A new poll shows an increasingly wide gap in the primary race for Alabama’s Senate seat.

The survey from the Trafalgar Group shows former State Chief Justice Roy Moore has 35% support.

Luther Strange — who was appointed to fill the seat left by Attorney General Jeff Sessions earlier this year — has 23% of the vote.

He also has the support of President Trump but other Republican leaders are split on their support.

Congressman Mo Brooks rounds out the top three with 20%.

This is the largest lead in a poll for Moore, as previous data has shown just a single digit lead for him.

  1. The turtle (McConnell) is is doing everything he can to Luther (is) Strange elected. Because Strange will be McConnell’s lap dog. Luther (is) Strange is a RINO just like McConnell. Mo Brooks is the best choice IMO.

Why is it that the self-professed “christian” posters are, by far, the least christian seeming people anywhere on Earth. Truly disgusting…….

  3. xeriscapelady | August 12, 2017 at 6:55 pm |

I don;t understand why TRUMP supports Luther Strange. I understand he replaced Jeff Sessions and is like TRUMP in all ways. But Roy Moore would be a better choice as he is tested by fir and I think he would stand strong with TRUMP on every issue. I guess either is good

  4. Judge Roy Moore is a godly man and has my vote.

  5. Judge Roy Moore might actually be a good candidate to appoint to the Supreme Court and perhaps as a Senator win over a few backers.

  6. Brooks is a ‘never trumper’…Keep him out!!

  7. Great man!!!

  8. constitutiononly | August 12, 2017 at 10:24 am |

    The REAL conservative should win.

  9. BillyBatson | August 12, 2017 at 9:34 am |

Strange is the President’s choice because he won’t be a pain in the ass blocker of Trump’s agenda to
    Make America Great Again.

  10. Roy Moore, nah I don’t think so. No support from me.

  11. Roy Moore is a good man he stood his ground with the 10 Commandments and now we need him in the Senate to kick McConnell out of the President Pro temp slot…. Where can I send my donation to Roy?

Sonny… thank you for your comment.

Our current generation lacks any and all moral fortitude, will NOT defend the country if we have to implement the draft, believe their education should be free, think babies can be flushed down the toilet, and who deny their biological gender, etc…. These people are in the wrong country – they hate America the people and who made it great so I recommend the following:

The “vagina heads” (Leaders are Ashley Judd and Madonna) need to take their message on the road (bring along Streisand, Rosie O’Donnell, Whoopie, Clinton girls, Obama girls, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Wasserman-Schultz, Maxine Watters, Donna Brazil, Feinstein) to Iran, Saudia Aradia, Pakistan, Syria, Venezeula, North Korea, Turkey, Kenya, Russia, etc.. They can spend 3 months there WITHOUT THEIR BODYGUARDS sharing their “point of view” about racists, sexists, haters, facists, anti religiion, anti gender, and my favorite “man spreading.” They can report back in to us via uTube about their results.

Roy Moore is exactly what we need in government.

  12. With Alabama being the 4th poorest, 4th dumbest and 2nd fattest state in the nation, it’s no surprise that the horde of Biblically brainwashed, sub-educated gumps who inhabit much of the state would favor a delusional holy roller like Moore. It would be fitting for one of America’s most scientifically challenged state populations to send a bigoted creationist to the US Senate.

In a state widely populated by those gullible and ignorant enough to believe the earth is less than 10,000 years old and that dinosaurs rode around for a year on a giant wooden boat with 8 people, Roy Moore is the perfect fit.

    • tiredoftaxes31 | August 12, 2017 at 8:07 am |

You’re in the wrong country doeatdog. It was started by Puritans.

A “women Holy roller” with a Masters in Engineering from Cornell that runs a global IT company who can proudly say her best friend is a beautiful black woman who is also educated

Stick that in your ear moron

      • A PhD does not magically make someone hold religious faith to a higher standard of evidence and reason than the non-college educated, although statistically it does suggest a person is more likely to do so. Of course there are always exceptions…

It’s a safe bet to assume your PhD isn’t in a hard science or American history.

I could not imagine a more glowing or a more inspirering or motivating recommendation for Roy Moore then the one you just gave him.

      • Forgot to add – Alabama #1 in prescription opioid use.

Someone should ask Roy Moore why Jesus and his dad enjoy keeping Alabama so poor, dumb, fat and addicted to opioids. Apparently the gumps need to pray harder.

        • Veritatis Splendor | August 12, 2017 at 7:34 pm |

The devil is working overtime all the time as we can tell from your posts.

        • Harvey Gamel | August 13, 2017 at 7:02 am |

As poor, dumb, fat and addicted is the plan, it looks like Alabama is actually doing a pretty good job…..

