Russia Falsely Accuses U.S. of ISIS Aid by Using Video Game Footage

Propaganda: The Russian ministry of defense today claimed it had ‘irrefutable evidence’ the US is helping ISIS in the Middle East – and backed up its claim by posting pictures from a computer game, but they are actually scenes from AC-130 Gunship Simulator, a mobile video game produced by Byte Conveyor Studios and uploaded to YouTube in March 2015. Russia is called out for falsely accusing the U.S. of aiding ISIS fighters.

On Tuesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense tweeted a photo they claimed was proof the U.S. was aiding ISIS military forces.

The photo showed an aerial angle of vehicles traveling on a dirt road.

Twitter users immediately noticed the photo was a screen shot taken from a Youtube video of the so-called video game “AC-130 Gunship Simulator.”

Another image the agency tweeted was taken from an old Iraqi Ministry of Defense video.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has since deleted their accusatory tweets.

  1. Sounds like Russia needs to do spring cleaning in the government too!

  2. You know the saying…when you point one finger at me, three are pointed back at yourself.

Russia speaking code and or faux pas? You decide…

Russia with a population of 140 million should be afraid of China situated on their southern border with 1.4 billion population and hungry for those natural resources going untouched in the largest under-populated country in the world… if they really think America is a threat to them… they are crazy.

  4. Yes, Russians got a lot to learn. They would not be able to stage a gas attack on civilians and blame somebody else for it.

  5. Apparently Russians replaced the pictures the next day for the correct ones. Which msm disuss those? Quite right, none. Btw US never denied evacuation of ISIS from Al-bukamal, they denied it initally about Raqqa, but were cought cheating.

The video may be fake but the story is true. It has been reported repeatedly (outside the US propaganda mill) that we have been supplying ISIS in a proxy war against Russia. THIS is old news around the world.

Going to buy some new hip waders tomorrow …. the BS is getting awfully deep

  8. Well, I hate to say this but when photos started coming back of ISIS in the beginning and their triumphs they were perched atop U.S. made military vehicles. Barry and Hillary have some explaining to do about that but alas the investigations keep getting shut down. Ever wonder why? It is my theory that the republicans are trying to hide the scandal out of fear of paying reparations for the mayhem caused by Barry and Hillary’s inept foreign policy that released U.S. weapons into the hands of terrorists.

Do you not have a memory… the US Army equipment was abandoned by Iraqi military when they fled leaving our equipment for ISIS that they were given to protect the Iraqi government?

ISIS then used that US Military equipment until it was finally destroyed by US Air power.

      • Yes I remember. To the rest of the world it could look damming . They were also carrying the U.S. made rifles too. In any event an invistigation would quiet all of the questions and negate accusations made by others.

    • Think Soros.

Russian Times had an article about the Russian air force wiping out an ISIS convoy. Turns out the convoy were civilians. RT pulled down the story and wrote another one about the US bombing the convoy.
