A new poll shows most voters believe Judge Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed by the Senate to the Supreme Court.

A Harvard CAPS – Harris Poll, released to The Hill Thursday, showed 81-percent of respondents believe he will be confirmed.

The survey also found respondents are split on when the Senate should hold a vote.

31-percent say the vote should be put off until next year, while 25-percent say it should be held this year.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell plans to hold a vote ahead of the midterm elections. However, Senate Democrats are now calling to stall the vote until after November.
