President Donald Trump doubles down on his promise to take care of our country’s military veterans.

In a tweet posted on Tuesday, the President wrote, “We will not rest until all of America’s great veterans can receive the care they so richly deserve.  Tremendous progress has been made in a short period of time. Keep up the great work.”

Last summer, President Trump signed a number of bill into law, including the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act, which gives the VA more power to punish bad employees and protect those who speak up.

The President is also showing his support on Twitter for border security and air travel.  On Tuesday, he renewed calls to build the border wall and praised Brandon Judd, Head of the National Border Patrol Council, for his praise of efforts made by the President’s administration to secure the southern border.

In a separate tweet, President Trump praised 2017 as the safest year ever in airline passenger safety.  This after a report was released by The Aviation Safety Network citing no recorded passenger jet fatalities.

A long overdue correction to aid many honorably retired veterans would be to advance through committee and approve passage of H.R. 303 and H.R. 333 to correct the existing inequity in disability award forfeiture.

There is always plenty of reflection and introspection at this time of the year.

People magazine fitfully reported that 92 “important” celebrities were lost in 2017…………..They sadly neglected to mention the following additional losses:

    > 139 Police Officers
    > 93 Fire Fighters
    > 33 Soldiers

A moment of prayer and respect for those that bravely gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can sleep at night.

God bless President Trump and his tweets. Twitter is how he circumvents the the lying agenda-driven MSM to get his message out there. Even many of his supporters don’t get this. Keep those tweets coming Mr. President!!!

What a better way to help veterans than to have them guard our beautiful wall. I am in!

  • DCBlueBlood

LOL! Watch Out — Trump’s Going to Have A Twitter Fit

Money Laundering, Etc. Deutsche Bank oh no. Trump’s going to be climbing the WH Walls!

  • Mountainhiker

Wow, great to have a President that supports the police, firemen and our veterans after the 8 years of the curse of the obama administration..

QTC Medical is a VA contractor, providing exams for Veteran Disability claims. It was founded by a former VA Director, Anthony J. Principi. and is now owned by Lockheed. Principi is now a registered lobbyist for Lockheed.

QTC is regularly awarded large shares of a 6.8 BILLION dollar claim budget, and has been accused more than once of sub-standard reviews and of denying claims as a matter of policy.

Mr. President, if you want to help Veterans, you’ll look into this blatant villainy.

    • Tank

Wow, as a VET I will definitely research what you have posted and hope the information isn’t as expected but I have a bad feeling that your post is going to be correct. Thanks for the info.

      • Augie Deabler

Howdy, Tank. I’m a Navy Veteran. USS Chicago CG-11, Machinists Mate. If I hadn’t recently been subjected to a hasty and shoddy C&P Exam by QTC, I would never have researched and learned about this. Trust me, my friend, it’s very real.

I think it’s going to be up to Veterans to spread the word and shine the light on these swamp creatures, because as I mentioned nobody seems very interested. Heck, I’ve even submitted the information to One America News and suggested they’d find something worth reporting. So far, nada.

If you want to see the ultimate in villainy, check out The Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Hard to believe there are predatory low-life animals on the planet like these three. The good news is that the Clinton’s are dealing with thugs and murderers just like themselves – i.e. “It’s nothing personal, just business”.

      • Augie Deabler

I’m old enough to be well aware of the Clintons, thank you J. Waltham.

Tank, do you notice that even our fellow readers aren’t much interested in the topic at hand?

Gentlemen, this is author and investigative reporter Jamie Reno. I’ve proudly covered our veterans for 25 years, please contact me regarding: a story I’m writing about our veterans and QTC corruption. Thanks!

A most excellent surprise to find someone interested in this issue.

  • Gnome Sane?

I wish he would tweet something about removing the 30+ million illegal aliens that are already here…including those DACA “children”.

  • Big Al

We need to deport Every illegal intruder & build Kate’s Wall……Then we can fancy ourselves with growing wages!

    • HarryObrian

Your idea sounds like something that would immediately benefit the Veterans, Border Security, Airline Safety and women and children all over the US. Unfortunately since the Patriot Act creation of the secret court none of it will ever fully happen.

  • Rufus Firefly

Articles fails to mention that Trump takes credit for airline safety, although he’s done nothing to improve it. If Trump is responsible for NO fatal accidents, will he accept responsibility next time there is one?
