democrats, Liberals and Mainstream Media are the ones that started going after a Political Opponent for just about a year now relentlessly. Talk about the pot calling the kettle over a campfire black! They are noting but a bunch of Hippocrates. Lets keep voting out all of the democrats that we can.

  • Scott Snerd

Too much money….too many deals….too much bullshit….too many lobbyists….too many leftist communist libutrd idiots…..

  • Pezgun

Overt investigations – public ones, are inherently political when the subjects of them are.
Covert investigations are inherently not political regardless of the person or persons of interest because the public doesn’t even know about them.
In this case, what should we expect a competent AG to do? Somehow, sacricing the effectivness of ongoing investigations in order to assuage public opinion doesn’t seem to fit.

  • Cavalls

It has become apparent that far too many people take these congressional dog-and-pony shows seriously.
Hearings are opportunities for members of congress to get some national news coverage and political parties to score some points with their bases.
So we all watch millions of dollars and thousands of man hours wasted on these farces so Congress can either ignore real issues or make deals to about them in secret, out of camera and microphone range.

    • Al Lejdly

“congressional dog-and-pony shows”. Beat me to it. They are artists at window dressing to make us think they are actually doing something for us.

  • LFMazzuckelli

Ever see a duck swim ———- every thing on the surface is calm and serene but under water where you can’t see what’s going on the activity is furious.

  • dskap201

Corrupt and crooked Comey has nothing on this guy Sessions!
    Two peas in a pod.
What a disappointment and total failure!

  • 48vince

Sessions also expressed concerns about “politicizing the Justice Department”. So in other words, prosecuting or investigating a politically prominent individual amounts to “politicizing the Justice Department” – no matter how blatantly corrupt and notorious that individual may be? Very convenient excuse for doing absolutely nothing! We need a less fastidious AG who is more concerned with real justice, and not with any appearance of political gamesmanship.

    • Al Lejdly

I think his biggest concern is committing suicide in the near future or becoming a victim of a botched robbery.

  • PatrickJ

These two sites. Newsmax. One America News. Fox maybe. Not holding my breath. All we have left between us and outright Communism is just a few sites. Breitbart of course. That’s pretty much the whole ball of wax. The mainstream is already there. They already bought the program.

    Are you ready for this?

  • BootIllegals

Fire Sessions. Replace him with Jim Jordan or Kris Kobach.

  • PatrickJ

I read an article recently I thought interesting. Because of the way that social media and the internet have taken over the way information is distributed, the politicians themselves, and not just Trump, have begun to follow the conversations that you and I produce on the various sites out there.

From the standpoint of the Democrats, the most important sites are, guess what? One America News, Newsmax and Fox. According to what I have been able to read on the issue, most politicians are keenly interested in these discussions we have each evening. Who woulda thought?

So I guess they really do want to know what we think. Not because they want to include what we think into their planning for the future of America. No, not that exactly. Please understand, From their perspective, we are the worst thing out there. But they are nonetheless monitoring our conversations, in order to see where we are going, and using the information they gather to improve their ability to thwart anything we have in mind to keep them from doing what they want to do. Or something like that. Whatever.

    • Al Lejdly

I would say you need to fine tune your Tin Foil Hat if your observation wasn’t so darn true.

  • Fancypants

It’s called “slow walking”. He has to go now.

  • DrSheilahere

“Always Told the Truth.” LOL. No one always tells the truth. Every, single, person in Congress has to lie to cover their ass. You all– all– except for the few new members– have lied, cheated, gotten rich, bleeding your power dry to your advantage. No one in this world would believe YOU ALWAYS TOLD THE TRUTH.’
Do not say anything that stupid.

  • JD

Sessions needs to leave. He is a slug who seems to be afraid of his own shadow. I don’t understand why,( with all the evidence that the public knows as well as what has been hidden from us) there are not charges filed against Hillary Clinton, Comey, Obama, the Podesta Brothers, just to name a few.
Unless he is a crafty SOB and his little meek recusing ass is just a ploy to make guilty parties feel safe and then he will drop the bomb on their heads. Doubtful, but trying to feel more optimistic.

  • a voice of concern

lets see, if TRUMP fires sessions, rosenstien, muler and the twerps at the FBI the only left to appoint a special council would be……….TRUMP!

  • a voice of concern

The single question I want to ask Sessions is why in the hell he appointed Rosenstein as deputy AG when he KNEW this guy was involved in the Oama/Clintin corruption and KNEW he would block an investigation into the last 16 years of garbage.

