“When people find they can vote themselves money, it heralds in the end of the Republic” If 2/3rds of immigrants vote Democrat as reported, then in a few years they will turn this country into the ‘shitholes’ they came from.

Anyone else notice that most comments on this thread had more effort and words put into them than the actual story they’re posted under?

    No Duh!!!!!!!

  4. California as it is now is a perfectly viable independent nation with its natural resources, infrastructure, economy, etc. The problem is that deprived of the restraining influence of conservative states, California would throw open its southern border and be even more rapidly overwhelmed and transformed into Third World country than it is becoming now. An independent California would rapidly become a typical Latin American country of a tiny corrupt extremely rich white elite, surrounded by huge numbers of resentful and rebellious heavily Indian peasants and inner-city dwellers — with massive drug violence, routine corruption, crumbling infrastructure and institutions where nothing just works anymore.

Women who flaunt the image of our Stars and Stripes being used as a hibab are clueless to the perverse irony of the message it sends.

  6. This is why even if we deport all the illegals and prevent any new illegal immigration, we will still be drowned by 100% legal immigration and become transformed like California (formerly Reagan country) into a hopelessly and permanently leftist territory where we lose on all issues forever.

UNLESS we ALSO act drastically and soon to overhaul LEGAL immigration. End chain migration, end the visa lottery, reduce the numbers, and upgrade the quality – meaning screen for IQ, and strongly prefer those who already speak English, are compatible with our culture because they’re already from a First World nation, etc. We need to act like Harvard, Tesla, or the New York Yankees – recognize that we are in a position to be ultra choosy and can insist on only the best of the best. The Yankees don’t hire the low-talent brother of someone on their roster.

    • Failure to Assimilate should also be a chargeable offense among immigrants for their first 5 years or so and should carry the penalty of deportation. If they want to join us they must join with us as well.

liberals need to import ringers and buy domestic votes with welfare in order to win elections, talk about a rigged game….BUILD THE WALL, END WELFARE

  8. Yes, and we the American people have been saying this is all about bringing in dem votes no matter the cost to our constitution or our benefit programs.

  9. WrathMaster | January 16, 2018 at 7:01 am |

Time for bloodshed. Dems need to be extinct.

  10. Dell Wilber | January 16, 2018 at 6:57 am |

Any elected position for a federal position should require an accepted federal ID in order to run or vote for that office.

  11. And the parasites inside the State Dept are speeding the process to water down American values with these approvals until communist racist dems can take over!

  12. Except the military bases are not funded by state money. They are operated and funded by the fed directly. Even if CA seceded, they would have to be a US protectorate (protected by the US militarily) and, therefore, we would certainly keep all military bases there. It would be as if we had a very large Guam attached to our west coast.

End daca. NO amnesty. Deport the illegal aliens immediately. Dreamers are ILLEGAL ALIENS. Get rid of those trash from America!

President Trump still holds onto the TRUMP cards.
The demoCRATS are desperate, as they know they are going to lose BIGLY in November.
    REMOVE the dems!

  14. deport them all

  15. Duh.

  16. Twinkle Toes | January 15, 2018 at 9:33 pm |

I have an idea, every illegal has to have an American to subsidize them, vouch for them and pay their way. How many democrats will step up to the plate and be responsible for them?

    • Nice idea, but the answer is ZERO!

      • Twinkle Toes | January 16, 2018 at 3:03 am |

Well then zero illegals get to stay. That’s my point. And, it’s a crummy idea, my bad.

    • It’s already the law that legal immigrants must have such a sponsor.

In any case, chain migration isn’t about illegal immigration. Chain migration is 100% legal. If you’re a legal immigrant you can then sponsor other people from your home country to come here, and then when they get here each one of them can bring in even more. It’s like a pyramid scheme to overwhelm us, LEGALLY.

