President Trump fires off several tweets Saturday targeting the recently released memo, the Russia investigation and the impact each have had on his presidency thus far.

The president hammered what he called “the Russian witch hunt” saying it goes on and on and despite a year of searching, the investigation has shifted from focusing on collusion to obstruction– with absolutely no evidence.

He also said despite rising wages and great job numbers, there remains an obsession with alleged Russian collusion.

The president also tweeted out an excerpt from a Wall Street Journal column taking note of FISA abuses and the FBI’s influence on the 2016 election.

Despite President Trump’s comments, he has not suggested he will remove FBI Director Christopher Wray or Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

  1. I blocked DC months ago. Mental illness is fun at first. Then it becomes pathetic. Why is anyone here still engaging that idiot.

  2. nfcapitalist | February 6, 2018 at 6:30 am |

Watergate was handled as the political outrage of the last century but where are the independent investigative reporters on the weaponization of the federal government by Democrats… they’re attacking Sarah Carter, Peter Schweizer, and Tom Fitton… this isn’t the watchdog of government we’re seeing on CNN, MSNBC, NBS. etc.

  3. The sad thing is, about a third of the country will never believe that and this nonsense will continue for the duration of Trump’s presidency, and unless a demorat is elected next, (hope not), this nonsense will continue forever or until the next civil war.

  4. Davidreyes1486 | February 6, 2018 at 4:15 am |

Nothing can happen until the DOJ and The FBI are purged of their leadership.

  5. Can’t wait for the dem’s memo…it will be an all-out attack on Trump with no proof of any obstruction (which is their hope), or some sort of BS.
Boy…if George W. orchestrated something like this on Obama, my television would crack from the outrage…

  6. There are more people in the world know Democrats in US are the dirtiest in the World.

  7. Dems are mad.. memo must be true.

  8. TexanForever | February 5, 2018 at 6:40 am |

This is unimportant. What’s important is that Philly is getting burned down in a chimpout due to some thugs playing with a ball.

BTW, is OAN still posting stories? … no changes since Friday. Had to go back to (ugh!) Drudge to be brought up to date.

They had a fascinating story about costa rica having an election recently… did you miss that? (sarc)

    • The City of Brotherly Love didn’t handle their Super Bowl win very well. They should have taken lessons from Chicago after the Cubs won the World Series. The final game was played at Cleveland so the Cubs fans gathered at Wrigley Field to cheer the Cubs.

That’s what yuppie white boyz do, @TexanForever.

  9. “The president hammered what he called ‘the Russian witch hunt…’”
There is a witch hunt all right, and Trump is the witch.

    • Well, bud…the Kool-Aid done you in.

      • And I can just as easily say the same thing about you R.

        • Say what you want…we all know who, and what you are…

          • And, you can say what you want…we all know who, and what you are…

          • Oh, c’mon…you can do better than copying me…be original. Don’t go away…I have some chores to do, and I’ll be back for ya.

          • My only point is we are on opposite ends of the spectrum, so any criticism of me is something you can go to your bathroom mirror, look at your reflection, say your piece, and realize I sincerely feel the same way about you.

          • Ok…I’m back for a break. Now, I agree about opposite sides… And I’m not at all concerned about how you feel. ( i like what I see in the mirror).
Now, you say that you who know and what I am…Explain for the followers, please? Then I will explain about who, and what you are…
I’m going to finish my chores, then be back.

          • And I’m not at all concerned about how you feel.,and I like what I see in the mirror.
            Getting rather demanding aren’t you?

          • Oh, not so much…just curious. You seem to be all-knowing. Tell us what you know.

          • Getting even more demanding aren’t you?

          • Heh, heh…ok, ok. Stay in your little room, and keep up your diatribe. I gotta finish up…
            Later, my friend.

    • And you are the dingbat.

  10. Uh…not discrediting…exposing how Hillary employed, and weaponized them against her opposition.

  11. I’m sure President Trump has known (as most of us have) about the corruption for a long time…likely when he decided to run…(therefore, ‘The Swamp’). And he likely knew about Hillary’s role in it (Crooked Hillary)…
And with the open borders (Build the Wall), and how Obummer handled things (or mis-handled), I’m very glad he stepped up, and is doing something about it.

    • nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 6:28 am |

I think we all knew… Anita Dunn saying her role model was Mao and who vetted the pot smoking son of an unmarried communist mother that was presented to the world by Hollywood’s pretty faces and a fawning news media?

      Van Jones?

  12. nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 6:24 am |

Interesting isn’t it that the liberal trolls who come here NEVER counter or dismiss their attachment to communism… they are in fact Stalinists as are the agitation propaganda and One Party Rule advocates of the DNC.

    • Hey, nf… Yeah, its intriguing. They want everything given to them, and power. Only problem is, is what Margaret Thatcher said in one sentence. “Socialism is fine until you run out of other people’s money”.

  13. Varangian Guard | February 5, 2018 at 6:21 am |

No revelations………..The only thing that should be reported is ACTION……..we don’t need more of just WORDS. They aren’t saying anything unless they are saying it with arrest warrants and I just do not see that taking place. Prove me wrong….please.

  14. Treason!!! What’s the hold up get rid of these B#@$&__#. So they won’t infect the rest of the world.

  15. nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 5:59 am |

The citizens of the United States are not going to allow a North Korean (Stalinist) maniacal style authoritarian government to rule them… that’s never going to happen and the Democrats are representing that ‘One Party Rule’ being imposed on the world.

    • BlueBoomPony | February 5, 2018 at 6:10 am |

Plot twist: it’s been in power for decades. Trump is our last chance. Get out the memes. Talk to everyone you know. Be active. Spread the word. Help out where you can.

      • No it hasn’t, TROLL. You’d like us to believe that wouldn’t you. You’re trying to inject a defeatist attitude, while yelling rah rah. Those of us here are not stupid. You’re not fooling anyone.

  16. No one else seems to think the memo vindicates the Trump campaign, but it does weaken the credibility of the investigation, and will make getting indictements and convictions more difficult for Mueller and friends. I can imagine that, seven years from now, Mueller will still be trying to get goods on Trump that don’t exist.

  17. Myron Huddleston | February 5, 2018 at 5:58 am |

Democrats have shown themselves as TRAITORS to the United States and our Constitutional Republic .
Build the wall without doors , gates or portals .

  18. nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 5:38 am |

James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strozk, Lisa Page, Bruce Orh, Loretta Lynch… weakening and discrediting its two key law enforcement agencies… absolutely!!

Question remains… that list is longer than just these smucks… and they are hiding in the ranks.

  19. Not paying attention I see.

  20. How out of order has the federal government become? Listening to Democrats and the mainstream it’s a felony for President Trump to lie to James Comey, but it’s perfectly within the law for James Comey to lie to the President. That’s how partisan our federal government has become. There are no checks and balances on the abuse of power in the Executive Branch because Democrats in Congress refuse to honor their oath of office. That applies to some Republicans as well.

  21. Who were the fisa judges.? They need to be held accountable for approving this surveillance and possibly lose their license

  22. Enough already! Let’s see some indictments.

  23. The memo released by the intelligence committee is the direct result of Mr Gowdy’s investigation. Therefore, the information presented in the report is as fair as anyone could ever expect. That said, Americans have little to no confidence in government entities which have been weaponized against them, to overthrow their constitutional right to choose their government representatives. If the Trump administration takes no action upon these acts of subversion, then the people shall lose confidence in the Republicans as well and assume they are no different than the Democrats who took action as Communists to overthrow the will of the American public.

We are at a crossroads now that this information has been released, The Republicans need to force investigation and prosecution via the DOJ or Special Council at this point. If the Republicans do not investigate and prosecute all those indicated in the memo, then they are no better than the democrats who wielded the sword of communism against the American people, in an attempt to overthrow the 2016 presidential election by weaponizing for purposes of personal, political party sedition, the policing and prosecution powers of the federal government.

At that point it would be time to invoke a continental congress, whose job it would be to re-align the federal government with the specific powers identified in the constitution, eliminating scope creep past the constitutional defined lines of authority. Further, by adding to that constitution broad powers in the several states to allow a simple majority of states, power to act at the will of the people to call for special prosecutors who have authority to bring to justice federal government employees and officials where evidence exists indicating federal employees and or officials, have participated in acts of Sedition, Treason, or Subversion

  24. Burrito Jackson | February 5, 2018 at 1:16 am |

So what is the investigation about? This is the first investigation ever to not have a crime.

