OAN Newsroom

Congressional Republicans celebrate with President Trump at the White House after passing the first comprehensive tax overhaul in decades.

During a victory speech at the White House Wednesday, the president welcomed GOP lawmakers from Capitol Hill, and thanked them for their hard work and determination to give the American people the relief they need.

He said the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will bring at least four trillion dollars back to the U.S. as companies come back to American soil.

Congress still needs to enroll the bill and send it to the White House.

Officials say President Trump will sign the tax reform bill at a later date, possibly at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida during the Christmas break.

The mandatory tax or fine for not signing up for Obamacare is GONE and so is Obamacare’s main purpose of bankrupting America and destroying the best medical care on the planet… look around for a better place to live and go there!

One more idiot troll blocked, one more idiot troll I don’t have to listen to.

    • WSWSapphire

Did you successfully get him blocked? I’ve tried several times, including using malware scan, but still can’t block any who come here that are signed up at other sites. (This particular one leaves filthy comments on many other pages.) I’ve reported to oan, but seems to depend on who’s on watch as to whether anything happens. I got ONE of his off, but it was by posting in the comments, saying ‘why do we have to put up with this oan? It’s been reported.’ That worked, surprisingly… at that time.

  • Johnny G.

The liberals are bleeding tears over this!

  • Andrew Moore8

Little at a time troll, little at a time….Rome wasn’t built in a day and it sure as he// wasn’t destroyed overnight either.

  • Andrew Moore8

Oh lets see….Last time I “checked him on it” I found unemployment at an all time low, stock market bumping a high never before seen of 25,000, Job gains better than the last 8 years, and now a great Christmas present of a tax cut for most hard working families…..YUP, I “checked him on it” and I love what I see.

  • internettoughguy

Like I said yesterday, I’m new here. Do they ever change the stories?

    • Living in the Times

Yes, usually everyday but sometimes it may be two days. Welcome aboard! I use to comment on Fox who would change their articles a few times daily. This is a far more civil and mature commenting board!

      • internettoughguy

And more importantly, it doesn’t get blown up by Russian trolls and bots 24-7. They’ve made the FOX comments section basically unusable. You have to refresh the page about every 25 or 30 seconds.

        • Living in the Times

Agreed. Fox is supposed to be a Conservative site and there are more liberals making hateful posts there then there are Conservatives posting. I deleted that account and came here. Fox became a liberal romper room for name calling.

          • internettoughguy

Some of the more vile comments are probably posted by mobys (fn1) but I don’t believe all of them are.

(fn1) moby (n) – an insidious and specialized type of left wing troll who visits conservative websites and poses as a conservative either for the purpose of spreading false rumors intended to sow dissension among conservatives, or to make inflammatory and offensive comments intended to discredit the site in question.

          • Living in the Times

Hmmmm….agreed! I often told them I felt they just came there to be childish and start a fight…nothing better to do with their lives. I prefer to get along with others. I love a good opposing opinion…that is how we learn from each other. But at least they should act like they are above 10 years old. I often told them to get off of the computer before their parent’s busted them…pahahahahaha

          • internettoughguy

I feel the same way. You’ve probably already noticed that I’m left of center but I respect anyone with a thoughtful opinion. The people who said the internet would enhance communication would not have envisioned the FOX comments section.

          • Living in the Times

Yes, I have noticed you are not a Trump fan. That’s ok. We are all entitled to our opinion. I was not on board with Trump at first, but I sincerely believe he wants the best for our nation. His tactics may be a bit “different” at times, but Trump, like ourselves, has his own way. I truly believe he cares about us a nation.

          • internettoughguy

I’m glad I found this site. I’m sure we’ll have many lively but respectful exchanges.

          • Living in the Times

            Yes. Merry Christmas!!

          • PatrickJ

            God willing.

          • Andrew Moore8

I doubt they will be anything near respectful….liberals can’t be respectful of others…it’s their way or the high way.

          • PatrickJ

Well, he certainly cares about us more than anyone else in Washington, including some of the people we elected on our side of things. I’ve been with him and supporting him since I first heard he was running. I haven’t been disappointed.

          • nfcapitalist

Schumer announces repeatedly that Democrats in congress will make sure that the tax reform will be a disaster… think about the wording.

They intend to make sure America experiences a disaster.

          • Andrew Moore8

So I have to ask….if your left of center then what are you doing on a right of center news sight and comments section?

          • PatrickJ

I always ask that question myself of trolls. I never get a good answer.

          • PatrickJ

I would agree. I don’t go there anymore either. The name-calling and profanity just turn me off completely. Character destruction is not a conversation.

          • PatrickJ

While you hold a good Christian position regarding those of opposing viewpoints, I just can’t do it anymore. I have absolutely no use for Liberal thought and I’m afraid it shows. I do have one Liberal friend and the only way we keep our friendship alive is we joke about the difference in our views on things. But we keep it light.

          • Andrew Moore8

So you abandoned ship and bailed instead of slaying the libtards? Why didn’t you band together and fight back?

          • Living in the Times

Wrong person…I am not left of center I am full blown Conservative. I did slay the libby’s for quite some time but I got tired of trying to hold an adult conversation with a bunch of “grownups” that felt a political commenting board was a place to cuss and call others names. If you read any of the liberal comments on Fox, especially those pertaining to Trump, you will see what I mean.

          • PatrickJ

At one time, I spent most of my time going after trolls and exposing them for their vapid comments. I finally stopped doing it after I realized that was the exact reaction they were looking for in the first place. They simply wanted to disturb the normal conversation.

That was when I just started blocking them. So far, I’ve left internettoughguy alone although we’ve had a couple of conversations. Seems like a decent enough person but we’ll see.

          • internettoughguy

That’s the dictionary definition of a troll. “One who posts extraneous, off-topic or inflammatory comments in an online forum such as an online discussion group, chat room or blog with the primary intent of provoking others into an emotional reaction or otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.”

          • Andrew Moore8

Provoking an emotional reaction…..How can you have a discussion with a liberal WITHOUT provoking an emotional reaction? Liberals operate on emotions…..they react with emotions and political correctness….They cannot deal with real world social interaction without having a trigger event and becoming emotional….therefor you cannot have a discussion in a group with liberals….it just doesn’t work…it’s like trying to mix oil and water.

          • Andrew Moore8

Guess again Patrick….he is a liberal troll.

          • PatrickJ

If he indeed is, he’s developed a different tactic. That is, he at first presents himself as a reasonable person, albeit someone with different view of things. Then once he gets you into the mindset that he is just another commenter, he starts with the Liberal stuff. I’ve already seen him do it.

