The Pentagon announces its approval for the recruitment of transgender troops in opposition of President Trump’s order to stop the enlistment of trans-individuals.

    ok so lets cut the BS…The statistics are that at least 40% of Trans people attempt suicide at some point, most suffer from depression and a host of other medicated mental conditions…yea, lets let them go to war and suffer the mental assault that war provides…we already have 22 military and vets committing suicide every day…and heaven help them if they ever become POWs! I can imagine our enemies would pay them extra special attention. The Military has always been an organization that decides who is fit to serve…special interests and social pressure shouldn’t change this.

    It is outrageous that someone in the Pentagon feels empowered to announce a policy in direct opposition to that which was announced by the president. Root out that individual (or individuals) and perp walk them out of the building.
    As for the judges, tell them to stick it, that the taxpayers are not going to begin financing another social experiment with our military forces.

    As a vet I regard what the Obama administration did to our military regarding admitting transgenders as abhorrent. It is a burden to every commander and supervisor forced to accommodate personnel who require the intensive medical a psychological treatment needed to transform. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until this cluster makes its way to the Supreme Court to decide.
    Just another good reason President Trump gets to select the next member of the court.

            For your second question…I’m not sure where you got your facts from, but the correlation you just pointed out is not only not grounded in any facts, but makes no sense as there are a lot of men who do not like homosexual men but do not mind homosexual women….because heterosexual men are attracted to women whether they are hetero or homosexual…that’s just common sense.

It shouldn’t matter what their gender preference is; that’s their business. As long as they are willing and able to serve, that’s all that should matter. And if they are willing to risk their lives to protect what we hold dear and true, they deserve our support.

          There is more to the bible than the actions of Jesus and his direction given. Only on few occasions did Jesus obvert the Old Testament. But he also supported it on many, predominantly the possibility that he would come. If you “HAD READ” the bible there are groups of people that have been separated out as “offensives” , yet love and understanding should prevail to allow those persons involved to acquire “HIS” understanding.

    Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. Transgenders suffer from gender dysphoria. Therefore, I don’t see how transgenders can join the military. I don’t even care if a transgender serves in the military, I care about the cost of cosmetic treatment and surgery that transgenders require. Taxpayers must not be responsible for transgender treatment.

    What does that mean, “…if they don’t have gender dysphoria…”? If they have not accepted the gender that the Master Yahusha (Lord Jesus) our Creator assigned at conception (no matter WHAT “religion” you are or are not), then you definitely do have gender dysphoria!     LGBIQ is an abominable evil, and Isaiah also applies here, in that he says at Isaiah 5:20: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

    So if anyone wants woes instead of blessings, Isaiah tells us there how to have them, says Yahuwah Avinu (our Father), in the Name of His Firstborn, our Redeemer, the Master Yahusha, amein.

    While everyone gets completely worked about this, one has to wonder: Exactly how many transgenders are going to be hankering and hungering to serve in the military? I think that number will be minimal. As a social experiment, this is likely to work itself out thoroughly within a single decade and, hopefully, fade quietly into the woodwork as a “social issue” of little or no consequence.

Of course his initial position is all the way to one end. This position by the Pentagon isn’t terrible and it certainly isn’t the last word on the matter. No wonder he keeps winning. (If Luther Strange had been on yesterdays election ballot in AL. the GOP would have won – people should stop trying to outguess the Prez.)

    So the new policy says if they have a medical diagnosis from a military medical provider indicating that gender reassignment surgery is medically necessary, then the armed services will do it. I thought Transgendered people said it is not a medical problem, or dysphoria but a choice. Gotta make up their minds.

      I was discharged (honorably) in 1992. I can’t imagine how the military can competently operate with all these sociological (aka politically correct) distractions. With Bergdall walking, military retirement system changing to 401Ks, etc., etc., I doubt we’re going to have much of a defense capability in the forthcoming years.

    Headline isn’t correct. The DOD is complying with federal court orders to process transgender enlistees while the case is under appeal by the DOJ. They are complying with the accession policy issued by former Secretary Carter in 2016. Under the 2016 Carter policy, a history of gender dysphoria is disqualifying unless, as certified by a licensed medical provider, the applicant has been stable without clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning for 18 months. Additionally, a history of medical treatment associated with gender transition is disqualifying unless, as certified by a licensed medical provider, the applicant has completed all medical treatment associated with the applicant’s gender transition, the applicant has been stable in the preferred gender for 18 months, and if presently receiving cross-sex hormone therapy post-gender transition, the individual has been stable on such hormones for 18 months.