That’s why it’s not enough to crack down on illegal immigation. Don’t get fooled by the easy sounding formula of “I’m all for legal immigration, just not illegal.” NO – we have to drastically reduce legal immigration too, especially ending chain migration. Each prospective immigrant should be evaluated on his own merits.

Nearly every baseball player wants to get into the New York Yankees, but the Yankees only hire the best – they’re not going to hire a no-talent guy just because he’s a brother of someone already on their roster, and would never be guilted or name-called into doing that. America needs to realize we’re in a position to be choosy just like the Yankees, and act accordingly.

  17. If this is allowed to continue unchecked Our nation as we know it is doomed !

    • Any immegrant found guilty of a crime resulting in deportation should cause all persons whose imigration is chained to them to be immediately deported to their country of origin as well.

  19. well this is exactly why they don’t wanna bend on immigration issues…….illegal & legal immigration is their very means of survival, because they have lost true working Americans ………..this is what will help them get back in power and will help them stay in power…..

This is what we have to stop from happening……or Americans will wake up soon and not recognize where you are!

Imagine if Hillary had gotten elected…..OMG!

  20. “Chain Migration to Add 8M Voters to U.S. Elections, Benefit Dems”
Was there ever a doubt, as to WHY the American hating left WANTS these illegals?!

    • There has been a lot of doubt, but Mr. Trump is helping expose the problem. That’s why I think the leftists hate him so much. He’s forcing liberals into truth…

  21. Scott Coston | January 15, 2018 at 4:50 pm |

the best and perhaps only solution is requiring a photo ID to vote (in all 50 states), along with cleaning up voter registration records, I’ve read that many places around the country have more registered voters than residents. This may be something we can push our representatives to legislate… BTW, ID’s should be free as long as the person has the right credentials… that way there is no bias based on economics.

Without voter identification, the election result are unreliable… if being a resident doesn’t matter… we could just open up a web site and anyone, anywhere could vote… so even if I’m in an Eastern block country I have a say in the outcome… no more worries about outside interference.

    • I agree but chain migration isn’t about illegal immigration or vote fraud. Chain migration is 100% legal. Even if we have total ballot security and deport all the illegals, chain migration can still sink us because a legal immigrant can sponsor many more immigrants from his home country, then each of those can sponsor more, until America as a whole goes the same way that California went — from Reagan Country to hopelessly permanently Left.

      • Scott Coston | February 4, 2018 at 9:09 pm |

I agree that chain migration is a problem… but I suspect that illegal voting practices account for a huge number of votes.

  22. Dems want their votes but they won’t do anything for them. There way of life won’t get better. Perfect example is the Barack Obama did very little for Blacks other than label them that so they didn’t have opportunity, Unlike President Trump’s plan to give black people more jobs and a better way of life. Unemployment of blacks is down to its lowest level in years because of President Trumps plan to create jobs for all Americans.

  23. This is why the electoral college is so important. It protects us from mob rule. For the time being anyway.

  24. kevin conen | January 15, 2018 at 2:53 pm |

Trump will turn most into Republicans. Left that out. Remember Florida was supposed to be a huge Latino and Cuban vote for Hillary…hense the current liberal hysteria. They are losing voters daily and they know it.

    • All American | January 15, 2018 at 6:28 pm |

The Latinos and Cubans are educated Americans🇺🇸Who welcome Capitalism👍🏻
They have seen in their countries of origin what socialism does.

    • I agree, but remember, Floridians are finding out (many have already found out), what a traitorous liberal piece of political garbage Debbie Wasserman Schultz is. She’s not fooling many any more…

    • No he won’t. Not even extremely PC George W. Bush, who pandered to them on every issue including affirmative action, “bilingual” education, immigration, you name it, could do better among them than a 40-60 wipe-out. Individual and rarer exceptions aside, they are not matching the socio-economic performance of the US average, and so they vote for more government benefits – there’s no way the GOP can outbid the Dems for their votes.