          • WSWSapphire

Yes, there’s 3 or 4(at least) like that. And even after they go liberal, they switch again to conservative and on it goes.

          • nfcapitalist

Of course we know what you mean… OAN is slow but the deluge of Soros trolls dismissing actual conversations with insults became quicksand for constitutional conservatives being hacked and censored… Malwarebytes gets sucked into the molasses with ‘Your device has issues’ after thirty seconds… like I said, CENSORSHIP on FOX comments board is totally and typically… leftist.

          • Andrew Moore8

Not the wrong person, I know you are conservative….you cannot tire of slaying the libs….for the good of the country you have to be strong man and carry the torch otherwise they win….and I know exactly what the Fox comments are saying….all the more reason for you to be there slaying the lies of the liberals.

          • WSWSapphire

I agree(unfortunately, not only did they delete my comments when the trolls took over, they disallowed me from my own profile. Then they received a very detailed letter from me…) But any one who can even the balance in the comments, is something I think very important to do.

          • internettoughguy

No I’M left of center. As for what it means, it could mean a lot of things. I can tell you what it doesn’t mean. It doesn’t mean I hate America. It doesn’t mean I want to take anybody’s gun. It doesn’t mean I don’t believe in God.

          • Living in the Times

There are so many political labels and blurred stances that it is difficult to define them. I think the hard core liberals have pretty much ruined any chance of concession between the parties. To be fair, there are some pretty hard core Conservatives too. We must stand for what we believe but not try to annihilate anyone who has a different viewpoint. There has to be a happy medium somewhere!

          • internettoughguy

I’d like to think so but it’s hard to be optimistic. Alabama gave me hope. I would have been very disappointed if the voters of an American state had decided that a credibly accused child molester was better than a Democrat.

          • nfcapitalist

Hard core constitutional conservatives… please give me an example of those evil deplorable Tea Party supporters burning cars, smashing storefront windows, burning the flag and sucker punching men and women peacefully assembling in support of our history and flag?

            Please… examples?

          • WSWSapphire

Maybe referring to altright and conspiracy theorists, though libs, along w/hardcore, have altleft progressives(what a misnomer-progressives used by them means anything but) & conspiracy theorists- just different political conspiracies.

          • Andrew Moore8

And I call bs on you….You are a liberal who wants to do exactly those things….Your past comments prove it. You are liberal to the core.

          • PatrickJ

            My sentiments exactly.

    • Andrew Moore8

Yes they do….as the news happens…..i would rather have OANNs old unbiased news than that garbage they are serving up over at CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS.

      • internettoughguy

Being comfortable is not my goal. You also should welcome an occasional dissenting opinion. I would think life in an echo chamber would become boring.

        • Andrew Moore8

Life without the liberal lies would be refreshing….but we don’t get any relief from that either….Dissenting opinion is fine….trolling is not.

    • PatrickJ

It depends on whether or not there is a new news event to take it’s place. They just don’t fill the screen with garbage like the main stream media. Also, I like the fact that they leave the story up long enough for all of the comments to come in. I find I like that.

      • internettoughguy

Also at least they don’t fill it with lame irrelevant garbage about Hillary Clinton that has no news value and is pure click-bait for Hillary-hating nut-jobs. I like that.

  • Mark1Boogie

Merry Christmas to all in the USA and congratulations for electing who, in my opinion, the history books will confirm as the greatest American president of all time.
If only we could have him sort the mess out in Scotland as well.

    • GregB

Never forget it’s YOU the citizen who makes it happen. Keep the attitude of “its our country, NOT theirs” and pass it to as many others as possible.

      • internettoughguy

        Who are “they?”

        • Andrew Moore8

You are “they”….DCBlueblood is “they” ……Rufus the Dufus is “they”….Hitlery rotten clintoon is “they”.

      • WSWSapphire

Agree. And the UKIP party, who got the Brexit thing started, I believe started in Scotland. However, UKIP – United Kingdom Independence Party, is similar to U.S. Tea Party. Not large enough to make it in. But in the recent debates just before the Prime Minister re-vote, every time they spoke, it was the very same way I felt.

        • GregB

It is a long hard fight, but well worth it. They tried everything to destroy the Tea Party and it just made us stronger.
          Good luck with your fight!

          • WSWSapphire

Thank you. You are right – a long, hard fight, and most definitely worth it. I’m highly interested in the U.S. & UK, as I’m U.S. married to a Brit in UK, and know & love the people of both countries. And worth it for anyone in the same situation, if they only would or could see.

    • internettoughguy

Trump has become toxic and Trumpism is dead.

      • Andrew Moore8

And yet he is still YOUR president….suck it up buttercup….MLCA 2020.

      • PatrickJ

Now see, you no sooner tell us you want to join us in civil conversation and then you come out with something like that. Why should we believe anything you say?

        • Andrew Moore8

Like I said Partrick….liberals will always be liberals…you can never trust what they say…They operate off of emotion and political correctness….you cannot have a civil debate with one because they will experience a triggering event and resort to their emotional state of being where true facts cease to exist.

      • PatrickJ

That’s the dictionary definition of a troll. “One who posts extraneous,
off-topic or inflammatory comments in an online forum such as an online discussion group, chat room or blog with the primary intent of provoking others into an emotional reaction or otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.”

Merry Christmas! I thought the UK, Europe, et al hated President Trump and us Conservatives. Thank you for joining us here on OANN.

      • Mark1Boogie

You would be surprised how popular DJT is over here. Unfortunately we have REALLY FAKE news as well eg BBC, The Gurdian, The independant, Channel 4, Sky news the list goes on but my finger is getting sore.
All of the above leftist propaganda outlets brain washing the masses but we know their game now.
I know you have your own Soros puppets as well. Basically any news outlet that has a ‘C’ in it is best avoided.
        MAGA friends.

        • Twinkle Toes

WOW, well I’m totally shocked to learn you like our DJT, I would have never guessed. Well, we can definitely relate to the media and their lies. Have a Merry Christmas and stick around!

        • WSWSapphire

Absolutely. I’m an American living in the UK. As far as truth being known, less broadcast here than in the UK. My British husband got rid of our TV weeks ago.
We had a plasterer working on our house during a regeneration programme. It was shortly before the Brexit vote. When he talked to us, he noticed my U.S. accent & asked what I thought of Donald Trump for pres. When I told him he was so excited. Said he was gonna tell his wife he met an American who was for Donald Trump. And surprisingly, he appeared at the door last week, as the housing assoc. had mistakenly given him the wrong address. Therefore, he wasn’t here long, but long enough for us to discover he was already aware of the latest true news.

