A new report claims Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is advising the Department of Homeland Security to terminate the Temporary Protected Status for Haitians and Central Americans living in the U.S.

The report, published on Saturday, claims more than three hundred thousand Haitians and Central Americans living in the country could be sent back to their homes.

The recommendation was made after deeming their homes are safe for return after natural disasters wrecked their homesteads earlier this year.

The Trump administration extended the protection in May, but warned recipients to be prepared to leave the country in case the program does not continue.

The Department is expected to make a formal decision by Monday.

No one ever points out that the kids who were brought here illegally, have received a free education from the American taxpayer and been educated better than what they would have received in the countries from which their parents left, would now be an asset to their native counties. They would return with an education and would be in able to better rectify change in their native countries. If you ask me, their native countries NEED them back!

  • MJABRTDK

Why not send the support they need from the disaster to them so they can rebuild their own country. Bringing people here even for a short time is nuts.

  • PK

    Yes! Wonderful news.

  • flashydave

Yes they have seen an example of a working Republic. Now if they can forget the criminalism of the Demonrats their home countries might have a chance.

  • JustmJustm

  • landy fincannon

They were notified and are expected to NOT disappear. Smart move. NOT

  • Matt

    Temporary Protected Status
    Means Just that TEMPORARY
    Send them home to rebuild

  • swifty656

It’s time. Return to their homes. This isn’t their home.

  • Brad

The headline should read “Will End …..”

  • James Williams

our government right now is like the left hand and the right hand slapping the face at the same time

    • dragon lady

One of those hands needs surgery.

      • Jenny O

        😁 funny 😀

  • Marty Kirkpatrick

If they were serious about it, they could ended it this week. Same with DACA and DAPA…Both were illegally pushed and could have ended Jan.20th, with support.

  • Ed L

If there here on protected status awaiting till there homes are rebuilt. They should be require to put half of there earnings into an account for their new home In there Home country. They get that money when they arrive back home.

    • Marty Kirkpatrick

Chances are they are not earning as everything is being supplied. I don’t know, but that wouldn’t be too far of a stretch, it seems.

      • dragon lady

If not, close to it (being supplied).

  • survivor50

It’s like the “Katrina Refugees”…once they found out there was a CLEAN world outside what they knew, they will never go back !
Especially with all the “FREE” stuff the govt continues to give them…

    • Letmesay

      Those people are still here..????

      • JustmJustm

        LOL….Thaaaa

  • letsdance

If the government has problems finding these folks, just put out a public announcement and pictures, I am sure the citizens of this country will be happy to help locate them for their trip back home!

  • Donald York

Yep, it’s time to send them home. If they get too comfortable using our system, we will have troubles with them.

  • Red, White, and Blue

Just get us Tax Payers out of this madness!!!!!!!

    • JustmJustm

      A VERY BIG ONE…….at that…

  • Fergus

THey need to return to where they came from and help rebuild their countries, NOT the USA we don’t need their help.

  • Al Lejdly

They can’t do this, the Democrats need the votes!

  • Hottotrote

About time! They need to help build their own countries to be what they want them to be. Staying here does not help rebuild their countries. I would not leave my country to live anywhere else if it needed me!

    • TexasDeplorable1134

Agreed, I believe we are doing more harm than good when we uproot them from their own country and support them by moving them to the US. Why not provide support within their own country? We see the issue that was created in the EU. Why the heck would we want that here in the US?

  • C B

That’s the population of some large City’s . Who let them in and why ? They were getting aid in their Country all along . There’s no reason to be letting these people in our Country .

    • Al Lejdly

Sure there’s a reason, the Democrats need all the votes they can steal. They’re also running out of dead people.

  • Linda Griffin

Good luck with that. You know they’ll do anything to not go back,

    • Hottotrote

Germany just :”lost” 30,000 refugees when they sent notices of deportation … after being notified the refugees magically disappeared. REALLY! They sent notices?

      • Al Lejdly

Sure they did. Worked as good as Oblamer’s honor system for illegals to appear in court after they were released.

    • Ed Carman

A foot in their ass would help, I’m willing to lend mine to the cause. They can be sent back, stop believing the nonsense that illegals can’t be found and tossed out, they most certainly can be.

      • Letmesay

Exactly this is the 21 century.

      • JustmJustm

        well this is a dem’s pet project….

  • Jenny O

That’s a LOT of people, so I’ll believe it when I see it.
Still, I am glad Tillerson advised it to be done.

  • Pepper

This would be a positive move to reconstitute the population of those countries.
They should send the displaced back to their homelands.