        • So, how much do YOU weigh? What is your annual income, and tell us…What is YOUR drug of choice? You are 99% likely to be just another ignorant leftist idiot/hypocrite.

          • My personal situation, which you wouldn’t believe, has absolutely no bearing on why Jesus likes keeping Dixie so fat, dumb, poor and addicted to opiods. At some point an objective, reasonable person has to ask themselves – is anyone even listening to our prayers? The answer seems pretty obvious…

          • Thanks! You show us the “idiot’s dodge.” Fun to poke a finger into someone Else’s ribs; but, not so much into your own, huh doofus?

          • Yes, I dodged an idiot. Not sure who sold you the ability to see my bathroom scale and my W2 from across the internet, but you should demand a refund….or pray harder.

          • Once again, you brain dead worm. Thanks for proving what a worthless waste of flesh you really are. TROLL!!

      • Harvey Gamel | August 13, 2017 at 7:02 am |

        no imagination – strike two….

  13. EXCELLENT! This man has proved his love of the LORD!
When you get up there, don’t forget to watch the back stabbing M(B)itch McConnell.

  14. Al, please support Justice chief Moore for Senate seat. We are behind him.

    • xeriscapelady | August 12, 2017 at 7:23 pm |

You do realize that Strange also is 100% conservative, a Christian and a loyal TRUMP man don’t you?

  15. Go Judge Moore.

  16. Trump’s endorsement of Strange actually helped Moore by taking votes away from Brooks, an outspoken never-Trumper.

  17. Love this guy!!!

  18. It’s a paid troll. Good call.

  19. A marcus Young | August 11, 2017 at 5:11 pm |

Same, liberal media fake poll data that permeated that last election. Alabama is still the same Democrat, Jim crow state it has always been. Ironic that it produced a great Republican such as Sessions.

  20. WoundedChristian | August 11, 2017 at 4:17 pm |

I wish Judge Moore would run for President.

  21. Trump endorsed Luther Strange… Luther has voted with Trump on everything by the budget (when he voted anti-Swamp/compromise, with Cruz and Rand). He has approved all of his nominees and to repeal healthcare, among other things. He is reliable for moving Trumps agenda forward.

    • It’s pretty clear that Trump’s base doesn’t agree with him on Strange or he would be leading.

  22. sgt joe rock | August 11, 2017 at 3:16 pm |

any repub who questions this man should be voted out.

  23. Barry Soetoro-Chin | August 11, 2017 at 3:11 pm |

Roy Moore would be an AWESOME replacement for Jeff Sessions. He’s got my vote.

    • A marcus Young | August 11, 2017 at 7:26 pm |

      He is a Democrat.

    • Trump Our Greatest POTUS | August 12, 2017 at 6:14 am |

      comrade bye

    • BillyBatson | August 12, 2017 at 9:40 am |

Mr. Strange is President Trump’s pick…Why go against him now when he needs all of us the most?!

      • Barry Soetoro-Chin | August 12, 2017 at 10:46 am |

I’m sure Mr. Strange would be an outstanding Senator but, all I know about him is what I’ve read from my research.

I’ve done my research on Roy Moore, have met him and talked with him at length and think he would be an even better Senator.

        So, we’ll.

        • Veritatis Splendor | August 12, 2017 at 11:29 am |

Roy Moore is a conservative, a Christian and a person of good character. Everyone admired his stance on the ten commandments. He knows how to take the heat and do the right thing. There are three good choices. The good people of Alabama are well able choose. God bless them!

          • Barry Soetoro-Chin | August 12, 2017 at 12:18 pm |

            Amen, brother!

Too bad the other 49 states don’t have three legitimate conservatives to choose from, especially Arizona, South and North Carolina, Florida, Nevada, West Virginia, Alaska and Maine.

          • xeriscapelady | August 12, 2017 at 7:21 pm |

Yes in Fl we have a liberal pinko lying democrat and a RHINO Rep. who hates TRUMP but lies like he does SOME.

          • Barry Soetoro-Chin | August 13, 2017 at 7:56 am |

‘Little Marco’ with his tiny feet and equally tiny hands?

          • They have a better choice than we did for POTUS.