        • WSWSapphire

Isn’t Nigel Farage great? I love him. Have book-marked quite a few of his vids. on ytube. My UK husband gets discouraged w/how many are against Trump. I remind him that it’s not as many as the MSM work so hard to make it appear, and that radio has always screened callers… we know who they currently have added on their list to screen out, too.

      • WSWSapphire

Largely, the result of our U.S. fake news under or never reporting anything positive about Trump(along w/UK MSM having an effect on people’s opinions, esp. as they have extremely little REAL reporting on air.)

    • Living in the Times

Merry Christmas!!! Look forward to a prosperous New Year in the great nation of the US!!! Merry Christmas to the Trump’s as well!!!

    • PatrickJ

Merry Christmas to you as well, Mark.

  • internettoughguy

Trump claimed that this bill represents the largest tax cut in American history, which is a boldface lie. Both John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts were larger. Why couldn’t he just say it was the biggest tax since Ronald Reagan’s? Why does he ALWAYS have to lie? To answer my own question, he’s a pathological liar.

    • Sparky

Speaking(writing) of John Kennedy, if he lived in this era and ran for president on the democrat ticket, I would bet the modern liberal progressives would do their best to destroy him, He would not be welcome in their party.

      • internettoughguy

If by a “Liberal” they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a “Liberal”, then I’m proud to say I’m a “Liberal.”
        – John F. Kennedy
As long as he still feels that way he would be welcome with open arms.

        • Living in the Times

I think President Trump cares about all of those things as well as secure borders and a safe nation for the CITIZENS of the US. There is nothing wrong with that. He puts the citizens first and that is his job to do so. He works for the people of the US not for those who have no LEGAL right to be here in the first place…they do not have a voice in our nation. I feel he is looking ahead to get this country back on track. Our nation has lost so much respect from foreign countries due to our previous leaders being politically correct that it will take a personality like Trump’s to get that respect back. Having a nation riddled with immoral lifestyles, abortion, open borders and lax immigration policies is not what we need to get back on track.

        • Andrew Moore8

You just described a communist dude….give me, give me, give me….i don’t want to earn anything…..get the he// out of here with that bs….This is America get used to it numb nut…and there is a new sheriff in town and his name is Donald Trump…if you don’t like that then get the he// out of here and don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split ya.

        • PatrickJ

Well, if that is indeed the case, we might as well stop answering his comments. I’ll go first.

          • Andrew Moore8

But I like making fun of the little girl….she makes it so easy.

          • WSWSapphire

While I block what I can, if the one’s I can’t block post something that can be refuted(as opposed to a lie such as Pres. Trump is a ______), I sometimes post back just so there is truth to compare to their lies, so a person new to this site sees both.

So I think it’s good to have both blockers & a few responders.

(And while oan has a comment policy, which took me 3 tries to get to the other day, it sure is opposed to what’s currently happening on these pages. They say don’t feed the trolls, but they delete our comments if trolls flag them & leave up troll ones when we flag those.) If they would get rid of the trolls in a timely manner, there would be little feeding occurring.

  • Dan Taylor

Politicians get and maintain their power over us through the tax code. THAT is why the dems don’t like the tax cuts. They just lost a tiny bit of that power, which means a little less in their pockets. Not so much available for their vote buying exercises!!!

Especially when your own race did the very same thing to you.

      • Andrew Moore8

I’m white and you don’t have to forgive me because my family and I have never owned a single slave…EVER….However, what about the black slave owners like Dilsey Pope, or Jacob Gasken, or Justus Angel And Mistress L. Horry, or Widow C. Richards And Son P.C. Richards, or Antoine Dubuclet, or Anthony Johnson who by the way is responsible for the laws in the USA making it legal for one man to own another…..did you forgive them as well or are you still holding a grudge against them?

    • Andrew Moore8

What kind of white people herd do you have where you are from…..Don’t think I have ever seen a white people herd.

      • Dakota

Ok so I can’t spell but I can smell a internet RAT 🐀

  • Dakota

Why do you guys hate white people so bad

    • internettoughguy

What makes you think I do?

    • Rufus Firefly

      Just bad white people

      • DCBlueBlood

Why do we have to bring race into anything? These people need a wedge issue BAD.

        • Andrew Moore8

It’s not the right screaming about race issues….You lefties are the loudest screamers of all….

      • Robert Sigler

        Hate everybody until proven different.

    • DCBlueBlood

Can’t we just have good and bad people? Why do we have to bring race into anything?

  • Rufus Firefly

Will Trump be signing his middle class tax bill in the comfort of his modest abode at Mar-a-lago?

    • DCBlueBlood

      Probably on the 18th hole.

      • Rufus Firefly

Since Mar-a-Lago doesn’t have a course, that would mean an expensive motorcade to Trump International, along with exorbitant cart rental fees.

        • DCBlueBlood

          google Trumpgolfcount 😉

          • Rufus Firefly

The course and Mar-a-Lago are different properties, several miles apart.

        • Andrew Moore8

If he owns it then it isn’t costing us tax payers a dime now is it….unless of course you charge yourself rent to live in the house you are buying….who knows you might be that stupid….

    • Dakota

Jealous get off your butt and get a job

    • Andrew Moore8

If you weren’t a welfare queen you could afford to go down there and join him….Maybe watch him sign the tax relief bill for us evil vial rich white Christian people…

  • Dakota

You lefties forget why Trump WON and I’m not going to remind y’all but just keep up all the negativity hint cnn msnbc/LSD

    • internettoughguy

He won because we have a system that allows the candidate with fewer votes to win.

      • Dakota

It’s hard to set a guy like you straight if that’s your argument California gave MISS Clinton the popular vote. Considering California isn’t really American

        • internettoughguy

We’ve had five minority popular vote presidents. Three in the first 212 years of our republic and two in the last 16. If this keeps up, people are going to get tired of it fast.

          • Andrew Moore8

If you don’t like it then move….don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

      • Andrew Moore8

Yea, it’s called a republic….it was set up that way so the liberal cities wouldn’t control the rural areas…..and it works great….if you don’t like it you can always move to a country like Canada which has your democracy vote system….don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

    • Rufus Firefly

      No. Haven’t forgotten. Racism.

      • Dakota

The only racist here is possibly YOU Rufus

        • Rufus Firefly

          Sure. Look around.