  • PatrickJ

This thread is getting old, but I guess it’s still on life support. When the comments are posted as an hour ago, you know you’re pretty much talking to two or three people, if that.

Still, you never know where wisdom will come from. I have often given up on threads before, only to find a new comment of interest that came out of nowhere. It happens.

    I’ll stick around for awhile.

  • fatboy46

ok.. then DO SOMETHING besides whine about it..

    • PatrickJ

Was that comment directed at me, fatboy?

  • Roy Beane

And just guess who received Sessions’ letter to “look into the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One deal”, hmmmm? None other than Deputy AG Rosenstein, who is up to his eyeballs involved in the latter for sure, and maybe even the former as well. Like putting the fox in charge of the henhouse and expecting nothing bad to happen. Those deep staters inside the DOJ will MAKE SURE this lead balloon never leaves the ground. DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB. Mr. Sessions, you gotta GO NOW. RESIGN NOW.

  • seegul

It has been known for generations that liberals are liars while Sessions is a man of integrity. Liberals have no idea what integrity means.

  • Deployable

There is nothing stopping him from investigating Hillary. At what point does he get emotionally involved?

  • ray

I might be a minority here .. but I think Sessions is doing a good job. He is not anyone’s puppet. Sessions has integrety.

The people that held his job before him, were grandstands, politicians, playing to the public while the agency went rouge. Sessions has a tough job … bringing integrity back to the DOJ … and upholding the laws Congress writes. Those before him under Clinton, Bush and Obama … played politics … did what they felt was best for their career under who ever was in power. Sessions is the FIRST man in a long time … that WILL do his job come hell or high water. Immigration, sanctuary cities …. you may not notice but he is ontop of these and moving it all in the right direction.

Does Trump dislike him? I sincerely doubt it! If there is anyone that Trump trusts .. it IS .. Sessions. If you see something in tweet that appears to be a jab at Sessions (from Trump) … just keep in mind that the magician uses distraction … ‘watch my left hand’ while what he is REALLY doing is with his right hand. Sessions knows he is safe and Trump knows he is safe – cause he WILL do his job.

  • David Wolf

And, of course, there was the always dependable race-hustler, clueless Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, trying her best to continue with her attempt toward character assasination with AG Sessions. How oxy-moronic for her to hold up a copy of the U.S. Constitution only to ask AG Sessions in a most condescending manner if he’d ever read it. I’m telling ya, I just wanted to slap that ignorant dolt.

  • An_A_C

Sessions needs to focus on cleaning out the cesspit that is the DoJ. He has a lot to do after eight years of the Obama administration hiring the most leftist, partisan lawyers around for the department. It really needs to be done because there’s plenty of evidence that they have acted unfairly and dishonestly, from voting rights issues to the IRS harrassment to Operation Fast and Furious and countless other crimes.

  • Jimbo

Another round of bullying democrats posturing in front of the camera’s. Sessions should not have to testify again until these clowns show actual and verifiable evidence for the left wing accusations.

    • tedlv

I gave up on the dog and pony show after a few minutes. It’s never about an investigation, it’s all about face time on camera.

  • MIke 54

Sessions can’t even answer a question without stumbling all over himself. He is way out of hie league as AG and needs to be replaced. Maybe the big announcement when Trump gets back is he will replace the AG. We can only hope. He didn’t even vet the Deputy AG before giving him that position. How dumb when dealing with people in the swamp.

  • No Mas

Now we can move along to the real Russia corruption with Uranium One and the Clintons, Obama giving away American blood for cash!

  • Sui-Juris

“… the attorney general has called on his department to investigate the Obama-era Uranium One deal and the Clinton Foundation, paving the way for a possible special counsel.”

Which is why there is “a claim of perjury against him”.

Muddy the waters with more of the same “Blame Trump and or the Trump admin for Obama admin, Clinton Foundation, Hillary Clinton, Podesta Russian collusion.

  • nfcapitalist

I think it’s obvious the Democrats are America hating communists hiding under those long run on sentences that leave us wondering what or where the question was in their word salad… condemning, accusing, and sputtering contempt when Sessions tries to answer.

Not sure what Democrats, progressives, liberals want, they never have an answer to that question… stammering and deflection, communists… the best trick Nikita Krushev ever played was convincing Americans they no longer exist.

