The FBI is handing over new documents related to the Clinton investigation to congress.
On Friday, the Justice Department notified the Senate Judiciary Committee of the records transfer.
The documents are expected to shed light on how and when the FBI, under then Director James Comey, decided not to pursue criminal chargers against Hillary Clinton, for her use of a private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State.
The records transfer comes as congress continues to look into both the practices of the FBI, and into the alleged allegations of Russian meddling in U.S. affairs.