          • internettoughguy

This is pretty tame compared to FOX “News.”

          • Rufus Firefly

Too many Russian trollbots on Fox.

          • internettoughguy

They’ve all but destroyed it. They blow up every thread 24-7. You have to refresh the page about every 30 seconds.

          • Rufus Firefly

It’s irritating that they post comments and delete them 20 seconds later. Each event causes scrolling. Some of the Russkis there are real people. They are offended by negative comments about Russia.

          • Andrew Moore8

I am offended by your comments….

He is definitely the only shared man whore around here….that is for sure and certain.

      • internettoughguy

The entire Trump movement was absolutely a racist backlash against the country’s first black president. They think they’re re-established white supremacy forever. But this is its last hurrah.

        • Dakota

          Ok msn/lsd

        • Andrew Moore8

And that right there is exactly the crazy bs that lost you the election to begin with….but hey, keep it up because 2018 is right around the corner and we are going to add as many seats as you nim nuts are willing to give away with your craziness.

      • Andrew Moore8

because you practice it every day…..

    • DCBlueBlood

People with cancer will die because of this now.

You’re responsible. Take Credit where Credit is Due !!!

      • SaidNO2Liberalism

Your moronic response convinced me that you need to be committed to an asylum.

        • DCBlueBlood

You do know that 13,000,000 will NOW lose health insurance … Congrats Killer!

          • SaidNO2Liberalism

            Not true

          • DCBlueBlood

Ah a fool and their insurance is soon parted …

The president, celebrating his $1.5 trillion tax cut with fellow Republicans at the South Portico of the White House, was midway through his remarks when he veered sharply off message.

“I shouldn’t say this,” Trump said, “but we essentially repealed Obamacare.”

OPPS … No, he probably shouldn’t have said it. But it’s true. Republicans, in rushing the tax bill to passage, kept fairly quiet about the fact that they were killing the “individual mandate” and thereby removing the engine that made the Affordable Care Act work. In doing so, they threw the health-care system into chaos without offering any remedy.

Trump just claimed paternity of the destruction.

LMAO … Yes The Cancer is now on YOU !!! Killer!

          • SaidNO2Liberalism

Do you think that’s fair to mandate a healthy individual to pay for someone else’s medical expenses? What about mandating a male to pay for female contraceptive insurance?

          • Rufus Firefly

Do you think it’s fair that all of us have to pay for people without insurance (healthy people get struck down, too)

          • Andrew Moore8

Why not….you don’t mind paying for illegals to be here…..so why should I give a sheet if you have to pay for a healthy person without insurance….I think every liberal in America should have to pay for everyone who works insurance….we deserve it and we demand it……ROFLMAO at you nim nuts.

          • Andrew Moore8

Then you should have saved a bit of money for that occasion…if you didn’t then so be it, you die in the gutter where you liberals belong….Personal responsibility is a biotch.

          • DCBlueBlood

In insurance – I’ve Been Licensed — YOU, doubt it – the rule is “A pool of large numbers” brings everyone’s cost down.

            Why — ????

Because not everyone gets sick, injured at the same time. DUH.

Health individuals get into car accidents, work accidents, all the time. Live at a base in NC and your water was poisoned. LMAO … so many idiots in the Con party.

          • SaidNO2Liberalism

I am trying extremely hard to understand your POV but what you opined makes no sense to me.

          • Andrew Moore8

Funny…..How do you explain the 50% premium increases in obummer care each and every year then? How do you explain the insurance companies pulling out of the exchanges because they were losing to much money? Your facts are a bit wrong there dill weed.

          • Tim maher

Wow so you are somewhat familiar with the law of large numbers. Good for you. But the American way is free market voluntary purchasing not communist forced redistribution.

          • Andrew Moore8

he is a liberal…he thinks you should pay for everything…his food, his clothes, his house, his car, his cell phone…..EVERYTHING.

          • Andrew Moore8

Good…obummer care was a train wreck from the beginning….I for one like most are glad it’s gone.

          • Tim maher

Careful. You’re giving train wrecks a bad name. Train wrecks are wonderful compared to obamacare.

          • SaidNO2Liberalism

You are not making any sense.

          • Andrew Moore8

ROFLMAO…..funny when obummer was pushing this train wreck he was only quoting 7 million without health care….but some how you numb nuts have exploded that number now to 13 million…..I find your comments rather amusing….I love to read what stupid people have to say about things.

          • Tim maher

Explain to me how “health insurance” one cannot use because of a $15,000.00 deductible is helping any one numb nuts. People have been required to pay for something that returns absolutely no value to them. Wake up people. That’s the socialist democrat way of redistributing “YOUR” money!

      • Andrew Moore8

People with cancer are dying now….that’s what cancer does….it kills people….the difference is now research companies will have the money to invest in new technology to speed up a cure to cure cancer so those people with cancer will not have to die…..I know you would rather give that money to your beloved illegal immigrant border crossers but alas YOUR president Trump isn’t going to let that happen. MAGA.

  • Rufus Firefly

Tax lawyers and accountants are already working on tax dodges to take advantage of all the new loopholes (both intentional and unintentional). LLCs and S corps are being formed to create new pass through entities. Are these the new companies that Trump is taking credit for?

    • Andrew Moore8

what’s wrong Rufus the Dufus….you afraid not going to be enough tax dollars to pay for your AIDS meds?

  • sanman99

Way to go Mr. President. Been a LONG time since I have said that!!!!

    • Rufus Firefly

Careful, If you are too effusive in your praise, you might have to move to DC to join the *president’s cabinet.

      • Andrew Moore8

Not a problem…served my country once already and wouldn’t mind doing it again….Nothing wrong with MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN….

    • DCBlueBlood

The sick kids with cancer are on your heads now.

When they throw granmom over the cliff and raid Medicare and Social Security next for the pay fors in this behemoth BS tax bill for Corps and the 1% the hell you will pay will be in flesh. Watch.

      • Andrew Moore8

holy cow….you mean there were no sick kids with cancer when obummer was president….holy cow how did we miss that he was the new coming of Jesus?????

about the same time you unclamp Rufus the Dufus from your behind.

    • Andrew Moore8

We already figured it out….we were smart enough to find a draft of the bill online, actually were able to read it because we don’t suffer with obummers common core education and we can actually read…and we agree with it and look forward to it. It’s you teat sucking morans on the left that didn’t read it, don’t understand it, and are about to lose your free ride on the tax payers dime….that is why you hate it.

  • internettoughguy

I wonder just how big a “victory it is to pass a bill that has a 30 percent public approval rating.

