U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley is speaking out about the administration’s stance on several international incidents making headlines in the new year.

During a news conference at the United Nations on Tuesday, Ambassador Haley applauded the Iranian uprising.  She called on Iran’s supreme leader to feel the shame he has brought on his people, saying, “If the Iranian dictatorship’s history is any guide, we can expect more outrageous abuses in the days to come. The UN must speak out. In the days ahead, we will be calling for an emergency session both here in New York, and at the Human Rights Council in Geneva.  We must not be silent. The people of Iran are crying out for freedom. All freedom loving people must stand with their cause.”

In addition to her comments on Iran, Haley doubled down on President Donald Trump’s decision to withhold more than $250 million in aid from Pakistan until its government does more to fight jihadists in the region.  She also condemned North Korean aggression, saying the U.S. will never accept a nuclear Pyongyang.

  • Esters

What is the U.S. going to do? Kill more people in the middle east? We destroyed Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria. Killed untold millions and caused a refugee crisis. What will it take to satisfy these warmongers?

  • Lester Zan

Yes she is a Rock Star, standing up there addressing a Good Old Boy’s club as one of the few women at the party. She exhibits more testosterone than half the men there and she’s a perfect lady.

  • TP

    Best since John Bolton

  • Javanne

Given its history, the UNHRC will probably elect Iran president at its next election. Ms Haley must know that the UN will never speak out against the mullahs because not that many countries have “freedom loving” governments. As for Pakistans’ denial of Trump’s accusations, I’d like to hear a plausible explanation from them as to why they knowingly allowed Bin Laden to hide in Pakistan. By theway, kudos to Trump for not only recognizing who the blame for failure of Israeli-pal peace talks lies, but for doing something about it. The pals overplayed their hand once too often, and he has called their bluff.

  • Lester Zan

So far, all of @POTUS 45 appointments have been outstanding with a possible question on AG Sessions. That remains to be seen. Nikki Haley is a pleasant surprise based on the interplay with DJT early in his candidacy. Every former Ambassador has been anonymous and irrelevant. She is exactly who we need representing our interests at the UN.

    • Spud51

I have my doubts about McMasters, he seems a little too pro-Islam for me.!!!

  • DrMitoFit

Samantha Power was too busy unmasking US citizens to do anything useful at the UN.

  • Gerardo Miguel Rodriguez-Aguil

Bravo to our President. No ONE penny more to those who bite our hands.

  • Mr. Maga

The UN continues to DO NOTHING in the Iran human rights violations, but continues to speak out against where we are going to put our embassy in Israel? And they wonder why the American people think they’re a waste of $$$$….

  • Marilyn Madd

Nikki Haley is great…. But what is really special is that our President will now allow our UN Representative to actually speak for America ….. No more leading from behind….. Thank God…

  • Expat47

I’ve not understood for many a year why the US is involved with the UN and why the UN is still housed on US soil.

    • semperfipar

      Israel.

      • Expat47

Well the Israelis should be thanking their lucky starts for President Trump ’cause now they’re not the #1 cause of all evil in the world.

  • Will Lopez

Apply Pakistan’s aid money to inner city job creation. Win win, liberal heads explode, MAGA for everybody.

    • …remain calm and return fire

No. That’s an even bigger waste.

  • Ronald White

Ms Haley for president after President Trump finishes his second term of course.

  • Dakota

Anyone can give me a hand to figure out how to block someone DC is a freak

    • Edward Biggs

if you put your mouse over their post you will see a minus and a down arrow on the upper right corner of their statement. I think the down arrow will block them.

      • Dakota

        Thanks

  • RMB38

Nikki Haley is SUCH an improvement over recent apologists and appeasers we have sent to the U.N.

    • J. Mark Lane

Truly a breath of fresh air!

  • PatrickJ

Simple question you have to ask yourselves going forward, is simply this. Do you believe in this President?
It’s not a trick question. Do you believe in this President or not? In no way is it a trick question.
It is simply a question. Do you believe in this President or not?

    • J. Mark Lane

It’s the wrong question. The question is, do you believe in the possibility of a conservative American movement that can bring this country back from some of the policies of the previous 8 years? It’s not just “this President”, it’s this President and the GOP platform and the Congress and judiciary… and the voters. Do you believe in that, as a totality? I do.

      • PatrickJ

I stand corrected, J. Mark Lane. Of course, you are right.

    • tedlv

      Yes.