The Florida Cubans have voted Republican but they are a major exception among Hispanic voters. They have voted GOP because of anti Communism, specifically anti Castro, but each year more of that generation dies off, and the younger generation of Cuban Americans are much more Democratic – they don’t remember Cuba and never experienced Communism, and have been indoctrinated by the media and the government schools and activist groups.

Those of Mexican, Central American, and South American origin, as well as Puerto Ricans, are overwhelmingly Democrat voting.

Florida is also in danger of flipping Democrat very soon because many Puerto Ricans, hundreds of thousands of them, have already flooded into that state after the recent hurricane. That’s way more people than the tiny GOP majorities we manage to eke out there statewide.

This is why it’s so crucial to deport the illegals, stop all new illegal immigration, and ALSO overhaul LEGAL immigration to stop the flood from the Third World.

  25. Oh ! Do you think this may be motivation for the Dem’s to obstruct ???

  26. No more chain migration, democrats need to get off their asses and put Americans first, before a war breaks out.

    • They have not, and will not, ever, put America First. Power – is the left-wingers greed, and always leads to their ill-gotten wealth. First example comes to mind – the Castro family is said to be worth half a billion. All lefty leaders become wealthy, but there is never a middle class which is the backbone of America. As well, look how American politicians become wealthy, as our public servants???? Then they have to learn to lie so that they can maintain their ‘AMERICAN KING AND QUEEN’ status…
THAT IS the reason the democrats want open borders and do not want vetting. They simply do not care about America, only their next reelection, and padding for voter rolls by any means allowed…

  27. Erica Merovich | January 15, 2018 at 12:37 pm |

The thing is, since Reagan granted amnesty, the laws on the books weren’t strictly enforced and the democrats blocked the funding for a secure border. Thousands, millions, have come here since then. It’s had a huge impact on California and a few other states. Not all of these people work, it is a huge drain on our system. We need to secure our border and enforce the laws or change them. It is sad to think they are being used by democrats for votes. Assimilation is another thing. It’s not “in” to assimilate and be an American. It seems more popular to be an “ethnic group” in need of protecting and coddling. It’s gotten so out of hand I don’t know how it will be fixed. All I know is many people voted for Trump because they want our border secure and the people who take advantage of the system for nefarious reasons should be deported.

  28. Our nation is physically splitting between “RED” and “blue”. Let them, “blue”s live next door to all the illegals in their territories.

  29. The Democrats have turned out nation into a sinking ship, and deportation is the bilge pump!!

  30. Living in the Times | January 15, 2018 at 10:26 am |

This is a shocking revelation! Pretty sad that you have to fight, kick and scream to keep illegals in your country just to win elections. Demo voters take heed, change parties before the next election! Do you really want to be part of this sad mentality and the betrayal of US citizens just to win elections?????

    • All American | January 15, 2018 at 6:25 pm |

      Dirty deeds done dirt cheap!

    • Twinkle Toes | January 15, 2018 at 9:31 pm |

To answer your question, yes they want to be part of the sad mentality and betray U.S. Citizens. They care not about America. Their agenda is democrats, not America.

    • This is not shocking. If you are a property owner and have a HUGE annual tax for the local school system, you have been aware of it for years! Goes up every year despite us being in a mostly retirement area??? But immigration, legal or not, doesn’t cost us anything, right?? 😉

    • Sane_Person37 | January 16, 2018 at 7:09 am |

      8 million? God help us.

      • ...remain calm and return fire | January 16, 2018 at 8:00 am |

at that rate, soon, we will be ‘them’…

        • Sane_Person37 | January 16, 2018 at 9:12 am |

I believe we can already say that about Sweden. Regardless, the vast majority of these people all be on welfare/WIC and social security-medicare. Such disrespect from the federal government (both sides) to allow this. Thank God for Trump and lets get the rinos out of the republican party. It is the only chance for our kids.

  31. Time to break the chain and start deportations.
