West Virginia Senate hopeful Patrick Morrisey is ramping up the pressure on Senator Joe Manchin, challenging him to three debates in the coming weeks.

In a tweet Friday, Morrisey said he has accepted three statewide debates, and added Senator Manchin needs to answer for his record.

The three dates Morrisey has agreed to are October 9th, 15th and November first. So far, the Democrat incumbent has only agreed to the debate in November.

Morrisey — who serves as the state’s attorney general — has called out Senator Manchin over his record, saying he has sided with Democrat leadership over the people of his state.

President Trump has been a supporter of Morrisey so far this election cycle. He won West Virginia by 40 points in 2016.