  • J. Mark Lane

Wouldn’t it be awesome if the first woman President of the US was … a Republican?

    • Disqus=muzslimes censoring US

No. It WOULD be awesome if the first woman President of the U.S. was…a CONSERVATIVE. Simply being a Republican is no longer a positive, it opens the door for such liberal, globalist ‘establishment’ GOP’rs such as Murkowski and Collins.

      • J. Mark Lane

Not to mention Flake the Fake. Yeah, I agree, a conservative. But Haley would be great.

      • Spud51

A Constitutional Nationalist Conservative would be even better.!!!

      • Tyrone

Having the first female president be a conservative one would probably push the leftist snowflakes into permanent therapy and Cry-In sessions at college campuses around the country.

    • Vera Orsova

It would be great. And, even better, if there would NEVER be Democrat President.

  • PatrickJ

Regardless, for the first time since Reagan, we have a real President. it’s enough for me. We will build upon it.

  • PatrickJ

This site is a blessing. No other way to describe it, really. Good Lord, since way back before Obama was even elected, I have been on so many sites out there that I’ve lost count.

Some good, some bad. Hard to really put into the mix of things whether they were good or bad. Some, even the liberal ones, like The Right Scoop. They used to claim that they were a Conservative base. The minute Trump ran for the Presidency, they went ballistic. Shows you who your friends are.

Might not surprise you that myself and many others were banned from The Right Scoop. Turns out they were never a Conservative site to begin with. They were against Trump from the get-go.

What an absolute worthless site to begin with. And to think I spent almost two years of wasted time on their site.

Had a lot of great friends there, or so I thought. The entire experience with the right scoop, wasn’t worth spit.

    • Spud51

Don’t be too hard on yourself Pat, life is a learning process, we live and learn; making mistakes is what humans do, but knowing how to recognize and correct them is an art not everyone has mastered.!!!

  • One_way

She is very good at what she does! A strong voice for this country with no BS! Love it.

  • PatrickJ

It’s getting late, I know. Each evening we get to this point where everything that could have been said, has been said. And yet still, some of us are still here. Pretty amazing, that.

Maybe we should just start a late night club. People drifting out there in the darkness. On second thought, that’s not a really good idea. Because that’s what Liberals do on a daily basis. Little humor there. Catch you on the backside.

    • Spud51

Starting a late night club with folks like these wouldn’t be a bad idea really, sometimes it’s hard to get to sleep, and it wouldn’t be so dark if each of us lit a little candle signifying our Patriotism in the process.!!!

  • Diane Coto

God bless her. You can see the stress level building on her.

    • PatrickJ

      She handles it.

      • Diane Coto

        Yes, she absolutely does. 🙂

  • PatrickJ

I guess in the end, you have to ask yourselves, what do you expect to get out of all this really? What indeed.

  • Patriot_Ink

God, I love this woman! Nikki Haley is the right WOMAN, in the right place, and at the right time for times such as these!!! She personifies the substance of a classy woman…PI

  • PatrickJ

Once in awhile, as upon this time we are enjoying here on a warm Arizona evening here in Tucson, we sort of read all the news, and we seem to get a picture that America is winning. Sort of a pleasure to me, if you don’t mind. I hope it’s a pleasure to you as well, because after eight years of madness and misdirection, it’s sort of refreshing, if you believe that, then chime in. Respond to this rather innocent comment about freedom.

    • Steve Maxedon

Raúl Grijalva needs to go. Our gerrymandered district is a mess! HI from Yuma.

  • PatrickJ

People will continue to attack Nikki Haley in all of this mess. That is simply a given at this point.
Get over it. No one ever did a full diagnosis of the Liberal mind.

Nikki Haley stands with Trump and the rest of us. That is quite enough to paint her with an ugly soul.
An ugly soul that I happen to like. The woman is golden. She will wind up being part of the President’
s victory in all of this ugly mess.

  • PatrickJ

Actually, in this current environment that we are living in, you could easily put the two of them on the same page. Trump and Haley. Not many other people out there showing the courage that the two of them have been showing consistently

  • PatrickJ

For what it’s worth, here is what I think. The President tried out some of these people. to see what they were made of. Nikki Haley passed the test. She didn’t just pass the test, she passed the test by light years.
    This woman is Presidential material.

  • JL Ziegler

    Justice

  • Sam

She is THE GREAT, but putin will VETO any decision on Iran, NK….

    • tedlv

Putin isn’t in charge, in any way.