    • DCBlueBlood

It’s a victory to the Donor Class. The Middle Class – screwed over again by the CONS.

    • Tim maher

You would be surprised at the poll results if they would survey real voters and not MSLSD groupies.

      • WSWSapphire

Yes, as opposed to troll results, also

    • Dakota

Poles didn’t you learn anything last November’s election

      • internettoughguy

Not really. I already knew polls (not poles) weren’t perfect, Conducted properly they’re generally reliable, however. All polls showed the Clinton-Trump race close and tightening in the final week.

    • Rufus Firefly

It must at least be a landslide – the biggest ever, I can tell you. Believe me.

I don’t have a collage degree. I’ve been working in the oil field since 1978 I’ve managed to work my way up to well over 130k and I like the tax plan. I’ve made 32K this year on my 401K you’re taking points don’t hold water. Why is it ok to take anyone’s money and send it to Washington for them to waste tell me why this is good for anyone

Internet tough guy how much do you pay in taxes would you rather have your own money and pay your fare share.

It pretty bold for Washington to say you don’t pay enough

    • internettoughguy

      No one said that.

      • Andrew Moore8

        You did….

  • DCBlueBlood

    FUBAR Already —

The chaos is likely to take months — and perhaps longer — to sort out as the IRS begins writing the rules governing the law’s implementation. The agency has already said it doesn’t expect the tax tables helping employers decide how much in federal taxes should be withheld from workers’ paychecks to be ready until mid-January, allowing them to be implemented in February.

    • SaidNO2Liberalism

Are you going to be organizing the next howling-at-the-moon protest?

  • DCBlueBlood

The ClusterF Begins — “The IRS will be working closely with the nation’s payroll and tax professional community during this process,” the agency said in a statement.

But some tax experts are also concerned about the IRS’s ability to quickly address the mounting concerns. The agency has been attacked by Republicans for years and has seen its budget cut repeatedly, leading some to question whether it will be up to the task. When the IRS’s former commissioner, John Koskinen, stepped down last month, he blamed Congress for underfunding the agency.

“I don’t know how the IRS is going to enforce this stuff. They have to write regulations, give guidance to taxpayers. They are probably going to feel the brunt of this more than anyone,” said Willens, the tax attorney.

Any delay could sow doubts among taxpayers, many of whom, polls show, are already suspicious of the legislation’s benefits.

“Some employees are going to be anticipating that in their first paycheck in January, they are going to see this big tax cut, and that is not going to happen,” said PenSoft’s Salavejus. “There is still a lot of work to be done.”

  • Butthep

AT&T internally announced to layoff its employees in Southwest region last week.

  • DCBlueBlood

For many people, the law renders obsolete the calculations companies use to withhold taxes from their paychecks, potentially leading some workers to not set aside enough for federal taxes and face a penalty. The American Payroll Association is warning of a potential “disaster” as companies wait to update their computer systems to reflect the changes.

    The ClusterF Begins!

  • internettoughguy

This bill isn’t even popular among white voters without a college degree – aka the Trump base. I don’t get it. This really does seem like an act of political suicide.

    • SaidNO2Liberalism

You are correct with that assumption. The democrat voting base, uneducated white voters, is actually and factually stupid.

      • internettoughguy

I thought our base was coastal elites. That’s a silly stereotype but not as silly as what you just posted.

        • SaidNO2Liberalism

Coastal elites aren’t necessarily educated. Or does a degree from University of Phoenix being considered as such?

CONGRATULATIONS YOU GAVE 2018 To DEMS !!!

    • Dakota

      You have obama care

  • Bill Jr

Just One Question, If They Passed This Why Couldn’t (or Wouldn’t) They Put Obama Care To Bed For Good and Fund a Wall?

    • nfcapitalist

Communists threats, blackmail, agitation propaganda, and the Congress funded the wall under Obama but that executive branch refused to spend those dollars for that… think about why when drugs and their use are the progressives voter constituents.

  • Tim maher

Actually, Americans wanted it. We don’t need socialist spending our money for us.

    • DCBlueBlood

Wow – you swallowed it hook, line and sinker … Fooled Cons.

Middle Class American’s were baited and switched!

      • Twinkle Toes

What exactly do you think was baited and switched?

  • DCBlueBlood

Donors to Republicans wanted this bill. If they didn’t get it they were walking away.

  • DCBlueBlood

Trump basically admitted that the GOP’s talking points on the bill weren’t exactly honest in two major ways.

    1. While talking about the corporate tax rate being cut from 35 percent to 21 percent, Trump said, “That’s probably the biggest factor in our plan.”

They’ve been arguing that the middle-class tax cuts are what this bill was all about, and Trump just said that’s not actually the main feature.

    2. Trump’s second admission was about the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate being repealed in the bill. Apparently eager to argue that this constituted his having cut taxes and slain Obamacare in one fell swoop (after Congress came up short on Obamacare this year), he argued that repealing the individual mandate was basically the same as repealing Obamacare.

… What Trump Lied WHA? NO WAY He’s such a winner. Winners Must Lie and Cheat!

LMAO! Fooled the Middle Class Beer Drinkers Again! DOH!

  • DCBlueBlood

So now Democrats have clips of the president talking about how this was really more about the corporate tax cuts all along and saying he just undid Obamacare — both of which weren’t part of the argument for the bill.

They also happen to be pretty good talking points, with the latter being something Democrats can credibly use to force Republicans into ownership of whatever happens with the American health-care system from now on.

Trump’s desire to claim dual victories and strategic dominance appear to have gotten the better of him here.

You Break It You Buy It!

        • Tim maher

    • Tim maher

Believe it or not the American people are smart enough to know who destroyed the best system of health care in the world so the democrats will always own it. It won’t take too much to come up with something infinitely better than out rageously priced Obama care with no useable coverage due to high deductibles. Then perhaps we will have a great system again. Just one of the many fixes President Trump is faced with as he repairs all the Obama damage.

  • DCBlueBlood

    TAX problem?

Republicans have been selling this legislation as a middle-class tax cut, first and foremost.

    A sampling:

“The entire purpose of this is to lower middle class taxes.” — House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.)

“Primarily, and priority number one, is middle-class Americans.” — White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders

“The theme behind this bill is to get middle-class tax relief for most people in the middle class.” — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Fox News on Tuesday

And polls show Republicans have bought into this, with around 6 in 10 believing the bill favored the middle class over the wealthy — despite the biggest cuts going to the wealthy and the corporate cuts being permanent (unlike the personal tax cuts).