Americans want freedom from oppressive government, equal justice for all which guarantee law will not be used as a weapon such as seen with Lois Lerner and on the other hand treason for profit ignored but a US Navy submariner imprisoned for images of his work station taking pride in his service to his country.

  • westriversd1

Why does it seem we only get headlines on what the Dims ask Sessions? I see absolutely no progress from this session with Sessions.

    • Jack Steffen

What the Dems are doing is for political show. What Sessions is doing is real, therefore it’s treated like a real investigation, IOW you don’t go to the media every day with it.

  • Jacobeo500

Why all this foot dragging on the part of Republican Sessions? I don’t for one moment believe that if the Democrats had this much adverse material on any Republican, that they would be pussy-footing around. Articles of impeachment would have already been served without the use of any special counsel. Just look at what they are doing against Trump and his Republican administration without a single shred of evidence.
Investigate the Clintons and the Obamas as well! If Killary Clinton and her husband received $145 million for betraying their country to the Russians, How much more was Obama’s bribe? How much did Obama get? I am sure that that mercenary got his cut as well.

    • Jacobeo500

      Follow the money trail.

  • Tim

Sessions did not want to go after previous administration because he did not want to appear politically motivated. This is nonsense and needs to be addressed.

    • Vera Orsova

When the criminals are prominent political figures and members of the highest governmental circuit, the investigation will be political. I think Jeff was either paid a nice, tidy sum of $$$ to not prosecute, or he is a part of the swamp and is afraid of being flushed out. Or both.

  • Too_Late_4_America

Sessions says there is no reason to doubt Roy Moore’s accusers. Forget that there is no proof. Forget they only showed up this late after 40 years (and all at once!). Forget that this latest accuser was crying while telling what he did to her ……. but she had to read all the details because she couldn’t “remember” the details.

Forget that Sessions is in the hot seat and desperately needs a deflection. Forget all that and what do you get? Unsubstantiated B.S. Moore is an outsider just like Trump is, so naturally all the establishment wants him out of the picture.

Talk about political collusion and corruption! We need a citizen’s revolt against D.C. – to get rid of ALL politicians who have been there over 1 term!!!!

What I Do want to Know is Who SCARES or threatens/blackmails these people in our Government that Much ? Are 75% of them Actually Criminals ? Sessions knows the President is not happy with his “performance”, so just the wake of his return from Asia, Sessions wakes up and pretends to do something. He announces that he will “evaluate” the U1 deal and “will look into” Clinton Foundation. Many months later, he will re-emerge from the swamp to announce that “there is nothing there”, U1 deal was a standard government business, Clinton’s are white as lilies, and let’s focus on Trump’s collusion with Russia investigation. He is just trying to keep his job, not to aggravate his puppet masters and make sure the President doesn’t notice he is swimming with the rest of the swamp creatures.

Yeah right…..MAYBE something positive will happen with this. But Sessions has already made a serious mistake by allowing Deputy AG Rosenstein to look this over before deciding on whether to proceed or not. Both Rosenstein and Mueller are a part of the problem and may even be implicated themselves up to their eyeballs in this mess. Wouldn’t be surprising if Rosenstein torpedoes the whole thing before it even gets started, which is how the deep staters always protect themselves and their cronies. ABOUT TIME!!!

  • ar05076

Nothing will come of it, of course, but Sessions will be able say he ‘evaluated’ it …!!

    • sanman99

Can you look into your crystal ball and give me next weeks lottery #’s!!!!!

      • miikiki

I can! You are not going to win. Trust me, you are not going to win.

        • Tony

          Ha, ha..good one;)

      • miikiki

How many times does it take for you to chase after the ball and not find it before you realize it was never thrown. It was just a trick to get your attention off something else?

      • Vinnie DiNicola

ar05076 is right, this is pure window dressing to make the appearance they are doing something. Political elites protect other political elites on both and opposite sides of the aisle. They’ll investigate this and over time it will just wined down to nothing.

    • Vera Orsova

and maybe save his job. President Trump should seriously look into his “performance.

  • 8152

This may well drain the swamp. Hillary greased everyone in Congress to get this deal done and she hopes it will keep her safe. It may have been the best/worst thing any politician has ever done for this country!

    • miikiki

The DCC turds will never ever in any instance flush their own bowl. Time to bring in someone from the outside with a sewer pump.
The problem with trying to vote them out is that elections are not held all at the same time throughout the entire country. Between elections any tidy bowl added becomes corrupted by the old feces still floating in the bowl.

