The retired Air Force colonel made the highly anticipated announcement Friday, kicking off what’s expected to be a fiery showdown to replace retiring GOP Senator Jeff Flake.

McSally has been a staunch supporter of President Trump, and is running on a policy platform that mirrors his ‘America First’ agenda, including a hard-line stance against illegal immigration.

GOP lawmakers have called McSally a front runner.

She’ll be up against former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio in the Republican primary field.

“Grow a pair of ovaries”, why would men want to grow a pair of ovaries, and since women already have them, they don’t need to “Grow any”.?? McSally sounds like a feminist to me; Kelly Ward is probably the better woman for the job.!!!

If you do live Arizona as I do yes we have a great chance to help our president with his agenda. That is to elect Kelly Ward and Uncle Jo.Before everyone goes off on this Jo may be old but if we get at least three good years out of him is better than McSally.Do your home work on her you will see she is no better then Flake.

    • GenEarly

Kelly Ward is the Outside Candidate and should be elected. McConnell ChamberPots are going to continue to stall the Trump MAGA. Senate confirmations are way behind, even after a Year! Obama’s plants are still running the Feral Gov. bureacrazy and pushing their NWO-UN pogroms.

      • John Doe

Thanks for the reply to my post.Nice to see somebody paying attention.Good school of knowledge on your part.

        • GenEarly

Just keep communicating online and face to face too.

  • 🐯 TigerBear 🐻

Don’t let her fool you….she is a female Jeff Flake. She will NOT back MAGA and she will be just as asinine as Flake!

  • Fergus

Realistically Arpaio is rather old for the job. Give him credit for being willing to take on the job, but I doubt he would live out his first term.

    • ShortSweet

What a stupid thing to say. My grandmother lived to be 95 and was sharp as a tack her last day on earth. I would vote for Joe in a heartbeat. At least as long as there’s a breath left in that body, we would have someone we could trust and respect.

  • thompsoj

Why don’t Joe run for her seat in the house?

  • It’s all Joe’s fault

Gotta love this. Win/win for AZ!

  • Ken

Joe was a great sheriff and is a great man, however he is quite old, and became controversial and lost his previous election in a rather liberal county. The lady is obviously conservative and would have broader appeal, so a “deal” with Joe would be a good thing…

    • BigMark

      80 is he new 60.

    • BigMark

      80 is he new 60.

    • ShortSweet

Without that “deal” the votes will be split and Republicans could lose simply because they have two great candidates to choose from. I guarantee you Joe will get his share of the votes ….. either way, the outcome actually rests on whether they both run or one supports the other. That’s a fact.

  • TradeBait

Sheriff Joe is 85. McSally will work out just fine.

    • ShortSweet

She’s a good candidate … granted. But she cannot win if Joe runs because the vote will be split. There really is such a thing as “too much good”.

      • Phil

You have never heard of a primary election?

  • No Mas

Ill take McSally, let Arpaio run for McCains seat when he retires of otherwise not here anymore.

    • Phil

Glioblastoma is merciless and fast, but Joe does not have long to “wait.”

  • Sergeant_rock

Dear lady; Do be VERY careful the terms you chose to use (i.e. grow a pair of ovaries) the demented Democrats just LOVE to twist things like that in to derogatory statements and use them against you….

    • HarryObrian

I believe her reply would be “Fkem”…

      • Sergeant_rock

Possibly, but I doubt it, she is a lady, not a Democrat….

    • hertfordkc

Dems twist everything. Just tell it like it is and ignore them.

  • zeitgeist

So there is going to be Ward, Arpaio, and McSally so far in the “R” Arizona primary. It will be very interesting to see how each handles the $hi-t hole countries statement by the President. The left wing political minefield, aided and abetted by the MSM is all set up and primed. One misstep and one can be the victim of the medias favorite tactic the “one word lynching”. Examples: Racist, Homophobe, Islamaphobe, etc.

  • Roscoe

Looks like the GOP has a winner in the election no matter which way it goes. MAGA!

    • ShortSweet

Only if they unite behind one candidate. Otherwise, it’s iffy.

      • Roscoe

They will pick one candidate in the primaries to run against a DemoRAT in the fall. The primaries are the place to dump the RepubliCON RINOs and replace them with RepubliCAN conservatives.

  • C B

I’m betting that She and Joe parlay to an agreement . Its a Win Win for Arizona ………

    • Syd & Cathy Lane

I hope so… Joe being… well… older than me! Might be best to get young blood in that will be there a while!!

      • Drunken Sailor

Who is running for McSally’ Rep seat or is there one?

    • HarryObrian

I’m moving to Arizona to vote…

      • C B

Not enough time to do it legally . I’ll contact some Dem’s and find out how its done …………

        • tedlv

          ^^^^^ You win the internet!

        • Butch

you vote in the states you moved from and the state you moved to, states cant keep up on who is doing what.

          • C B

            Oh ………