    Shame it’s a SHAM!

    • Tim maher

Obviously multiple positive results are too complicated and more than you can deal with at one time. That’s ok. You can concentrate on them one at a time if you need to. We don’t mind.

“Over the longer term, we continue to approach capital deployment strategically and opportunistically and our priorities are as follows: One: invest in the business. As I mentioned earlier, we are continuing to invest in infrastructure and quality assurance processes and to enhance our services and solutions product offerings all to better serve our customers and drive organic growth. Two: strategic M&A. We are always evaluating ways we could further add to our value proposition and grow AmerisourceBergen through the addition of best-in-class and market-leading businesses. We are interested in enhancing our broad range of core capabilities to better upstream and downstream customers and build on our proven track records on M&A and success. Three: share repurchases. We are open to and have board authorization for continued buyback of AmerisourceBergen shares, and we will repurchase when we believe it is the optimal way to build shareholder value. And finally, four: dividends. We remain committed to providing shareholders with a reasonable dividend.”

This unseemly obsequiousness on the part of these republiecon lawmakers is more evidence of the abdication of their constitutional responsibilities. Next, we’ll see T35 armbands and our own reichswehreid, with tax deductions for Trumpjugend. Maybe special placards for store owners are coming, too. Hail, Trump.

    • internettoughguy

We needn’t worry. Donald Trump is not the stuff from which dictators are made. Most dictators, autocrats and strongmen have one thing in common. They really are “strong men.” Trump is a whiny little girl. Always crying about how unfair everybody is to him.

  • internettoughguy

When corporations use this windfall to do massive stock buybacks and pay shareholder dividends instead of creating jobs or raising wages, at least no one can claim they’re surprised. They TOLD us that’s what they’re going to do. “Trickle down” (aka voodoo) economics didn’t work in the 1980’s and it won’t work now. Republicans are going to pay for this in the 2018 midterm elections.

    • CDG

I guess you haven’t read about all the major companies (AT&T, Boeing, and Comcast to name a few.) already announcing pay increase for non executive employees, Christmas bonuses, and millions of dollars in investments in business infrastructure. They all thank the President (who has actually met with, and understands, business and business leaders) and Congress for making this happen. This is not the 1980’s, its 2017. To attempt to compare the U.S. economy then to today is a fallacy.

      • internettoughguy

        I hope you’re right.

        • CDG

We both should hope for success. Regardless of political party the ultimate goal is the success of the America.

      • WSWSapphire

Thanks for pointing that out. I’ve seen many a troll with the line “didn’t work in the 80’s”. They think they can try to make apples & oranges look like apples & apples, just like that video OAN has here showing how they try to do just that.

      • PatrickJ

Thank you, CDG. It is true that we have deal with the economy we are facing right now, instead of one in another era many years past.

      • Rufus Firefly

AT&T is merely sucking up to Trump. They want their merger.

    • PatrickJ

You know, for an internet tough guy, you don’t seem so tough at all. I think you need to change your moniker. Before we get to know each other better, what exactly is it that makes you tough? Just asking.

      • internettoughguy

Nothing. I’m not tough. I thought the avatar would make it clear that the name is a joke.

        • PatrickJ

My sincere apologies. I get the humor. So you are basically with the group who think this tax cut proposal is just going to make companies that are already rich to begin with, even richer. That about right? By the way, I am not going after you here for what you believe. I’m making an attempt to get everything clear before we actually begin a conversation about this.

          • internettoughguy

Yes that’s what I believe. I also think something as important as rewriting the U.S. tax code should not have been rushed and rammed through just so Donald Trump could have a “victory” before the end of the year.

          • PatrickJ

Okay, now that we understand each other, let’s just take it back to a normal conversation, instead of an argument. Fair enough? By the way, I like the way you present yourself after all the anger is out of the way.

          • PatrickJ

So, what would you have had in this bill that is different from what is in this bill?

          • PatrickJ

Might surprise you, but I agree with you. Something as monumental as tax reform should have been deliberated for a longer period of time. There is no question it was rushed through for political reasons.

Indeed, if we had been able to spend more time on it, the whole thing would have turned out even better. But often, the political environment that exists right now doesn’t come even close to permitting that.

          • nfcapitalist

Note to PatrickJ… when the goose stepping conformists in the house and senate vote in dress-right-dress unison NO… you know they are afraid of something.

The only thing that makes a group this large willing to vote in perfect unison is fear… maybe hatred or maybe the weaker few are being blackmailed… odd?

          • PatrickJ

Well, you seem to have the floor right now as I type this, so what are these people afraid of? What is it that you think threatens them?

          • nfcapitalist

George Soros owns the Brown shirts now known as ANTIFA and he’s bought several city blocks in San Francisco that are no go zones for several investigative reporters who tried to enter those lines and were turned back with threats.

          • nfcapitalist

These people don’t have conversations, they just spew hate and that’s actually unfortunate because I’d really like to know what they want… but it seems they don’t know what they want… odd?

It’s what I sincerely believe. About the only thing Donald Trump has been consistent about throughout his life has been his racism. On everything else he’s been all over the place. Furthermore, I believe the entire Trump movement was founded on and fueled by a racist backlash against the country’s first black president.

          • landy fincannon

What do you base that understanding on?

Whatever you think a ‘racist’ consists of, you need to get some real world experience and find out that it’s not like you think, not at all. Indeed, your statement is the most racist, vile thing I’ve seen posted in some days.
Grow up and learn to think before you spout off. No matter how ‘tough’ you think you are, there are many tougher than you out there, and many of them will not put up with your level of stupidity and arrogant ignorance. This tax bill is all about JOBS!

People who have jobs and are optimistic about the future WILL spend money, just like the 80’s.

          • WSWSapphire

Well… I was gonna look up Lincoln first.

          • landy fincannon

            Just a hint of dislike?

          • WSWSapphire

Don’t know what you mean. But you recommended some reading on Lincoln, and then it disappeared. I had bookmarked the topic, but hadn’t made a handwritten note of the resource you cited.
Some posts of yours I disagree with, though don’t comment on. But I don’t have dislike for you as a poster. If you mean a hint of dislike of Lincoln, as the post says, I was gonna look up Lincoln first – meaning I hadn’t done so yet, and figured you knew it was impossible, as the info is gone. I figured why bother with the new stuff, if a person pulled a source after I stated that’s what would likely take the most time to research b/f actually reading, and then gives me more sources, I just plain don’t have time to chase after likely-conspiracy fantasies. I suppose it’s possible for there to be a credible source there. But I’m not that hard up for something to do, and I definitely don’t have time to waste researching whether stuff I’m not too interested in is credible.

