UPDATED 4:50 PM PT – Sat. February 3, 2018

Senator Lindsey Graham says we need a second special counsel to investigate abuses of power at the FBI and Justice Department.

During an interview on Friday, Graham said he likes the FBI and the Department of Justice, but ‘somebody needs to watch the watchers.’

The South Carolina senator has raised concerns in the past about political bias at the FBI and DOJ, but said that the issues pre-date the Mueller probe and the Russia investigation should still continue.

“Let the legal system deal with the Russia investigation. I want Mr. Mueller to do his job without political interference,” said Graham. “I’ve seen no evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians but we need to find out what actually happened.”

Senator Graham had previously called for a second special counsel investigation when the senate began examining the Steele Dossier and the FISA applications.

  1. Here’s the issue, the righting is on the wall, Graham. If these people (many probably lawyers) break the law. They should get a prison sentence or jail time. Then the tax payers wouldn’t need to pay for a “second special counsel to investigate.” Ultimately however, it will end with…time goes on, or third investigation, or forth investigation or never mind…hung jury, everyone goes free and no one has money to further investigate.

Okay Graham, your placating is noted.

  3. bigcrawfish | February 4, 2018 at 4:53 pm |

I’m not sure what Senator Lindsey Gomez has up his sleeve, so I’m reluctant to agree with him, but I certainly want a special counsel and a federal grand jury to hear the case.

  4. CLEAR EVIDENCE!!!! I want to see handcuffs out and clinking around their wrists! Too many councils, too much BS! The DOJ HAS the evidence to indict! I want to see warrants! WARRANTS!!!! INDICTMENTS!!! “They” tried to poison our………….American citizens……..The PRESIDENT!!! The man we duly elected without the help of illegals and dead people! The man WE chose to run this Country and uphold the Constitution! It’s time folks!!!

I clearly remember Trumps statement, THE FIX IS IN ! he just didn’t know at the time how seditious these knuckle drag gers really were. Hopefully as the noose tightens around hillarie’s neck she will off herself and save us the trouble, but being the cowards the clinton’s really are that won’t happen, her lawyers will be begging for clemency due to her failing health, really

Hillary had six Republicans bribed to “destroy” Trump!
According to WikiLeaks here are the names of those Republicans: Paul Ryan, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain.

As reported by the Conservative Daily Post, Hillary bribed them during her campaign days, to make sure that Donald Trump looses the elections. And if he was to win by some chance, they were suppose to sabotage him and his presidency.

Unfortunately for Hillary, her vicious plan was revealed in an email which was sent from Clinton’s campaign manager Podesta to top aide Huma Abedin.

In the message, Podesta gave details about how the funds were being allocated from the Clinton campaign to the Super PACs of Carly Fiorina, John Kasich, and Jeb Bush :  “JB, CF, and JK PACS will be silent for the rest of the campaign. Each will get a vital allowance from advertising budget. HRC is in the loop and has talked to all three personally. Eyes only.”

Reportedly, some of the emails have exposed that a couple of Republican Party members were bribed to enable the Clinton agenda to move forward.

As evidence of this there is an email that was sent to Paul Ryan right before he took back his invitation for Trump to speak at an event in Wisconsin.

The email read: “He is on board and will retract the invitation to speak.”

There were also other emails which suggested that money had been moved to Republican officials from the House and the Senate. For instance, FAC records show that just before McCain publicly criticized and attacked Trump, there were transactions for two giant donations from PACS and private sources which went straight to his bank account.

  8. Lindsey is clearly a RINO that has to go away in November.

  9. You want to see what happened? You just did, with the release of the memorandum. You are a double speak dumb azz.

  10. Given an unlimited number of chance choices even a maggot such as comrade gramnesty will eventually get something right.

  11. I don’t trust Lindsey Graham, he seems to be a fair weather friend. He goes with whatever is currently popular on a give subject.

  12. They realize the New GOP donors want a better Government not a Oligarchy type government.

I’m glad Lindsey Graham isn’t president… and will never be president… phone drop.

Wonder how Obama is handling this… and where is he hiding?

  14. Well, well…maybe there’s a little bit of a brain in Lindsey’s head after all.

    • conquest915 | February 4, 2018 at 8:37 am |

Naw, I was thinking the same till Lindsey said, and I quote: “Let the legal system deal with the Russia investigation. I want Mr. Mueller to do his job without political interference,”

Since when does the legal system work on proven lies of Trump/Russian collusion by known liars with conflicts of interest and political bias. Old “light in the loafer” Lindsey is a lawyer and should know that basic fact of law and demand that Muller recuse himself and the investigation be considered null and void. Then he should demand an investigation of the DNC for the real collusion with the Russian in producing a fake dossier to influence and fix a presidential election by a political party which, by the way, is considered high treason. The corrupt Obama FBI/DOJ will come out in that investigation and they will be found complicent base on what we know now for fact.