      • Vera Orsova

And, when an election comes up, Democraps will lie and cheat to steal it, the way they stole VA and are now sabotaging Alabama. As long as there are Clintons, Soros and Obama in the picture, we will never have a true, democratic elections again.

    • nfcapitalist

Blackmail is the weapon of choice… Behavioural Science at work, that Orwellian world of 1984.

  • miikiki

Just a little chicken dance from the puffed up fowl to keep the unwashed masses happy. This too will blow over in time when the audience has fallen asleep from the lack of action taken by the DCC swamp actors.

    • sanman99

      How did that taste?

    • nfcapitalist

The ‘unwashed masses’… that’s your view of our citizens… who are you?

      • miikiki

A citizen that knows how the elites in DCC view us. You think they are worried about what you think???

        • nfcapitalist

Got it… might make your contextual connections more carefully.

          • miikiki

Sorry I was not clear. Just a bit frustrated as I have been watching this show for over 63 years and the end is always the same. Would love to see it switched up a little before my show ends.

          • Vera Orsova

The swamp will not allow the unwashed masses to see the true. Look at what they are doing to Alabama. Lying and cheating to steal the election and to get their democrap candidate to represent AL in the Senate. Sessions is one of the elite. Don’t make any mistake about it and don’t think he will go against them.

  • Peter789

It took a year for them to simply start talking about an investigation. Probably be another year to actually start it. And another 4 years to complete it.

    • miikiki

And the outcome will be? Absolutely nothing. This is buying time until someone calls out “Squirrel!” to get the masses attention on something else they will do nothing about. It is entertainment government brought to you by the DCC swamp rats.

      • Vera Orsova

100% agree. This is what I posted a few minutes ago:
Sessions knows the President is not happy with his “performance”, so just in the wake of his return from Asia, Sessions wakes up and pretends to do something.

  • anotherday

If we are to investigate Trump for Russian collusion, it seems only fair to investigate Clinton on what appears to be a sweet deal for the Clinton Foundation and not so much for the US.

    • miikiki

Investigate away, but don’t get your hopes up. The Clinton’s have too much dirt on each and every swamp rat in DCC.

      • nfcapitalist

Got it… and yes, it’s Blackmail, plane and simple blackmail.

      • anotherday

A special counsel is better than some half-wit congressman.

        • miikiki

A special counsel made up of who? A group like the special council made up of Clinton cronies to investigate the Russia collusion? Where does this impartial, honest special council come from?

          • anotherday

            Hire a Russian.

          • miikiki

lol, might not be a bad idea!

  • PatrickJ

“The announcement comes after Representatives Jim Jordan and Matt Gaetz delivered an ultimatum to the attorney general, telling him to launch an investigation or resign so they can appoint someone who will.”

Why did it take an ultimatum from two Representatives for Sessions to act? The whole world has known about this for some time. I think the President should just replace him with Rudy Guiliani and be done with it.

    • USA#1

Rudy would be just the right guy

      • nfcapitalist

Trey Gowdy… only one of a handful of politician I would trust.

        • miikiki

Not even that sure about him anymore. He does put on a good show, lots of bravado, but his endings are just a little sad.

          • PatrickJ

Yeah, I kinda thought the same thing.

          • Corky Romano

          • JustmJustm

            Shaekspeare

          • DMH

Congress can investigate til the cows come home, but even Trey Gowdy said in an interview several years ago that it is up to the Executive branch (DOJ) to actually prosecute. Gowdy’s job is to bring these issues to light; he can’t prosecute as a part of the Legislative branch. Separation of branches… Legislature makes laws, Executive enforces them, and Judicial judges them.

        • kaiju

Rudy didn’t want this job and Gowdy didn’t either. Do you really think anyone can just step into the DOJ after eight years of BHO appointments and start throwing people in jail on day one. You have no idea what Sessions is battling.

          • Corky Romano

there is nothing stopping Sessions from booting every single obama appointee and starting over.

          • kaiju

He may not have anyone left. Remember the Terrorist in Chief was president for eight years. I suppose you know who all the good guys and bad guys are?

          • Corky Romano

Nice sanctimonious answer. I don’t claim to know. He, of all people, should know who was appointed by obama – if they are still there – get rid of them.

          • kaiju

Well talk is cheap. It’s easy to be an armchair quarterback.

