London police arrested 47-year-old Darren Osborne for a terror offense after he ran over a group of pedestrians outside of a mosque in Northern London on Monday.
Witnesses say the collision happened shortly after midnight local time.
The vehicle veered off the road and rammed into a group of worshipers leaving Ramadan services at Finsbury Park Mosque.
Counter-terrorism police and emergency crews rushed the scene, and victims were taken to nearby hospitals.
At least ten people were injured in the attack, and eight are currently in the hospital with two in serious condition.
One man also died, however, police cannot verify if his death is directly linked to the attack.
In response to the incident, U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May says she is sickened by what seems like a non-stop series of attacks on her country.
The prime minister also praised law enforcement for their swift actions and attention to the victims.
The U.K. continues to be on high alert.