          • landy fincannon

I just found it a little tactless.

What I wanted you to look up was the Corwin amendment.
In it’s context , the Corwin A proves yhe War of Northern Aggression wasn’t fought exclusively over slavery.

          • WSWSapphire

            Imo-
From my perspective: “Why not ask me?” while adding further sources to look into 1)Seemed somewhat mocking even if not intended – as you asked me to get back to you in your previous posting -I said ok, in 2 mos., then found the post gone. From there –
you say here’s some more. – Btw, I don’t have a clue as to the topic involved 2)Seemed rude -you didn’t mention anything about the deleted info & even more rude in 2nd reply when you still give no explanation -just here, read this. You only hope to skew Lincoln & whoever else is in the stuff you posted this time & try to get others to believe in your sham/regressive backward Stone Ages socialist agenda.
At this point, I could care less if it appeared tactless to you. You’re prob. much younger than I orig. thought. H/e, doesn’t matter whether you’re 30 or 60, you want respect, but don’t give it.
Unlike you, I will tell you what I meant to convey with ‘I was gonna look up Lincoln first’. That is: skepticism of sincerity in your post -by reminding you of the info that disappeared; disinterest b/c of your insincerity.
I’ve written Corwin down- may get to it in 6 mos. Will not get back to you, even if it’s a conspiracy I could smash like a boulder on cotton candy, as I don’t care to be around disrespectful people any more than I have to.
For the purpose of insight when judging my words: Who I am- Woman w/a husband; Spent 2 yrs. overseas,15 yrs. TX, 30 yrs.OK., past 5 UK. (You add up the years… there’s my ‘demand’ to your several ‘demands’). I would have checked into all if you had been sincere.
            That’s all.

I cannot remember product prices being reduced by much once raised, except perhaps for competitive pricing. Maybe some technology is cheaper–more bang for your buck, so to speak.

      • landy fincannon

Indeed. Here in Texas we went through a two year drought.
Even there eas a huge sell off of cattle the price of beef still went up.

I sure do miss a good steak. Lol

        • Jenny O

          Steak for me, too!
I spent three decades limiting my beef consumption based upon all of the published health “advice”. They’ve changed their tune on a few items over that time.

According to the new Tax Act bill, the individual mandate penalty does not get rid
off until 2019. This means that I will have to pay the penalty for this
tax year (2017) as well as the next tax year (2018). So, on one hand, I get $4000 tax decrease
through the new Tax Act next year but, on the other hand, this money is
taken away from me as an individual tax penalty for 2017 and 2018. Where is my tax gain? We were all told that the Obamacare individual tax mandate
will be repealed the first day in office, i.e. 2017? And yet, I will have to continue paying it again
    for two more years!!

    • Jenny O

I saw that. I wonder what the financial rationale was for the delay.

    • Rufus Firefly

Losing your trust in the con man?

  • aldoro

To me “Victory” would have been to eliminate the “death tax”. There is NO victory when Trump caved in to the democrats on that.

    • Jenny O

      Was it modified, though?

      • KMA

Yes, it has doubled the amount of the estate tax exempt from taxation.

        • internettoughguy

That’s really going to help coal miners.

          • Jenny O

Wow. Coal miners make more than the exempted amount to be taxed?

          • Jenny O

Don’t know you enough to expect sarcasm. Sorry.
You won’t get kicked off. Breitbart commenters seem to be pretty inflexible.

          • internettoughguy

It’s not a death tax. It’s an inheritance tax. The dead person isn’t taxed. Why shouldn’t their heirs pay taxes on money being given to them that they didn’t work for?

      • Jenny O

Because the dead person has already been taxed on that money. I
I don’t want my children/grandchildren to pay taxes on money on which I have already paid taxes. I saved to pass on to them! Not so the fed government could waste it.

  • TEXAS HEALTH NUT

Wonder what all those AT & T people that are Dem’s think now that they are getting a bonus thanks to President Trump?

    • likwyd

For anyone wondering, AT&T are giving 200,00+ employees $1,000 each. And they’ll get it over the holidays if POTUS signs the tax reform bill before Christmas.

      • WSWSapphire

Thanks for the info… surprised though. A family member of mine set up the e-mail acct. for one of the two that make up the nickname Chancy, and lost the AT&T job held for years, as testing was done and the machine was broken so test couldn’t be completed, and was given a fail. Union kept having meetings & claiming it would be easy to get a retest on a different machine. Never happened. A co-worker got the ax as well for the same thing.
Nice for the employees, though to get the bonus, as they deserve it, and great they won’t have to use it to pay for the mandate. Just wonder about AT&T motives…

        • likwyd

Not just AT&T. Comcast/NBC Universal released the same statement.
“Based on the passage of tax reform and the FCC’s action on broadband, Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and CEO, announced that the company would award special $1,000 bonuses to more than one hundred thousand eligible frontline and non-executive employees.”
They also expect to spend well in excess of $50 billion over the next five years investing in infrastructure, television, film, and theme park offerings. Expecting to add thousands of direct and indirect jobs.

          Also…
Fifth Third Bancorp (Wells Fargo) will pay more than 13,500 employees a $1,000 bonus and raise their minimum wage to $15 for nearly 3.000 workers after the passage of the tax plan.

          • WSWSapphire

That’s really good news. I just saw your comment re AT&T, and how Trump brought them to the table, so hoping there’s a change for the better. He’s great at winning people over & getting them to see the light. Similar to the first week of his presidency, getting Ford to stay. I remember the photo after the meeting and all those execs smiling in the pic w/Trump.

          • likwyd

Ford is still moving low volume, electric SUV production to Mexico.

          • WSWSapphire

Guess they think it’s worth the penalty. I’d heard they’d done something there, but didn’t know what. But if the electrics are as bad as the light bulbs w/the new wattage numbers were, that GE, I think, had done in Mexico, they’re in for SUVs that end up causing traffic jams. At least that’s not their biggest selling vehicle, though.

          • WSWSapphire

Really great news with Comcast/NBC. Wonderful to hear. Do you know if MSM is reporting it?