      • I agree absolutely…using the justice department as a political weapon is unscrupulous at least…but when you lie to comittees, that’s purgery, unlawful, and needs prosecution. Hillary, and her minions are famous for this. I’m biding my time, waiting for the subpoenas to fly.
As far as Mueller’s concerned, everybody, I’m sure, knows he’s beating his head against a wall,

        • nfcapitalist | February 4, 2018 at 9:00 am |

And who arrests, charges, indicts, brings themselves in front of a Grand Jury, and acts upon the resultant… BILL!!!!

Who will make that suicidal decision?

          Not Rosenstein.

    • Don’t be ridiculous. He said he wants to know what happened, and yet the house Intel memorandum shows what happened to initiate a fake investigation. He is FOS.

  15. the irrelevant one is flapping his gums.

Why waste more taxpayer money? They are ALL guilty, so arrest them, put them in jail and, tomorrow morning, walk these treasonous traitors to the firing line and end their miserable lives in the hail of bullets.

  17. Nordonia Nate | February 4, 2018 at 7:40 am |

The American people MUST be informed about EVERY PIECE OF Russian interference… INCLUDING the role of the DNC and Hillary..

Get the subpoenas out AND let’s get the judge(s) sworn in and question them … Enough is enough.. Let’s see what Schiff wrote.. Let’s find out WHY Mueller won’t hold an objective investigation?

  18. Graham is very much like the broken clock; this time his hands point correctly. We will see what he says tomarrow.

    • nfcapitalist | February 4, 2018 at 8:19 am |

Lindsey Graham being described as a broken clock… Trump needs to borrow your very excellent moniker… the broken clock, well done, Ed!!

    • He wants to see what happened, which is fully explained in the Intel memorandum. Faked FISA. He is forked tongue.

  19. Paul Alexander | February 4, 2018 at 7:31 am |

We need to shut down the witch hunt and get Trey Goudy to head up a investigation of the real Russian collusion scandal!

  20. That’s it more investigations, more waste of your tax dollars. Funny how they have all this money for investigation after investigation. what do they care, they dont contribute to our nations debt, they don’t pay income taxes, WE DO!

Time to start putting obama and the clintons the bushes and all their supporting cast behind bars. Any govt employee that supports a global govt, nwo should be hung for treason, traitors.

  21. This is just a political ploy by Graham who knows that his remarks will not be published by any left wing rag, like NYT or WP. His remarks about a second special council is meant only to be read in a few conservative new outlets. The fact that South Carolina has an open primary that allows democrats to cross over and vote for Graham, is the only reason he wins re-election. Graham is actually a progressive democrat more than 50% of the time

  22. nfcapitalist | February 4, 2018 at 6:33 am |

BREAKING NEWS: Harold Watson “Trey” Gowdy III (R-SC4) stated this morning what reasonable folk have known for awhile: The dossier had absolutely nothin’ to do with the FISA warrant! Nothin’! He also states the DTrump-“USSR” probe would be happening WITHOUT the dossier anyway!

I guess this makes Gowdy a full-blown RiNO, now, huh?

  25. As the FISA warrants were based on the discredited Steele dossier, the Mueller investigation should be immediately shut down. Any charges resulting from the sham investigation should be immediately dismissed, and any convictions should be immediately overturned.

    • nfcapitalist | February 4, 2018 at 6:36 am |

FDR had detractors, Ike had issues, too.

  29. The russian probe is a disgusting waste of tax payer $. Shame on the l1btirds!

Those in power in Washington are fully aware the attention span of its general public is short lived. Hit a few high points, slap a couple of hands, run it out long enough and —– there will be yet another subject to arise which will divert our attention. It’s a sick game to them. And unfortunately – We don’t matter!

  32. Actually, I wish I knew all these politicians personally. Might make the whole thing a whole lot easier. Failing that, we just have to go on what they say.

  36. I dont want to hear one more DAM statement about Russia being a corrupt country. We are so far MORE corrupt than they are it’s unbelievable. Our entire government is infested with the cancerous decease of greed, lies, scandals, theft, abuse of public money, political favors, sex scandals and more.

  37. “Says we need…”

So does that translate into action?

  38. A marcus Young | February 3, 2018 at 7:26 pm |

I do not know how these one sided FBI agents and Judges can look at themselves in the mirror, To see yourself and know you are a traitor to your country. That has got to be hard.

