Washington, D.C. – Trey Yingst, OAN Chief White House Correspondent
Wednesday night the Washington Post released a story saying that President Trump is being investigated by the DOJ special counsel Robert Mueller for potential obstruction of justice.
Thursday morning the President took to Twitter, likening the news to the Russian collusion allegations in Washington.
“They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story. Nice,” President Trump tweeted.
The President’s personal attorney released a statement about the story, but did not directly refute the reporting.
Later in the day, the President was back online. This time to comment on his former election opponent.
“Crooked H destroyed phones w/ hammer, ‘bleached’ emails, & had husband meet w/AG days before she was cleared- & they talk about obstruction?,” President Trump tweeted.
The White is not commenting on the President’s tweets related to Russia investigations and has referred all questions on the matter to President Trump’s personal attorney.
