The Senate sets up a final vote on the confirmation of President Trump’s pick to lead the FBI.

Tuesday morning Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced the full Senate would vote to confirm Christopher Wray later this evening after only four hours of debate.

McConnell added with all the threats facing the country he hopes his democratic colleagues will not launch a filibuster on an FBI director nominee.

Wray’s nominations easily passed through the Senate Judiciary Committee late last month after he vowed to remain independent from any political pressure.

He is expected to be confirmed sometime Tuesday with support from both sides of the aisle.

Uh-Oh. This guy is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Much to their cackles of glee, he told the Dimms during his hearings that his FBI will be INDEPENDENT of the WH and the DOJ. A flat out LIE. The FBI is under the supervision of the DOJ, and therefore also under the authority of the executive branch of government, hence, the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES.

This might be ANOTHER COMEY in the making ??

Let’s hope he means what he says and looks at all the information regarding the former DNC chair!

I’m not sure the FBI can be salvaged.

A Bush administration appointment is not a good sign. “He served as Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division under the George W. Bush administration”.
Bush wanted republicans to vote for Hillary against Trump. Does Trump have a Death wish?

    Its about time!
