Authorities are investigating a break-in at the office of Republican Senator Dean Heller in Nevada.

On Sunday, Las Vegas police confirmed the entry, but did not confirm reports indicating a threatening note was left for the Senator.

Authorities say someone broke into the office lobby just after 9:00 A.M Saturday morning.

Heller has recently been targeted by members of both political parties during the health care debate, but it’s unclear if the break-in has to do with his current stance on the subject.

With over 80K property crimes a year in Nevada this could also just be coincidence. The bluer it gets the higher the crime. Also coincidence?

Yeah, too bad the FBI stats don’t support you comment!