      • NativeCalifornian | August 13, 2017 at 1:59 pm |

        Hi Billy,

Regardless of whether President Trump supports Strange or not, McConnell and the Washington Establishment and the RINOs support Strange and THAT should be a definite warning sign. It is also true that they fear Judge Moore the most and that too should send a definitely positive signal. Furthermore, the GOP entities are spending millions to defeat a strong Republican conservative in a a PRIMARY!!! That is what they have done for decades… eliminating those who might upset their game plan. Moore is the obvious choice for any true conservative. I am a Republican, but decades ago i saw this game.. the party raises money from conservative and then uses it in the PRIMARY to eliminate the most conservative candidates. Anyway, Moore is the best choice and he already leads by double digits so why are they wasting contributions on Strange and Brooks? Probably because Moore is NOT in their pocket like Strange. Yet another confirmation that Moore is the best choice. Finally, here in California I am stuck with 2 extremely liberal senators and I would like to put in my two cents worth for a conservative counter to my two senators that I am praying God will save and change or replace. Please Alabama… get Roy Moore in there on the first ballot. Consider this a plea from a conservative in California. Most of all pray for Moore and our country. Thanks for listening!

      • AnimashaunWashington | August 13, 2017 at 5:47 pm |

Mr. Strange is will be counter productive. Mr. Strange is in Mitch McConnell’s camp. In order for President Trump to be truly successful he is going to need more conservative advise. Teaming up in any kind of way with these filthy vile Democrats is a trap. If the Democrat like what POTUS is saying then he should always tread lightly. If the hate what he is doing then most likely he is doing the correct thing. Sounds simple but true.

  24. Judge Roy Moore would be a good addition to the Senate, to join with Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul….and the extremely few others who actually know and follow the Constitution.

    • William Everett Hendry bhendry | August 12, 2017 at 8:50 am |

and who currently block every good push that our President wants to get completed like tax reform and healthcare……at least he’s a Republican but with that crew you suggest he’s just another stumbling block…

      • Actually, it is not Mike Lee, Ted Cruz or Rand Paul blocking tax reform, or a repeal of Obamacare, since they are the ones who are fighting to repeal Obamacare.

Perhaps you think they should ignore the Constitution and vote for something that is as bad as or worse than Obamacare just to say….hey look, the Republicans passed a bill.

        • xeriscapelady | August 12, 2017 at 7:18 pm |

Yes they are the heros fighting for us and wanting what TRUMP wants. WE need more of them. McCain needs to go..one way or another. he stopped the REPEAL. He is a traitor. He already is …disobeyed order in Nam, was hot down and injured. Dad was real admiral so he was NOT tortured . He is a LIE and TRUMP knew it. I would have said the whole thing so people know what McCain really is.

        • AnimashaunWashington | August 13, 2017 at 5:37 pm |

Nailed it! Obama so called “care” is a form of tyranny.

      • Every one of them voted for the Senate repeal bill, imperfect though it was. In fact, Cruz is the one who proposed a compromise amendment to help satisfy the Tuesday Group, and the Marxist Gang of Three are the ones who eventually sank it.

      • AnimashaunWashington | August 13, 2017 at 5:36 pm |

In order for there to be real progress, real victories the conservative spectrum of the Republican party is what all the Republicans should be like. If theses pseudo Republicans are just a hinderance to “true” victories. The conservative always get blamed and always used as scapegoats because there are principles of Americanism that they promote and standby. This is the real reason they are attacked. But these pseudo Republicans are always cornered and agreeing with the Democrats. Now the Democrats really don’t want true progress. If they did they would leave us “all” alone.

    • BillyBatson | August 12, 2017 at 9:38 am |

The time for those you mentioned will come AFTER Trump;s agenda is accomplished.
Let them back Trump now and he and We The American People will back them later.

      • You either support the Constitution or you do not. It is obvious you do not.

If you refuse to support those who fight for the Constitution, simply because you think they are not supporting Trump enough is absurd.

        • AnimashaunWashington | August 13, 2017 at 5:42 pm |

Yes. This is what people should be focusing on. We need less government control in all of our lives. That means that these vile politicians will stop creating onerous laws. Less laws/less regulations. More freedom.

      • Supposedly, Trump’s agenda is to close the borders, deport illegals, repeal Obamacare, and tax reform among other things. Every one of those objectives is supported by the Senate (and House) conservatives. The so-called RINOs (led by McConnell) are the ones blocking Trump’s agenda.

    • You should have stopped after “Judge Roy Moore would be a good addition to the senate”. The rest of your statement is suspect to scrutiny.

      • Not at all. Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and in many cases Rand Paul are the ones fighting for the Constitution, they are the ones fighting to repeal Obamacare, they were the ones who fought to stop Obamacare….

There are not many in the Senate that are actual Conservatives and fight for the Constitution, and there are only a few more in the House, with Brat, Garrett, Gohmert, and a few others.

If your issue is Cruz ran against Trump, grow up.

  25. Yes sir another Jesus freak and bigot in Congress
