The Pentagon is scouting West Coast locations to install new anti-missile defenses, as tensions with North Korea escalate.
On Saturday, Republican congressman Mike Rogers said the missile defense agency was looking to install a THAAD system on the West Coast.
This comes days after Pyongyang launched a missile it claims is capable of reaching the United States mainland.
South Korea installed the same system in September to protect the nation against possible missile launches from Pyongyang.