  39. While I know what motivated our Founders, I find I have some difficulty understanding what motivates our current politicians. Except maybe greed. There is always that.
    Greed is always good.

    • Current politicians main motivation is the reversal of our founders intensions. I would suspect, especially on the left side of politics. Some of that was shown during the SOTU address.

  40. Just like most of you, I wish these leaders we have on both sides of the aisle were more concerned with the American people themselves, instead of their own fortunes.

They come to Washington as paupers, barely able to pay their rent. And yet, after a few short years, they are all millionaires. That seems like a pretty good game to me. One I would like to get in on.

Actually, that was a joke. I am already comfortable financially. I don’t need to dirty myself at this point in my life by becoming a politician.

  41. He is trying to get ahead of the process and get a swamp person in.

  42. We don’t need graham running interference for the FBI by appointing a swamp member as Special Counsel.

  43. In a rare moment of clarity LG makes sense and I agree with him. I expect no such clear thinking from his co-hort…

  44. The Graminator is certainly an enigma. One day is ready to hang POTUS from the highest rafters, the next he screams for Justice for said public official. Its like he is playing both sides of the street..

  46. I want Mr. Mueller to do his job without political interference,…

    Mueller is the political interference.

    From conservativetreehouse/barnes_law:

    Key fact about
Mueller: he is very close friends with Comey, and was the mentor and
close friend of Rosenstein. Mueller is also expert at covering up for
lawless law enforcement: see his role with Whitey Bulger, BCCI, HSBC,
Waco, Noriega, IRS/Tea Party & Fast & Furious.

    FBI turned over
their NSA spying capacity to a private lobbying company in order to
promote a smear campaign against a domestic political opponent. Fearing
being caught, they appointed a special counsel (Mueller) to cover for
them by accusing the man (Trump) who might expose them

    • ...remain calm and return fire | February 4, 2018 at 12:38 am |

“Mueller is the political interference.” No doubt on that.

  49. Lindsay Graham. You and your man, John McCain never stop talking Russia. Even John McCain got Dossier and gave it Comey to bring President Trump down. Now we need 2nd Special Prosecutor to investigate John McCain, not DOJ and FBI.

  50. Why hasn’t the FISA court judge been questioned? One can easily allege that since he did not question the Steele dossier that he was possibly part of the scandal? At least congress should question him in private

Sorry. Three strikes for you. I don’t drink. I don’t watch NFL. And, when I say ‘please’, that is the opposite of ‘puffing up’.

  53. I’m sure he will suggest another law partner of the Clintons, with ‘unsullied ‘reputation’…to do the oversight job he and congress has failed to do, its their job…what does the FBI and DOJ have on him?….what does FBI and DOJ have on evry dem and RINO? …really looking fishy..

  54. Well, Senator Graham, here’s what I think, and I don’t believe I am alone.

It has now been pretty much proven by recent events that the Mueller probe is indeed a witch hunt that had no basis to begin with, except to take down this President.

It was put in place by the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton and her hangers-on. For those of you from Rio Linda, that simply means all the Obama leftovers who are still working to take down this government, or at least this rather remarkable President.

Apparently they don’t like the process we have for electing a leader. They prefer stuffing the ballot box. That’s an old term actually. In these current times, they just bus in people from state to state so they can vote multiple times. Then of course there are all those illegals that Obama was so fond of. The DACA children. They vote in California and several other states without having to prove they are here legally. And don’t forget all the dead people who also vote. They’re still citizens, even though they are dead.

Really, Democrats must have to take a bath fives times a day, just to get rid of the dirty feeling of who they are.

    • landy fincannon | February 3, 2018 at 6:01 pm |

      Yes, the explainable enigmas.

Why did Donald bring in more than three dozen Bush loyalists?

Promote Jerome Powell an Obama appointee and leave so many holdovers in place?

      • Good question

      • Well landy, the questions you ask sort of represent a mild attack on our President I think. And I don’t mind that actually, because you sort of did it in a nice way, if you know what I mean.

Bringing in the Bush Loyalists I think, was a way of trying to play nice with a rather strong Bush type Republican Party, which is what the President faced on his first days in office.

To put it simply, he was trying to play nice in the sandbox.

But here’s the real deal. The sandbox doesn’t exist anymore. Because even though he tried to play nice, they went after him anyway. When you do that, the rules of the game change. Because you just changed them yourself.

They simply told this rather remarkable President, “we don’t support you.”
To which the President said, “Then go to Hell. I’ll do it without you!”

And that is basically what he did in his first year as our forty-fifth President. Multiple times, I might add.

