Members of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS are discussing the next steps in the fight against radical Islamic terrorism.

The coalition met Thursday at the NATO headquarters in Belgium.

Leaders are stepping up efforts to combat ISIS fighters with NATO’s secretary general, saying more needs to be done and coalition members must remain vigilant.

Defense Secretary James Mattis spoke about the commitment to defeating terror.

“Our greatest weapon against this enemy, our greatest strength is our unity,” Mattis stated. “ISIS is opposed to all nations’ civilized values, and we must remain focused on the common threat to denying them their sick and twisted objectives.”

NATO members have agreed on plans to build new military headquarters to protect Europe against future cyber threats and attacks.