    • Reading is not your strong point?

    • nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 5:30 am |

Obstruction of justice, destroying evidence by DOJ/FBI leadership of HRC supporters and to the benefit of one presidential candidate and detriment of the other by using fabricated evidence and news stories to continue a year long coup against the legitimately elected president of the United States.

Deprivation of rights under color of law section 242 title 18.

    • Nitwit Hunter | February 5, 2018 at 5:37 am |

All that colluding and election rigging. It wasnt Trump

    • Pelosi: “We have to investigate first to know the crime.”

  25. Kurtis Morin | February 5, 2018 at 12:09 am |

Trump is being smart. Firing these fbi/doj crooks would just give the Dems more ammo to fire at Trump. We’d all have to listen as the liberals and the media did their song and dance on how Trump interfered with the investigation by terminating the investigators. Then they’d call for Trumps impeachment.

No Trump is smart he knows who the bad apples are and if he waits they’ll not only hang themselves they’ll bring the rest of the liberal crooks down with them.

    • William Thompson | February 5, 2018 at 7:18 am |

Hillary Clinton herself said that if Trump is elected that they will all hang, and I think she was referring to the Democrat party corruption.

  26. They “weakened” themselves. They are the ones who colluded against Trump. Fair politics. Of course not, but a key law enforcement agency had to be neutral and not decide with either party. By taking on this deal, they never thought that Trump would win. They got caught doing things they should never have done.

  27. What is disturbing about all this …is the people who did this are not being held accountable !!

Carter Page left the Trump Campaign in Sept of 2016 ….

Comey signed off on the Dossier to spy on Carter Page …Lied to a Judge to get the FISA Warrant on Carter Page …

Well Page left the Campaign in Sept of 2016 ….Yet Comey was using that Same Fisa Warrant to spy on President Trump in march of 2017 ….

MY point is only Carter Page’s name is on the FISA Warrant …..they used that warrant not to spy on Carter Page …he left the Campaign ..but to Spy on President Trump’s Campaign and Transition Team …and even after he entered the Oval office …..

So when are law enforcement allowed to use a Fake FISA Warrant ….who was for Carter Page …use it on Someone who they don’t like ….they used that FISA to Ruin Flynn & POTUS …

    • nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 5:34 am |

The FBI/DOJ leadership political operatives cherry picked FISA judge to support a coup against the legitimately elected president of the United States.

      • I totally agree with that statement.

        • nfcapitalist | February 6, 2018 at 7:54 am |

Scotty, Vera Orsova just posted the fact that Adam Schiff’s sister has been married to George Soros’ son for 22 years… DYNAMITE!!!!!

          • I read that yesterday, and it’s frightening. Can you tell me who appointed that mexican judge to decide on the walls funding?

          • nfcapitalist | February 6, 2018 at 11:48 am |

I think his first name is George… SOB?

          • Seriously, how does that work? Who picks the judges?

          • nfcapitalist | February 6, 2018 at 12:11 pm |

I’ve heard a list is made by the supreme court and then there are several who are rotated at some undefined time frame… that’s all.

          • Then how is it the 9th circus gets all the illegal immigration cases, and everything else we want to see resolved rationally. It’s almost like a puppetmaster is behind the scenes. If so, he needs to be fired.

          • nfcapitalist | February 6, 2018 at 12:42 pm |

You inserted the word “a” instead of “the” in front of ‘puppetmaster’… was that the innocent until proven an azhxxxx rhetoric that is proving to being America’s suicide by the color of law?

          • Well, according to the Dems, all Republicans are guilty until proven dead. Did you see the SpaceX launch? The car looked like something out of the cartoon movie heavy metal

    • Not so sure the FISA judge was lied to, remember he is the one that POTUS had a history with saying the judge was “biased”

  28. Stand firm, stand tall, be great President Trump! Focus diligently on getting re-ellected. Whatever you have to do, you know what you need to do; be the best. The elections for the next term are coming up so soon.

Pay no attention to the media, Clinton’s, dumocrats, Soros, and many more. Everyone sees how corrupt they are. These commies are trying to ware you down and take your attention off of serving another term.