          I don’t have any business cursing anyone to hell, per Matthew 5:22 and Romans 14:4, which I do indeed take literally. All those who have their trust in the Master Yahusha and who testify that He is the Redeemer who died to pay for our sins and rose again to assure us of everlasting life will in fact live forever and NOT “go to hell,” per Romans 10:9-10. You see, you cite some very specific passages without going into the context (what it’s about) of the story. What good are these passages if you miss the overall message? God isn’t about the mortal man passing judgement on his fellow man. Jesus entered and exited this earth to show us that we can coexist if we love and accept each other as children of God.

            Let people live their lives and let God determine their final resting place when their time comes. No need to promote hateful and judgmental ideologies on these types of platforms. It’s not necessary and it goes against the very things Jesus Christ died for.

            I did not get the hate part? The scripture points to or creator God’s design, His sovereignty, and what he intended for his creation. It’s not about wearing pants or not, it’s about accepting what God made. God loves everyone one of us, no matter what we are struggling with, and, even if we don’t love Him back. That still doesn’t change His plan or design. And yes, we are commanded to love one another, struggles, shortcomings and all. Still, with that, we are not to defy God. Hence the cliche’ “Love the sinner, hate the sin”. To an unbeliever I suppose this sounds like a paradox. Realize God loved you so much, He died for you to illustrate the depth of that love. Lastly, “woe to those who call good evil, and evil good…….” Isaiah 5:20

        It is awful and my heart breaks for everyone dealing with this in their lives. Over the years I have had friends struggling with their sexual identity. I believe it is no different than any other sin. And yes, it is a sin, and we all have our share in different forms. Sexual sin seems to be as addictive as heroin but God can overcome. This does not happen instantly very often, and once a person has surrendered to God with a desire to overcome, it can feel like two steps forward one step back, three steps forward two steps back, and sometimes even a proverbial fall off the wagon. The beauty though is God never gives up on us, He knows what we endure, and He begins working on us right where we are at for “while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” It’s about believing, surrendering and seeking His will and He will transform our hearts.

    At least this is being made as difficult as possible, by imposing rigid requirements. “Transgenders” are totally screwed up people, both mentally and physically, and have no business endangering our normal troops on the battlefield and damaging morale in peacetime. Men who want to be women and in our military should have two choices: Either as nurses, or lead scouts.

      Yeah, I saw the requirements. Be very difficult for someone to prove all of those. I think it will scare off 99.9% of transgender people attempting to enlist. Of course, those standards don’t apply to those already in service. Not sure what DoD is going to do about those yet.

        Those in the service can stay but only if they continue to meet all the standard requirements that everyone else meets. If they want to transition to the opposite sex they have to have a medical diagnosis from a Military Dr. saying it is Medically necessary for that person to transition.

        I can remember a time when the biggest challenge in the infantry was getting a female into the barracks without others knowing.

      Homosexuals and their supportive families and friends argue that homosexual behaviors are not deviant and have little effect on societies, but evidence dating back to antiquity proves deviant behaviors destroy civilized societies.

      Traitors invoked the Civil War, and subsequent wars, to eradicate DNA that was the most intelligent, and physically fit from the U.S. society, which left deviants to produce generations of deviants. The time has come to eradicate deviants by the same method or house them in prisons and insane asylums to prevent them from reproducing and destroying society.

        I agree that acceptance of deviant behaviors degrades the morals of a civilized society but the Romans rose to one of the greatest empires all while pretty much accepting deviant immoral behaviors. It wasn’t until Constantine that Christianity was even accepted by Romans. That wasn’t what brought the empire down. Immigration of Germanic tribes is what actually brought them down.

        whoa whoa whoa!!! You’re sounding like Hitler right now. It was that exact mentality that caused the deaths of over 60 million people during WWII. The deviant behavior you speak of really belong to those individuals who took it upon themselves to kill people solely because they were different from them. This deviant behavior destroyed worlds and entire societies.

        Someone minding their own business and trying to live their best life has no impact on their neighbor. They’re not killing anyone, they’re not harassing anyone, they’re not doing anything violent; unless provoked. Who are you to judge who is more intelligent or physically fit? If we are on this planet, we are God’s creatures. And I don’t know about you, but I was taught to love all of God’s creatures.