          • likwyd

I haven’t ventured in to those dark depths to find out. 😉

          • WSWSapphire

Lol I hate going there, too, so I don’t. But sometimes I see people here post the parts I’m interested in, even though it’s usually pretty awful reporting. In this case, seems like it would be tough for them to bypass, as I would think it would be big news in newspapers and at the local level. Happy employees will be talking, too…

          • WSWSapphire

And Wells Fargo & Boeing. Wow- didn’t read it close enough earlier. All the improvements, investment, jobs. Don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like that. No wonder Pres. Trump in his acceptance said “We’re gonna win… and win. We’re gonna win so much you’re gonna say Stop, we’re winning too much. I can’t take it.” He’d been noticing & evaluating everything for 20-30 yrs. or so.

The democrat party has been cooped by socialists. They want to rule over the little people on the welfare plantation. President Trump is setting their take over agenda back by a hundred years so the socialist liberals are losing their minds.

  • Disgusted Caucasian

This a watered down effort due to the swamp rats demanding this and that. The corporate rate is still too high at 21% and the highest individual rate of 37% is only down from 39%. That is hardly noticeable and not likely to cause the one percenters to go out and start spending money they still don’t have. If they would have REALLY wanted growth, then the corporate rate should have been dropped to at least 15% and there should be an across the board flat tax, that everyone pays, of 8% with no deductions. Of course, that would make sense and the swamp is shooting for an anemic recovery that makes Trump look foolish and makes the establishment R’s look like heroes to their idiot voters.

I know it’s better than nothing at all, but it could have been so much more.

    • CDG

Of course it could have been better. However, in our Republic it was necessary to appease numerous Representives and Senators with different views regardless of party affiliation. As you said, it’s better than nothing. Despite the setback in Alabama the 2018 mid terms will decide how far the President can take his agenda. He cannot do it alone.

    • aldoro

So true. As much as I love President Trump, he caved.

      • WSWSapphire

If he hadn’t ‘caved’ as you describe it, what do you think would have been the result? (I call it a good compromise which will be improved upon later but still great benefit as is. Stock market improved every time there was news of this getting closer to being passed.)

      • Jenny O

I prefer to think he made a deal.

    • Twinkle Toes

Tell that to all the Democrats whining about keeping social programs including Obamacare and giving money to foreign nations. Personally I think we should help people who are clearly disabled and we have a responsibility to take care of our Vets, everyone else, no.

      • WSWSapphire

Yes, conservatives aren’t against welfare. We believe there should be as few as possible on it, is all. Lib/socialists(elite ones) believe all should be on it, excepting themselves. By then, it’s not called a welfare program. It’s just called a Socialist republic.

  • Roy Beane

And the mainstream fake media just couldn’t stand it……No respect at all. Before he could even finish his speech and turn the mike over to someone else, these dirty baztard fakers were already finding fault and doing everything they could to attack, besmirch, and generally throw crap all over the whole event. They give snakes and slimy lizards a bad name.

    • CDG

The Leftists would rather our nation burned than the President’s policies succeed. This would prove there policies are failures. They are also in massive denial and think they will somehow be “ok” if the President’s agenda fails. Sad and disturbing.

Is it anything new? 1948 – Israeli in war with 5 arab armies – socialist Ben Gurion ordered to annihilate by artillery “Altalena” ship loaded with weapon and Jewish fighters on board because 20% of it’s load and all people on the board was assigned to conservative Jewish movement leaded by Ben Gurion’s political opponent – Menachem Begin.
Just because Begin value creating Jewish State more important, than his power over newborn country and didn’t start civil war – today we have prosperous State of Israel.

          • WSWSapphire

True, but no one needs reminding of the libs with proven allegations, as they pop up near daily(and MSM sure doesn’t focus on them, though the focus keeps landing on them…Matt L., Chris M., Charlie R. to name a few–don’t think we’ll forget them, either & the few Repubs. who have proven allegations. I have long admired Ben Carson. Glad to hear of his success at HUD and navigating through bureaucracy.

  • SaidNO2Liberalism

    I love that man! MAGA!

    • All American

Never doubted the man we call President🇺🇸

  • CDG

Immigration reform, DACA, and the Wall, need to be next on the Trump/Congress calendar in January. 🇺🇸

    • thecleaner45

Give him time. He’s not God. He’s moved mountians in the little time he’s been in. Hell by this time when failire barry was in office we were 14 trillion in debt and it all went over seas not to anyone or thing in America.

      • WSWSapphire

And they ‘awarded’ oboy the Nobel peace prize… Go figure. Sure lowered the prestige of the Nobel peace prize

As Bruce Willis said on the asteroid “Please God, just a little help.”

          • Twinkle Toes

There’s an old saying: if you want to get the job done right, do it yourself. Too bad our Senate didn’t get the message because President Trump sure did!

          • Sane_Person37

DJ Trump is Not a politician. Thank God and it is why he was elected. I hope it is a movement and the movement sustains !

Well there goes my comcast bill, up up up…

        • Living in the Times

          Get Sling TV.

          • HarryObrian

Haven’t had cable tv for years, just internet.

        • TexasDeplorable1134

          Get rid of Comcast. Simple.

          • HarryObrian

No offense but you’ve obviously missed the communication monopolies being allowed to grow over the past 20 years. There is nothing but CC where I live and for 100 miles around.

          • TexasDeplorable1134

Hmm, where I live it is either satellite or Wi-Max. Cable is not an option. We have seen a proliferation in our area of these types as cable companies will not expand into our area as it is too costly to run the fiber. Sounds like an opportunity to create such an infrastructure in your area as well. With deregulation, it may now be even easier.

      • Living in the Times

Libby hypocrites won’t be crying when they get their tax returns and employment bonuses (if applicable) now will they! I hope none of the tax breaks apply to the actors that bashed Trump. They need a good taste of Karma!!!!!

        • Big Al

Karma….I bet Libtards pretend to be pissed when they see their paychecks are bigger, lol –

      • TexasDeplorable1134

But, but, it will be Armageddon! Well, at least Pelosi got that right. This was a battle of good vs. evil and evil lost!

        • Big Al

          Uselessness is pelosi’s best trait…..

I say, going from Armageddon to ..I’m-a-gettin.. a Tax Cut, lol

    • Sane_Person37

Now, imagine the hildebeast in the White House. I know makes your skin crawl.. Does even more than that to me.

      • Big Al

Cease and desist – Friggin’ giving me Nightmares again!

        • Sane_Person37

For me the beast would have been 100 times worse than Barry. Imagine that….

          • WSWSapphire

I think many would have moved to another country for real!

          • Sane_Person37

I would certainly have considered it. Another clinton at this point would be the end of America. Even now, we are just this far away.

      • Twinkle Toes

        HilLarry who🧐😝

        • Living in the Times

          Chuckle.