          • JustmJustm

            You are absolutely right!
But him recusing him self, did a lot of damege, to him!
But if he is ready to trash BHO appoitees i will be the garbige man for a while……

          • dskap201

            Stop making excuses!
What is so hard about appointing a Special Council to look into Hillary’s dealings?
Session is compromised and he MUST GO NOW!
I have done a 180 on him and deservedly so!
Give him the boot Mr. President!

          • kaiju

Sounds easy doesn’t it, just open an investigation that involves hundreds of criminals at the highest levels of government, possible murders for hire, high treason, money laundering, election fraud, sex crimes, terrorism, bribery, on, and on. I hope it does happen and I’ll be just as happy as you are to see Hillary and Obama nailed to a cross.

          • kaiju

I liked the way he talked too, but talk is all it amounted to.

        • No Mas

Gowdy puts on a fairly good show but his outrage stopped at accusing the FBI and DOJ at approving the destruction of felony criminal evidence against Clintons.. Servers, phones, emails,. etc… SO I DONT TRUST GOWDY EITHER!

        • Disgusted Caucasian

Gowdy has been on record that he like it where he is.

      • Disgusted Caucasian

        Even though he’s anti 2A?

        • USA#1

          Not true.

      • Too_Late_4_America

They don’t want someone like Rudy who WILL go after her. This is all political games and what they want is to go thru the motions so voters will think they are doing something.

I mean ….. why would they want to convict one of their own in reality?

        • USA#1

That’s precisely why Rudy IS THE GUY

      • JustmJustm

        Yes

    • Clinicaleducator1

Rudy didn’t want the job. He wanted Secretary of State. The confirmation through Congress was to be brutal. Sessions wanted the job and got the job. He certainly is qualified but does NOT have that bulldog quality needed to get this job done. We will see. Perhaps Christie. He is hated like all the rest but definitely speaks his mind, wanted the job and would work tirelessly to put HRC and her band of outlaws in a cage!!

      • PatrickJ

        Works for me.

      • Capt JD

I think he is avoiding the MSM and Rhinos coming after him. Judge Moore is the Lib Strategy and listen to Cruz who is now on bandwagon with Rhinos.

        • Too_Late_4_America

Cruz has learned very quickly how to disregard honesty and be a politician.

          It was pretty bad⬇️

      • Vera Orsova

Not only Sessions does not have the quality and courage to go after the Clintons, he has no intention to do so, either. He is either paid by Soros to lay off, or Hillary has some serious dirt on him. One way or another, Sessions never planned to do anything about U1, the Clinton Foundation, or Hillary’s emails.

        • TexasDeplorable1134

Honestly, I believe he is afraid of the Clinton machine.

    • Janet Lowe

I think Session will still need to leave. If it took this long to move forward I think he will still stall and not really go after the issues.

      • PatrickJ

        You could be right.

        • Vera Orsova

I do believe she is absolutely right. Sessions is trying to keep his job, appease the President, and swim with the swam, all at once. I hope he will get eaten by a really big water moccasin, like Rudy or Trey.

          • 12banjo

            Trey? You mean Trey Kabuki?

Trump and Sessions WANT the outcry, noisy demands to take action.

      • Vera Orsova

100% correct. This is just a “delay the action” tactic from Sessions part. He needs to go.

      • Too_Late_4_America

That is the sign of a good politician, and Sessions has been a “politician” for many decades. He knows how to play the D.C. game.

        • MUSLIMANIA

Trump should’ve fired him right after he recused himself.

      • TexasDeplorable1134

Agreed. I also believe that Comey was obstructing justice with regards to the Clinton email server and now even more obvious Mueller is also a big question mark as he has not been very forthcoming in his investigation (except with his highly illegal leaks to the MSM).

      • fatboy46

Sessions was part of the swamp…he knows where the skeletons are and who will get burned…

      • dingo

Sessions reminds me, back some years ago, when Coach Gibbs came back to Re-lead the Redskins again, ticker tape parade and all. And then,…. he failed pretty bad, the Man was awesome, but he was way behind in keeping up with the evolving game, and was overwhelmed.
He was also bright, and bowed out fairly quickly. I feel the same about Sessions.

      • JB Howard

        One wonders just what it
is, they have on poor old Jeff.