      • PatrickJ

I get your meaning. I mean, that he is not in charge. But in the rather murky relationships that make up the current world order of these things, Putiin is always a part of it. Like it or not.

        • tedlv

How are your sons? Tired, I bet!

          • PatrickJ

Those guys are never tired tedlv, but you knew that already. God Bless you.

          • tedlv

I was a firefighter at a nuclear plant, as were all the other nuclear operators I worked with. No real excitement there, but I have extinguished 4 house fires, including one in my own attic. Hence the interest.

  • C B

    YES !!!!

  • landy fincannon

What has flown under the radar is Donald’s executive order allowing the government to seize the assets of corporations suspected of human trafficking or corruption. Even if it involves a foreign national as an employee of the corporation.

    • ray stagger

Some people say that Trump has done nothing significant … I say Trump uses his tweets to keep the left and the fake news people .. occupied … while he does great things without their interference.

The man is a negotiator … some of his tweets are gamesmanship. The man is a genius.

And this while being viciously and wrongly attacked on many fronts.

      TWO TERMS!!!

      • landy fincannon

I have mixed feelings on this. This appears to be asset forfeiture on a global scale.

If you’re at all familiar with how the police have used this to seize property without a conviction. Then you understand my concerns.

        • PGCDan

Asset forfeiture without charges and indictment, should be done away with. It’s been abused far too many times, especially by treasury, DoJ, and the IRS.

          • LILIBETH

It has been abused. Should we really do away with it lock, stock and barrel though?

          • PGCDan

I wasn’t advocating doing away with it. I guess you missed the first part of my comment where I said without charges and indictment.

          • LILIBETH

No I saw it just fine.

        • Zotus

I tend to agree with your feelings. Local governments have used asset forfeiture along with revolving door fining of poor people caught up in a legal system they can never escape to bring revenues in like another tax. Laws sound good on paper but those who administrate tend to abuse.

        • LILIBETH

What you are saying is true, however, most Corporations usually have lawyers to handle such complaints.

          • Spud51

Asset siezure is expected if there is evidence of a crime, however forfeiture should never be initiated until a conviction has been made.!! Not all cases involve large corporations that can afford a team of lawyers.!!!

          • LILIBETH

Understood but even small corporations have legal counsel.

      • I’m Proud

I agree with you. The man is a master at keeping his enemys distracted with bull as he gets what is needed done.

I still that was the best vote I ever cast.

        • Studebaker_Hawk

I photographed my ballot. The pic is the welcome screen on my laptop.

          Maga New Year to All.

        • Adam

          Same here!

        • Clint

Spot on. He’s exemplifies the idea of not letting the left hand know what the right hand is doing. Meanwhile, the eco-Marxist walking dead and their low wattage MSM sycophants are predictably captivated by their own supercilious incestuous (pecksniffian) virtue signalling. It’s truly hysterical, an utterly grandiose pop-corn moment.

          • Spud51

While we are enjoying our popcorn, let’s not lose sight of the left’s penchant for dirty tricks.!! Be vigilant for more false allegations against Patriotic candidates, and fraudulent voting activities in the year ahead (Jefferson County Alabama comes to mind).!! The President has initiated an investigation into unlawful voting practices, so anyone who has evidence of them should come forward.!!
Democrats can rarely get an advantage in an election without rigging the system.!!!

          • Living in the Times

I hope this encompasses the illegals in CA and other sanctuary states!! Still waiting for a valid reason why sanctuary states are allowed to exist but that is another topic I suppose.

          • Lester Zan

You lost me after “exemplifies” but I agree…I think.

        • Living in the Times

Agreed! For once, I feel my vote has made a difference.

      • Rufus Firefly

Trump is a genius con man

      • Chkitout1

President Trump is an outstanding president. He has done more after 1 year in office than Obama did in 8 years. MAGA!!!!

        • tiredoftaxes31

and more than all the previous presidents since Reagan. The Bush’s – what a disappointment.. To think I gave them money for their campaigns.

          • Spud51

I think that investigation into the matter would show that Trump has been more pro Constitution in his first year than any president we have had in the past 100 years, and in the long run will probably prove to be the best President since George Washington; but he will have a difficult time doing it if we don’t help him drain the swamp by electing a Constitutional Nationalist Congress in November 2018.!!
We have to be vigilent of the activities of the Marxist Democrats, and not be swayed by their slanderous and illegal activities.!!!