  29. think about this…
without the Mueller investigation into President Trump, none of the FBI/DoJ/HRC/DNC/Obama scandals would have been uncovered.

  30. Thing you have to remember is this. Trump is real. Everything else out there is fake. Because everything else out there is an attempt to get you to believe that lie.

We have what we voted for. We have what we needed. We have a President. Finally.

  31. Here’s the real deal, and you can take it for what it’s worth. A lot of people have met an untimely death since the Clintons came on the scene. Since they began their regime in Little Rock and then moved it to the White House, some fifty people have met a mysterious death. Nothing proved. No evidence that would stand up in court. But at least fifty people who are no longer breathing. Think about it.

  32. DCBlueBlood | February 4, 2018 at 8:15 pm |

BWA HA HA HA HA … This is GOP PROPAGANDA! BS MEMO is absurd!

      • nfcapitalist | February 5, 2018 at 5:45 am |

What’s amusing and telling… is these trolls NEVER CONTEST that they are communists… noticed that yet?

      • He left his arsenic on the table…

    • Hey DC…Where are you? I’m back, and got my paddle out for you to bend over for.

  33. Even though it was a light evening here on OANN, the few comments that trickled through, still proved the worth of the site. A lot going on. Super Bowl and all that. But football is just entertainment for the masses. Just like the Obama presidency, it is just a temporary occurrence.

Anyone out there raising a family right now, is not worried about who won the Super Bowl. That’s not the first thing on their list, I guarandamtee you.

  34. Mr. President, it goes on and on because you have to be removed in order preserve the Deep State Swamp. Fear not, there will be a mass retaliation if they try. Remember, Hoover thought he was going to win too.

  35. Raymond DeMeriden | February 4, 2018 at 7:32 pm |

The whole switch hunt was ‘authorized’ upon .. no verified evidence … a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment … and the Mueller hunt for some kind of evidence turned up zilch (except evidence of bias and corrupt Obama administration the OK the hunt).

Clinton and Soros funded Antifa (that is trolling comment areas at conservative news web sights) keep predicting that Mueller is about to take Trump down (ha!) despite all signs that it is not Trump that will go down … but rather FBI/DOJ officials that colluded with the Russian hoax. These officials see he writing on the wall and are ‘retiring’ as fast as they can.

    … bring them to justice!!

    • “switch hunt”

I’m not certain if this wasn’t a typo, but given the Mueller “investigation” has seemingly dropped any pretense of investigating the nonexistent collusion and has moved to the investigating nonexistent obstruction of justice (in other words manufacturing process crimes) it’s perfectly descriptive.

      • Raymond DeMeriden | February 4, 2018 at 9:08 pm |

Hehe .. yes .. typo 🙂 but may be prophetic (ha!)

As I remember .. Trump did not demanding or command that the investigation of Russia be closed or halted. That Trump ‘hoped’ it would come to a quick end (which the Dems claim was a directive) can NOT be used because the Dem’s interpretation is subjective (in their own minds) and contrary to the verbatim,

And the fact Trump never became directly involved in any Russian investigation at all.

Comey was recommended to be replaced (fired) by other officials in the DOJ … for several reasons one of which was his decision not to charge Hillary (was not his decision to make and evidence exist he made that decision before interviewing her). But the whole thing (Special Council) is predicated on the Democrat designed hoax … and a falsely presented non-evidence to the FISA court. Trump’s lawyers can certainly claim un-Constitutional grounds against the 4th Amendment – to obtain the warrant – which would mean that nothing pursuant on the warrant could be used in a court of law (but could possible be an item of impeachment as Congress is not a ‘court of law’).

Apparently, Mueller is using (ii) below .. for the ‘obstruction’ investigation, but I expect that too will go nowhere because Comey approved the FISA application twice (or three times) *knowing* it was not verifiable and it was paid for by the political opposition – many things Comey did himself that shewed any investigation .. it was justified he be replaced.

The following is Mueller’s mandate as Special Council.

By virtue of the authority vested in me as Acting Attorney General, including 28 U.S.C. §§ 509, 510, and 515, in order to discharge my responsibility to provide supervision and management of the Department of Justice, and to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, I hereby order as follows:

        (a) Robert S. Mueller III is appointed to serve as Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice.

