U.S. authorities have accused Russian hackers of successfully penetrating voter registration rolls in multiple states during the 2016 election.

Head of cyber security at the Department of Homeland Security — Jeanette Manfra — said a “small number” of the 21 states targeted in the efforts were compromised.

The department also said there is no evidence that any of the rolls were altered in any way.

Several of the states targeted by Russians, including California and Texas, have told the media they were never attacked.

Other states said the federal government has not shared much information on the attacks with them.

The big question I always have, is why does everything have to be attached to the internet? (My bad — Mr. Sanchez below had the same comment).

  2. Anyone who doesn’t believe every aspect of the US government has been hacked at some time or other is ignorant. Anyone who doesn’t believe the US government hacks other governments a fool.

Uranium One is bbbaaaaaccckk!!! Evidence is abundant… so the issue isn’t the truth of your comment but that the progressive agitation propaganda machine won’t tell their audience the truth.

  3. Weren’t there also reports of Obama’s DHS accessing voter registration rolls in 21 states? Coincidence?

It’s not hard to get to the “voter rolls.” Almost any political enthusiast can get access to the rolls. I think the parties keep a roll of who is a registered voter. The “vote” SHOULD NOT be accessed before it was counted. The machines should validated as “safe” during the vote.

The real concern was machine manufactures might mess with the machines. There were some reports that some machines misrepresented votes, but in Hillary’s favor.

This old news being presented like it was just discovered. This was uncovered back in 2016. So why is it being rerun today?

Casting aspersions on all future elections.
What would happen if no one voted or wrote in none of the above?

Can’t hack into a system that’s not connected to the internet.

  9. So this could explain how Hillary got so many votes. Maybe it wasn’t because of Illegals voting like we all thought.

  10. Clintons, democrats and corrupt leaders in FBI, DOJ and OBAMA and his admin are complicit in trying to effect a US election and overthrow a duly elected POTUS… When are the treason charges coming?????