And that folks, is where we find ourselves right now. Both the Democratic Party and our own Republican Party simply pi##ed off the real leader of this country. Donald J. Trump, who just happens to be the current President of this great nation. He was willing to work with both of them going in. Not so much right now.

The first year was a learning period. Learning period is over. The next three years are going to be somewhat different, if I don’t miss my guess.

        • landy fincannon | February 3, 2018 at 6:58 pm |

I think you know by now, or at least hope you do. T
That I distrust both parties equally and that probably comes s as a surprise to some but it’s true.

Perhaps I’m overly concerned, but Donald’s appointments haven’t made him atypical at all which is a shame in my opinion.

That’s not to say there have not been some positive developments, though.

          • You must know I am with you landy, in all that you just mentioned.

As for Donald, give him time. He’s no doubt learning as he goes along.

          • I am afraid he is still trying too hard to appear to be nice. He needs to come down on these people hard, which to me right now would be mass arrests. What he is dealing with is bullys, bullys who think they have him out numbered, and that makes them over confident and dangerous. The only way to deal with those types is to come back at them hard and not back down. Mass arrests right now, let them know there is a new sheriff in town so to speak. And as far as the whole Russia Russia Russia, bs Trump should embrace his friendship with Russia all the way and let them know he has a strong ally bc that is the reason they are doing that, Trump and Putin working together scares the hell out of these people, he should use that.

          • Mass arrests, while they would be cathartic, would play into the hands of Dems and RINOs who call Trump a dictator wannabe. He is playing the long game.

          • Why do you continue to try to plant seeds of doubt in our POTUS? President Trump has no friendship with Russia to embrace! He is not working together with Putin!
The Clintons and The Clinton Foundation have benefitted financially from their friendship with Putin. Don’t get it twisted!

          • Hmm..Yay and nay….

        • Landy Fincannon is a concern troll, here to pretend support while sowing doubt and distrust attacks on Trump and his appointees.

          • Actually, Kaiju, I don’t believe Landy is a troll, concern or full blown. He’s more about exposing hypocracy, and isn’t afraid to do that with both sides, and with a cynical flair that I find very honest. Imho.

          • We all know about the hypocrisy on both sides. From my point of view, Landy has been sowing doubt and distrust of Trump and his appointees for months. This is the definition of a concern troll. Maybe Landy is just a highly depressed hopeless person, but regardless the comments are less than helpful.

          • You’re not wrong. He has been doing this, but to both sides, not just Trump. You may be right about depression though. I haven’t looked at it through that lense. I will from now on.

        • I hope you are right, for the American people have placed their hopes in President Trump’s hands. If he lets us down America is through. Happily, he seems to handle pressure well.

          • OceanaJones | February 4, 2018 at 1:31 pm |

          ABSOLUTLY great answer

        • No you did not miss your guess. I have always looked at our president as a fair man and nothing like the previous one, absolutely nothing.
President Trump has dealt with many people in his working career. And yes he will do things differently the next three years. I believe the honeymoon is over for him the Democrats and yes even the Republicans.

      • alan greenspan is a communist.

      • This a personal opinion, but I believe Trump keeps most of them because he believes they are loyal to the job, not to whomever is temporarily in power.

      • Didn’t the Democrats say that they would hold up the ones Trump chose?

    • Swamp Senator Gramnesty just woke up to that fact something is rotten in the FBI? Don’t let him fool you. He’s probably in this crime as deep as McCabe is. He’s trying to appear concerned to save his own behind

    • JCDutchIrish | February 4, 2018 at 10:16 am |

CORRECT – Quite confident you could have noted FAR more. There are SO SO many more sickening points of interest and areas of concerns which align with anything associated or directly tied with, but not limited to, the DOJ, Clinton’s, Mueller, Comey, Comey’s employees, Obama, his administration & cronies, and Pelosi.

Additionally, the judge who has just ruled to NOT allow Comey’s messages be available for examination due to – what did Comey say, “He was afraid this President would lie”? OMG! Seriously a person who has proven to LIE and had obviously NO CONCERNS while being directly directed by the former Presidency!!!! R E A L L Y ????? What BU!!$h!T

I’m afraid “We The People” can -NO longer trust- our justice system, our government, special counsels, etc.., with the exception of course, IF a citizen NOT under the Golden Umbrella commits a crime! Then by God the full weight of our justice and government is levied to do its worst!

The SHAME is on each and every lay abiding citizen allowing what has become of our Government and Legal system!

    • Democrats unshakably believe that they have the only valid opinion. That they are the only ones smart enough to govern and that the end justifies the means. Or to paraphrase – they will rule America or see it burn to ashes around them.

    • Should the ḊỉᵯØ₵ɹãṫz shower in insecticide and lye soap they still would be filthy.