        (b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confined by then FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:

        (i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).

        (c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.
        (d) Sections 600.4 through 600. l 0 of Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations are applicable to the Special Counsel.
(Signed by Acting Attorney General Rosenstein)

The Acting Attorney General (due to Session’s recluse) is Rosenstein … who testified that he had recommended to Trump that Comey had to go if the agency hoped to “regain public and congressional trust.”

For Mueller to implement either (ii) or (iii) for obstruction of justice … he has to get additional authority from Rosenstein, according to …

        § 600.4 Jurisdiction.
(b)Additional jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel concludes that additional jurisdiction beyond that specified in his or her original jurisdiction is necessary in order to fully investigate and resolve the matters assigned, or to investigate new matters that come to light in the course of his or her investigation, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General, who will determine whether to include the additional matters within the Special Counsel’s jurisdiction or assign them elsewhere.

So, one might wonder .. how can Rosenstein approve of Mueller investigating ‘obstruction of justice; in firing Comey – when Rosenstein HIMSELF recommended that Comey must go??

This is gonna go .. nowhere.

  36. Such BS. How many hundreds of millions of wasted taxpayer money was spent on this crap investigation. Now Trump needs to concentrate with indicting treason, sedition, collusion, overthrow of his presidency first. Then go after the pedogate government individuals. If anyone has done these things, they deserve life in prison or worse. Now it is the time to fight back as much as these globalists and MSM and hollywood had fought against him.
We elect officials to represent us not to become criminals and do what they want to do to fill their bank accounts.

Very well stated Pete…I wish everyone could see that light of Truth. I am fed up with all of it, Jimmy Kimmel, Hollywood retards, Anti-fa nazi’s, Clinton cartel and every other pathetic loser that has been running their mouth and instigating chaos for no other reason except that they hate Trump but can’t give you one reason why. I hope to God I can see the day that Killary goes to prison and Hollywood and Liberals crumble away into nothing. (Just a dream I know but it would be great to witness).

    • Keith Van Buskirk | February 5, 2018 at 6:26 pm |

The fact that the American public was unaware of such corruption by the DNC Clinton/ Obama is astonishing! Many Trump haters are still in denial. So sad for them! Living with such a delusion & hatred must be eating them alive!

  37. Or fire Rosenstein and have Trey Gowdy is his place if Gowdy leaves congress

    • Gowdy would be much more interested in Session’s job.

      • Grow Your Own | February 4, 2018 at 8:20 pm |

I say Gowdy for Supreme Court Justice!

      • Have you forgotten, Gowdy didn’t want the job?

        • Unless there are potential confirmation issues we’re not aware of, do you really think an ambitious man that is now leaving congress would turn the job down?

BTW, people often say they didn’t want the job when they weren’t picked for it.

  38. the only one that President Trump needs to fire, is Jeff Sessions. (and replace him with Trey Gowdy) after that, everything else will sort itself out.

  39. As long as the two stays, the two “offices” known as FBI & DOJ will stink and will reek of stench.

  40. All American | February 4, 2018 at 6:56 pm |

Let Americans vote Director Christopher Wray or Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to terminate or not to terminate.
Let’s take a poll: I vote terminate both and prosecute both!

  41. In a primal community, Trump would be the one who had the big stick and killed the Mammoth. Because he was a born leader to begin with. While we obviously don’t live in a primal community, that doesn’t in the least, take away from the importance of having a strong leader.
Mammoths are not prevalent on the landscape anymore. Okay. I got that. That time has passed. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have other enemies out there that are at least an equal threat or greater.

Mammoth was a big guy. Small brain. Democrats are not that big. But their brain is at least better than the Mammoth. How much better, is anyone’s guess.

Okay, there’s no one here this evening because of the Super Bowl and I’m just taking advantage and having some fun. Don’t take it seriously. Catch you on the backside.

  42. If Trump wants someone fired he’s not going to warn them beforehand so they can destroy their incriminating evidence, you’re not dealing with Obama anymore.

    • Suspect President Trump is bidding his time wrt getting rid of Rosenstein, Mueller, etc.

There is very likely more damaging Congressional memos/IG reports coming and they just might resign on their own.