          • Living in the Times

…don’t feel bad. I voted for Obama…TWICE. I was never into politics (obviously) until the last election. Funny thing is, I said sometime ago that if Hillary ever ran for President, I would vote for her. WOW, so glad I woke up out of that fog!!!!! I guess we are all entitled to a mistake or two now and then. The important thing is we learned from our mistakes LOL LOL LOL

        • Dan Taylor

Obama did do a lot, but it was all far-left-wing conversion crap. We, the People, voted against socialism in November, 2016. So far, Mr. Trump is doing what we hired him to do. I will vote for him again in 2020!

          • Living in the Times

I will as well friend! We will board the Trump train again in 2020!!!

      • Living in the Times

Those attacking fronts are bitter Democrats/Liberals. Whining and ranting is their best defense. They would rather pitch a fit because they lost the election then realize his election is in their best interest. Unless you are one of the “special” interest groups that feel they are entitled to certain privileges because of their lifestyle CHOICES.

    • Spud51

That sounds like something that was put in place by the Obama administration, just before he left office.!! Give us some specific information on Trumps EO on the issue please.!!!

      • Living in the Times

Since we can’t paste links, I will give you this section from ONE article. Google the topic. The info is out there:

“New Trump Executive Order Targets Clinton-Linked Individuals, Lobbyists And Perhaps Uranium One
Reposted from: Zero Hedge | by Tyler Durden

The Trump Administration quietly issued an Executive Order (EO) last Thursday which allows for the freezing of US-housed assets belonging to foreign individuals or entities deemed “serious human rights abusers,” along with government officials and executives of foreign corporations (current or former) found to have engaged in corruption – which includes the misappropriation of state assets, the expropriation of private assets for personal gain, and corruption related to government contracts or the extraction of natural resources.”

The EO that Obama signed freezing the Iranian assets had nothing to do with human rights violations. It was due to concealed banking transactions.

        • Spud51

Thanks for your info, however, freezing assets is not the same as their forfeiture.!!!

          • Living in the Times

Agreed. I was comparing the two EO’s between Obama and Trump as you referenced they may be the same EO.

  • Class act!

  • Let My People Go

    Go Nikki!

    • ray stagger

I would vote for her for President. Trump for two terms, and then Nikki for President!

      • We’re going to be hard pressed to find another with bigger balls.

      • JL Ziegler

        In a perfect world.

        • PatrickJ

And maybe in an imperfect world. The woman has a business sense about her that reminds me of Trump himself.

      • PGCDan

I have my reservations. She’s doing great as ambassador, but as a governor, she wasn’t that great. She didn’t follow through with the promises she gave to her constituents concerning fiscal responsibility.

        • WitchWay

I am not from her state, but I can see where Fiscal problems have to be ironed out both in the legislature and with the governor the same as in Congress and the President. It isn’t just one person who is to be held responsible for budgets. That is why we have such a mess right now in Congress – we do not have a majority who are willing to stop feeding the pig (pork) and are all too willing to accept money from the Lobbyists and special interests to keep things the way they are instead of the balanced budget and working on our national debt.

          • PatrickJ

First thing we should do is get rid of the Lobbyists. They are not a part of this government in the first place. They are just the dirty people in the background that feed money to the people who are supposed to represent us.

Something seriously wrong with that picture.

          • tiredoftaxes31

agree totally. drain the swamp too. got to stop the spending. If I was trump I would order a review / audit over EVERY agency of the Federal government and start a reengineering effort with the intension to completely reinvent the agencies. Cut costs, improve service levels, look at privatizing or getting rid of entirely.

          • Bill Lambert

You hit that nail right on the head

        • Diane Coto

… and if she’d followed through with redistricting South Carolina’s 6th Congressional District, we wouldn’t have that fool, James Clyburn, in the U.S. House of Representatives

          • PGCDan

That was a huge mistake on her part.

      • WitchWay

Or, Trump and Nikki on the 2020 Ticket. They would have the strong vote from women and the conservative men.

        • tiredoftaxes31

Trump did well picking the loyal and scandal free Mike Pence. What a class act who has the President’s back. Another person that I would vote for ….

      • “I’m a Rooster!”

I believe you’re on to something there, ray stagger. she has my vote!

        • tiredoftaxes31

Huckabee is another intelligent, sharp, woman… She doesn’t take any crap from the looser media freaks…

      • tiredoftaxes31

damn right… she is terrific.. what a breath of fresh air.. as for Trump… he continues to be my Christmas gift everyday.. the gift that keeps on giving… So thankful for this man.