      • Bull7822005

Or possibly he’s been working on more important or timely things (like plugging leaks?) while waiting for better timing–We really know nothing about what he’s been doing, and I presume it’s been more than just “sitting on his hands”. Having the Clinton investigations in the back pocket is probably a handy tool to keep Clinton from interfering too seriously in current politics or operations. Also, from other reports I’ve heard in the past about the depth and sprawl of criminality and “the swamp” is that it is so widespread that outright exposure could collapse the government and possibly prompt a civil war–we may sense that is it bad, but we don’t how extensive it is, so caution is certainly warranted; There are people smarter than I, thinking about this, and I expect that they would need to proceed very “carefully”.

Ultimately, Sessions’ performance and tenure will be evaluated and decided by Trump, not us.

        • kaiju

You and I are thinking alike. I’m amazed at all these ignorant blowhards that think Sessions is just sitting on his thumbs. I do understand the frustration though and I too want to see visible progress. People here need to understand that Trump and Sessions aren’t just taking on the Clintons but also the majority of our existing government, because it is really that corrupt. I wish them both the best and hope others here will decide to show them support instead of this constant complaining.

Or WHO controls them or is that Powerful ? I Am Serious. Almost everyone MSM/Dem/Rep/Lawyers/Career Politicians/Law Enforcement/Judges Refuse to Challenge The lies we are expected to believe. Is in Fact our Own Government nothing more then a RICO Organization ? I would be Afraid if Not so Angry 🙁

Worse than a RICO organization. If you believe, pray, and Google “podestas art” keep in mind this is gov and Hollywood (weinstein) Protecting their own. Pure evil. Tom Fitton is President of Judicial Watch who’s logo is “Because No One Is Above The Law”. He would be an excellent choice, if he would take it.

          • chatty cathy

As stated, he’s not an atty..not that I trust them, because they all are somehow connected, work together, cover for each other- as in graduating classmates. Friends. Friends of friends. Things are not as they seem. Plus, maybe, like many, he likes waking up every morning to see the sun shine and the people he loves. We need to pray for God to put the kind of people in charge who are fearless of the evil we face and live with daily, because they know He’s their protection. Diff on our level..you know, just mere citizens..lol.. Just my opinion though. What he says is true though- NO ONE is above the law..only temporarily.. the gov and legal depts are so sucked up in corruption. Hope this made sense..in a hurry this end

      • All American

        • chatty cathy

Our discussion a week or so ago? Sessions may not be an actual participant, ( who the heck knows? ) anyway he’s up to his neck in knowledge to say the least. A video on info wars ( I know, I know..but still hard to dispute what’s recorded visually) shows Biden, Sessions and several young girls, a cple with their moms- not sure what the event was- but Bidens being very touchy feely with several of the young girls..playing with their hair, laying hands on shoulders, and reaches over to touch the young girl Sessions is talking to and he literally smacks Bidens hand away, moving this child away. He’s aware of their lifestyle. No telling what he’s been threatened with/blackmailed. Protecting their own. Just insane. People have to see these things to get a surface idea at least of the depth of this evil that’s been running the country. Surely many do. See Michael Hawks comment. Saw you on here so mentioning it. I’m new on here but willing to put that out.

          • ray

Yup .. seen it. HA! smacks his hand away!! Sessions doe not play politics and is not afraid of anyone. Sessions does not grandstand … he does not play for the media (as Comey did). I like him. He *is* getting a lot done! Not easy to pull in the rough DOJ .. but he *is* doing it.

The ‘love’ of money is the root of all evil. Not having it, as God blessed many with great riches. But when it comes first with the evil desires of the heart? Then someone’s in big trouble, sadly, with the Lord .Sadly on their end. And worse for them as for they make the poor suffer. Will holler later. Be safe

The least he could expect is to have his AG to work alongside with him and support him. Don’t you think?

We all know full well the evil that was forced on us. Are you going to fill Sessions shoes? Do you know who he has to work with each day? We know he’s got Trumps support, but make no mistake his is no easy job. Have you ever heard of trying to encourage someone. The libs do it all the time. Am I making a point here or just wasting my time?

    Evaluation = placated

We’ve seen this song and dance before, his name was Ken Starr.

For any normal human it’s a complex game of figuring out who’s wallet to fill, who to kill and where the skeletons are, for the Clintoons it’s a Friday night movie date.

I just hope this isn’t for show. I’m worried already about the language “evaluation.” What’s to evaluate exactly?

    • HarryObrian

Probably the facts, if they can or care to find the real ones.
